@gamesplusjames thanks so much! Can't believe you saw this I've watched so many of your youtube vids lol
Really love the concept, atmosphere, and visuals. Definitely deserves to win!!!
love the low poly style, awesome spooky vibes
@aplovestudio thank you!! <3
the lo poly dude almost gave me a heart attack staring at me from the background with those eyes.
Terrifying! No thanks!!! (good game make more)
@salaro thanks!! will do. <3
Vibe
Beautiful yet terrifying graphics – this absolutely deserves to be polished and released on Steam!
The atmosphere and the background voice are really cool, and I was fearing the creature all the time. Nice work!!
The work is so good, i will scream every time(i think)
Any chance for a web or GNU/Linux version?
Cool little horror game — I liked it! There’s this lingering feeling that something’s missing, but I can’t quite put my finger on what exactly. Overall, though, it was a good experience.
@ace17 I'll see what I can do.
Love the visuals and the sound. I can only fix one generator before the monster finds me. It'd probably be scarier if I played it at night LOL. Great job!
Interesting graphic approach gives the game very peculiar atmosphere, enjoyed playing
Great visuals! I think the game has real potential in the co-op horror genre — something like *Content Warning*, for example. Also ran into a funny little bug along the way

I m in love with this! I love horror games and vhs style horror, so this grabed my attetion immediately. And I m glad it did, this was a nice little adrenaline fix, even if I kinda got stuck on the second level with the monster camping a generator, so I kinda rage quit :P Nice work!
I love this so much!!! This is my favorite kind of game. I saw someone say this would be a fun co-op game and I agree. I'm probably going to come back to this one to play and try to get my friends to play it, just to see their reactions. :P
@machetemami that's great to hear I hope they like it!
The atmosphere is great - definitely captures that VHS horror vibe with a nice sense of tension. I liked the concept. That said, the visuals felt a bit too minimalistic and the enemy encounters could be frustrating - especially when there’s no real way to avoid or outplay it. Still, solid horror concept with a lot of potential!
@duke-ua First off, thank you for your review! One thing I really want to do if we end up expanding the concept is a better intro to the game. Maybe some general information on how to play.
Just to clarify:
When the monster is chasing you, you can run into any of the tighter caverns and crouch to avoid it.
We had also considered a timer before the power goes out to encourage the player to put themselves into tougher situations, a difficulty system could be made for that too.
Lots of ideas, but I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome atmosphere) graphics is very nice, Great job!
Very scary! Couldn't stand the nervous tension and stopped passing. But seriously - very high quality work, my respect!
I love the vibes on this one, but I wish the level design was a bit more forgiving. It's really easy to be faced with an impossible generator setup, or get camped with no way to escape. Maybe if the whole caves were a bit more spaced out, and had connected loops? Nailed the rest of it, though, love the graphics and audio. The quiet breathing was a nice touch.
@fragskye map size is definitely the reason for the difficulty that I wish was a bit easier, glad to hear you liked the graphics and audio tho :))
Very cool and super scary! Well done!
Scary game, couldn't pass the second level creatures stressed me out too much 😅
At some spots you can clip the camera through the walls and see the level. But overall great ambiance, the elevator pitch with the voice is very cool, sounds are great, seeing the eyes of the creatures blinking in the dark really set the mood.
Creepy atmosphere done right! The lighting really adds to the fear. Gave me chills — well done!
I love games like this! The soundtrack and graphics work well together, the narrow space is intimidating and adds to the suspense. It's easy to get lost, and the monster at one point stood in one place, not allowing you to pass. Too bad there are no sound settings as I almost had a heart attack when I started the game haha
The vibes were immaculate - this was really cool, and super creepy! Impressive animation and visuals for 72 hours. Sometimes the monster would get stuck and I had to reset, and the generators could do with some more interaction beyond holding E, but this is crazy good for 72h
This is the scariest jam game I've seen ever, not kidding.
Horrors rarely get me, but you totally did everything right here.
I wonder why generators are even there in the first place? But then does it even matter? Fear is in the unknown.
Voice Over was extremely pleasant, soothing and for a game like this it's a reward for bringing generators back online!
Sometimes monster camped the same spot. I realized he wouldn't move and started flashing light in his face & butt and then hiding in the narrow space, but well apparently the bastard had enough and somehow got me through textures (?). Whether it was intentional or not, I don't know, but what I do know is that it was scary AF and gave me Alien: Isolation vibe as if the monster is actually smarter than I give it credit for.
In the first level there was also a moment where he sat on the generator. I managed to start it behind his back and leave though. Maybe it just likes to play with it's food :skull:

@empyreans I'm glad you enjoyed it! The monsters AI is definitely more complex than a simple target seeking one. We had troubles with navigating the caves, so we had to go with a raycast based vision system layered over top of a regular patrol system. So yes, once he sees you; he actually SEES you. Thanks for your review <3
