"hmm why do i hear boss music" "oh"
this is really fun, yall should upload a thumbnail for the submission so more people can see it
Oh I love short and simple games whose whole purpose is to tell a story. I love how the loading bar gets slower and slower and you dont really notice it on day 2; I love how surprising having the connection again is. Aside, I did come across some control and screen flickering issues, and i think there's something going on with the mouse capture. Overall it's really sweet, good job :3
took me quite a while, but i managed to Screenshot 2025-04-08 at 5.12.10 PM.pngbeat the game!
that was really fun! Though i did find a bug: if you click on the final tile, the worm can directly go to it without needing a path
when the wall particles shifted for the first time i got goosebumps. I think i did find a bug though - if you try entering the combination before getting all to runes you can softlock yourself
the submarine sounds exactly like my fridge i love it
AaaaAAEehrgh i love htis ;-;
the shifting orientation idea is really fun, but a lot of the parkour needs to be tweaked to either have more forgiving hitboxes (and more consistent ones, such as a cylinder for the player instead of a capsule, since capsules can slide unintentionally off corners depending on how kinematics are calculated) and/or common parkour mechanics such as coyote time; the rotating section needs some clear indication of which way gravity points (like a hanging object or falling boxes or something), since currently the only way to find out is to fall and reset your progress. It also wasn't clear the reason for why jump became disabled at one point. I was unable to finish the game due to how unforgiving it is, but it might just be a skill issue on my side.
oh i love this, it feels like something to find on cool math games. The controls could be made clearer though, but it's really fun
Oh i love the sound when you almost miss an obstacle
box/10 would take my meds again
ayy 1 button control games! gosh i wish this was a rhythm game, it would feel like something out of rhythm heaven
i love the title "A robot with funny physics goes down for a diamond". It's honestly a mood.
I half way through i realized this was meant for a mouse; I only had a trackpad. I beat the game and it gave me repetitive strain injury 11/10 would travel through the entirety of someone's digestive track again
@willby argh i figured the exe issue might happen. I don't own a PC so the only testing I could do was via wine and it ran for me. As for the web embed, it works for me on chrome. I made the mistake of using godot Forward+ graphics instead of compatible, and I didnt realize there was a big difference till exporting
@willby if it's freezing during the dialogue, I think web inputs are handled differently; pressing space a bunch might get past it (?) I'm still not sure why it happens
@harvmori OOH THAT'S WHAT THE FILE IS FOR hang on i've uploaded a zip including the pck thank you so much I would've never figured it out ;-;
@javasaurus Yeah I honestly agree, originally planned for this to include puzzle game mechanics and much more context, but I realized I'm really bad at making puzzles and decided to just focus on learning how to implement the visual aspects this time
@gaspar ah, there is an event that triggers if you look around the right places, maybe I should've made it more explicitly the result of player input
@goiaba-games Thank you! The font I'm using is the Magnetic Drawing font designed by GGBotNet. I slightly modified what the "G" looked to differentiate from the "E" a bit. You can find the font here: https://ggbot.itch.io/magnetic-drawing-font
@antonin-granados Thank you! The audio consists of foley that I found online / dug out of other stuff i recorded previously that I layered and processed a bit. I don't think I actually put in a lot of audio work this jam, so I opted out of the audio category.
@dinosaur065 The eye descending was modified from a viral photo of an eye of the humpback whale calf 'Sweet Girl', who gained Internet fame late last year due to it -- However she was brutally killed by a reckless speeding boat just days later. I wanted to use that famous image of her and make her look judgmental and otherworldly-powerful, so I projected the image on the inside of a flattened dome to leverage the hollow face illusion to make her look bigger than possible (making the model follow the player's horizontal position also helped). I had originally planned for the game to have an environmental theme, but sadly little of the storyboarding was actually implemented in time. I'll be sure to revisit this project someday when my brain decides it would let me.
@yuriscat nice to meet you!
Screenshot 2025-04-08 at 1.23.03 AM.png YAY HAPPY SQUIDS
🐍 smake
Atrocious (in a good way) sound effect, bravo
Cute ! reminds me of old browser games and typing game tutorial software things, the art style is also super reminiscent of that era and feels really warm !
AAAAAAAH NOO MY SHEEEEPScreenshot 2026-04-20 at 10.40.09 PM.png
Colony sim with cool visuals, one note is that i'm having a hard time getting the objectives to trigger, even though i've found the items
Oh very cute ! It's like rhythm heaven, neat ! I love the flavoring of the attacks as needles and scissors
WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THE FUCK 10/10
I cannot get past the Cardinality level, but i'll try again tomorrow !
@orangeoceans OMG i loved your entry, thanks for checking this out, (also, thanks for notifying me of the firefox bug, I found [This](https://github.com/godotengine/godot/issues/51810) open issue for godot, so it might be an engine limitation for now; I'll see if I could find a workaround later (like not capturing the mouse for firefox or something))
Update: yeah it so it turns out it's a known Firefox Pointer Lock API bug that hasn't been patched yet, and there isn't much I could do about it
@yuriscat 小时候吃过一个零食叫好多鱼、、
@pkenney woah i never considered the fact that multiple instances could be active at the same time, and i tried it just now and it was really fun O_O, it's so cool that you are finding ways of interacting that i never envisioned happening
@nikiroz i originally wanted to make a cute frog game where you have a call and response type thing with croaking and everyone is on like lily paddles and stuff, but when i started sketching the idea i got carried away and the universe beamed this game into my brain so i had to let it happen
Based and lainpilled, looking forwards to playing this when I get home today ! i can already tell that it's peak
The music is really cool, and the puzzles are certainly challenging, I agree that the probe puzzles are a bit hard to figure out, but it was rewarding when I manage to do so; a notebook would help a lot !
Woah, I really like it and it's really fun, I also was a tiny bit confused at the start, but the rest was pretty intuitive. I like how if forces you to learn how to use certain towers
To me, the signal delay feature was more enjoyable as a combat mechanic rather than a puzzle element (but the puzzle part of it is not bad either !), but I still really liked it
啊 好可爱 我死掉了 啊
呜呜呜呜呜呜好可爱
Neat puzzle game with a lot of potential, I was hoping for more complicated levels with things like turning around or color changes, but considering that this is a compo game it was quite impressive
Crunchy isometric ! Took me a bit to figure out, but the signal extending part was a really neat mechanic for this type of game
