The game does not seem to be loading for me in the embedded page. Sometimes this happens in Unity builds when the web player settings has data caching checked on. This is not an issue on itch.io AFAIK

Here is how you can disable Data Caching

- pack it as a ZIP index.html is at the root-level aside the folders created by Unity - Disable “Data Caching” when creating the WebGL build in “Player Settings” -> “Player” -> “Publishing Settings”

Cute fishing game! The art is simply adorable, having everything outlined in white made things pop and eye catching. The audio is cute as well, really like the shop music. The aquarium of your catches is a nice touch of polish.

Some feedback, I wish I could see how much money I currently have while fishing, instead of having to go back to the store. Also having descriptions for what each of the upgrades do would be nice (though it is obvious once you are playing). Overall fantastic entry, love to see it!

2025-04-08 03:36

Incredibly charming. Girlfriend and I loved it :) It took a little bit to figure out how to collect money! Everything else was very intuitive though especially the catching minigame.

oxnh 2025-04-08 03:37

Very cool fishing mini game, I'm not sure I've seen one like it. I do agree with you though it would be better if there was more variety of fish. Overall it was very polished and fun, good job.

siilicac 2025-04-08 03:38

very chill, very cute, Atticus is a true mood

mollusk 2025-04-08 03:39

Great game, sounds and looks wonderful. The fishing mini game was a really cool idea.

2025-04-08 03:41

Amazing Game, had some fun playing this even ended up buying a few upgrades. I think you are onto something here please continue developing it and i can't wait to see its future!

Beautiful art style as well!

peppersalt07 2025-04-08 03:43

oh i love this, it feels like something to find on cool math games. The controls could be made clearer though, but it's really fun

bashem 2025-04-08 03:44

Hello there! Nice relaxing game. I like there idea of having these 3 separate scenes. I would've loved to see a bit more detailed lake, but overall nice entry :)

camcomduck 2025-04-08 03:47

super cute, well designed game and beautiful graphics! this feels like a great "depths" fishing minigame! I think it would benefit to add some more explanation on how to play, either before the game starts or somewhere on this page/the itch page, including controls. I'm also not totally sure how to earn money, it seems like my frogs were running away and gave me coins? I will replay it if there are some more instructions provided, but it was fun to throw the fishing pole and do the circle fishing minigame!

keely-brown 2025-04-08 03:47

Really like the fish background in the menu. Great aesthetic. Instructions were a lot to take in on the front page - forgot a lot of them quickly. Fishing minigame is p good. I always take a moment with these kinds of rhythm games to get oriented before I can get into a flow and the meter means that I could nail 4 of them in a row but still lose the fish because I was too slow to get started. Maybe if the meter replenished a bit on a correct click? Would be neat to see a shop or more of a goal in terms of what you're trying to catch.

Love it! I think I did everything... not sure what all there is to do. But, I did find a sparkly fish, and caught all the ones I saw. And unlocked everything: Screenshot 2025-04-07 at 8.55.15 PM.png

I love this little dude: Screenshot 2025-04-07 at 8.56.43 PM.png

The main fishing mechanic was super intuitive and felt great! Loved the number popping effect to sell it. Some of the fish were super stressful, in a good way!

scriveneroflight 2025-04-08 04:04

I enjoyed the art, particularly the little froggy visitors. I like that they drop coins. At first, it was challenging, and I didn't realize I was making money and could buy upgrades. Those helped with the harder fish. The sound effects were a little jarring to me, but not a big deal. Overall, a fun little game. Great work!

helen 2025-04-08 05:10

Your game looks really polished. I like your graphics and had to smile when I saw the little frogs carrying money :D - at first I didn't read the instructions and was waiting for a long time to catch a fish. Then I saw I can move the bobber and endless fun began. Great job! Sadly the game state isn't saved once clicked on the controls.

melonboy 2025-04-08 17:18

there is something nice about the simplicity of this kind of game. i was however a little disappointed not to find anything bigger than the third fish.

salaro 2025-04-08 17:53

@melonboy I was hoping to add more zones but due to poor time management I couldn't, there are rare shiny variants though that are quite a challenge to catch!

apt-prose7 2025-04-09 03:36

Stardew Valley Style?

mmayans 2025-04-09 03:42

I love the vibes of this game. Cute fishing mini game, the aquarium is well implemented and the store is a nice touch!

fikusm9 2025-04-09 09:40

Lovely graohincs, really relaxing little game. Was kinda sad there werent more different fish for my collection...

cursewurm 2025-04-09 11:19

really cute art! ive never played a game with a fishing mechanic like this so it was really fun :D

okuso 2025-04-09 12:11

Really cute! I always love a good fishing minigame in other games and this gave me the same feels :) The grapics a really cohesive too, which shows that you have a nice style!

qiuqiuqiu 2025-04-09 12:28

love the pixel artstyle and the frogs look at the captured fish together. The game loop is well done.

verttixpertti 2025-04-10 08:21

Game was cute and fun UNTIL the red fish came into the picture. F that fish. Catching it was harder than sekiro. Otherwise good game, maybe delete that fish to spare sanity of players though just my take. Also sometimes hitting the walls or the floor when the fish would dodge made me hiss at the screen.

wakobu 2025-04-10 09:33

Nice cute little game. The gameplay is very simple but the game is neat

salaro 2025-04-10 13:50

@verttixpertti double down and add dark souls boss music when you try to catch a shiny (I already tuned the catch speed of all shiny fish so it should be made easier once the jam is over)

tosmaster 2025-04-10 16:43

The fishing mechanic is really well done and the art is soooooooooooo cute! Well done great game overall!

shp 2025-04-10 18:49

I see a frog, I play. Good game built around a fishing minigame, I've always dreamed of catching a sturgeon.

kukaracila215 2025-04-10 18:56

gotta love a good fishing game, we do want more of those for sure

ping78 2025-04-10 21:12

Love this game! The fishing mechanic was intuitive and fun to play. Those red fishes were a great addition to the game. Well done!

wyzal 2025-04-11 13:08

Nice fishing mechanic very like it. More content to the game and it will be great time killer! Awesome concept, good job!

sarafilipa 2025-04-12 21:11

This is what I wish most fishing minigames were like. A lot of the times, the mechanics are just frustrating, but this one is FUN. Super solid entry, the graphics are really really cute.

mooyett 2025-04-12 22:37

It's funny because we also initially wanted to make a fishing game but we were afraid that it would be boring. Turned out your game was the one I spent most time on haha

The aquarium screen (with the frogs below) is just super cute, the music is precious. Really amazing work!

binaryprinciple 2025-04-13 06:37

You have the base of a nice cozy game if you want to explore it and expand it. A strong loop (fish>show>sell). I recommend adding music and more juice on the catching of fish. What about taking wishlist or orders from your clients, and those fishes glow or are outline, and harder to catch.

I enjoyed it a lot!

lisek-gagatek 2025-04-13 13:25

I love that you've came up with a pretty unique fishing mechanic (at leas I haven't see it used anywhere else as a cozy game connoisseur).

Sometimes when the new point on a ring in this minigame was spawning, it was in a place super close to the one I've just cliced on. When this happened, the fish was drawn over it, so I couldn't immediately see this point. I think it would be a good idea to introduce a minimum distance between the points in the minigame and/or maybe reduce the fish size.

gerswick 2025-04-13 22:12

W O A H !!!!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely adore your game. I'm literally giving this 5 stars like no other game. Insane. The fishing mechanic is simple yet effective. The loop is so fun. The art is beautiful. The frogs are cute as hell. The aquarium is satisfying. The bobber movement and gameplay is smooth and also fun. If I HAD to pinpoint something not perfect, it would be that the progression felt a bit "slow". But maybe that was because you don't see all your fish in the tank so I wasn't sure if there is a certain capacity or if it's just for aesthetic/performance issues, so I didn't know if I should fish more or wait for money. THE MONEY!!! I almost forgot, the money sounds, VFX and the mechanic of having to pick it up is a cherry on top. The music is also very nice. Thank you for your submission, giving you a follow!

hypersomnia 2025-04-17 23:30

Perfect visual!!!! And love your mechanics design of how we fish!!!! The diffulty design is also perfect. It feels so interesting that different fish gives me different fishing experience!!! Well done!!!

lordsheo 2025-04-19 14:22

very cute game, simple but fun loop. Love the style and as a fellow frog game creator for this Ludum kudos :frog:

this might be a personal thing but I'm never really a fan of pixelated text, while it definitely fits with the style of the game I do struggle a bit to read it. Otherwise very nice!

prvaak 2025-04-23 10:28

Very nice and polished game. Awesome job for such a short time!

Does catching a fish that is already in the aquarium give some bonus? After some time the fishing became just a way to pass time to wait for visitors to drop coins.

After purchasing the coin collector it took quite some time for the coin counter to go from 500 to 0.

I got all the upgrades but I have never seen the rare sparkly fish

salaro 2025-04-23 16:44

Catching multiple of the same type of fish actually gives you a bonus multiplier to the value that fish gives, if a goldfish gives a value of 2, then catching 5 doubles it to 4 and so on! @prvaak

chs-flws 2025-04-24 12:55

Very relaxing game. It's simple yet not boring. Enjoyed it!

cassowary 2025-04-25 21:10

This is cute! It reminds me a little bit of Webfishing. The fishing minigame felt fun and well-balanced and I liked all the little details like the visitors on the aquarium screen. :)
