I half way through i realized this was meant for a mouse; I only had a trackpad. I beat the game and it gave me repetitive strain injury 11/10 would travel through the entirety of someone's digestive track again

basekeet 2025-04-08 06:49

While playing, I realized how badly my desk is set up 😄 Cool game, really nice visuals!

nicknickolas 2025-04-08 06:51

Interesting idea, but for some reason my mouse didn't lock in (i was playing in chrome)( so if I used the wheel the screen would go down. Anyway I liked it.

foxecho 2025-04-08 06:53

@peppersalt07 Hey, 120% respect for finishing the game with just a trackpad! Ideally, it’s meant to be played with a keyboard and mouse, but what you pulled off was a total Chad move. You’re the reason miracles exist.

foxecho 2025-04-08 06:57

@nicknickolas Thanks for playing! Make the game fullscreen by clicking the button at the right bottom cornor would fix that problem.

foxecho 2025-04-08 07:08

@basekeet Thanks for playing! You’ll need a bit of room to maneuver on your desk — or you could try beating the game with a trackpad, what could go wrong :)

jachymthegoat 2025-04-08 08:59

Different from others in a good way, really good game, goob job!

alem26 2025-04-08 09:00

Very simple but incredibly innovative game! Just the right difficulty for a gamejam I would say. I really appreciate the way you taught the controls while you go. Had no technical issues personally (Firefox).

Theme is also on point. Well done!

foxecho 2025-04-08 09:27

@jachymthegoat @alem26 If you had fun, I have fun. Thank you!

d0vid 2025-04-08 09:42

Short and very fun, I did the whole thing without realizing the scroll wheel rotated the mouse though D: Congrats on your first jam game :D

foxecho 2025-04-08 10:39

@d0vid Yes, it may need some adjustment on level design and the sacle if I had more time. But again, if you had fun, I have fun. Thanks!

bismark 2025-04-08 12:35

I enjoyed the game's gameplay, its adherence to the theme, and its little finishing touch ;-) Graphically, however, I found it a bit lacking. In the end, it's a success, I think :-)

kseon 2025-04-08 12:48

it's hard to manage but I understand that's the point, the idea is very cool

gifarre 2025-04-08 13:01

Screenshot 2025-04-08 155939.png

I can go fully out of bounds on most places, and if I flick the mouse I can skip sections if I end my mouse movement on a white area. Fun idea, sounds are nice, my ending screens were a bit scrambled but I guess the bugs are a bit inconsistent. good work tho.

foxecho 2025-04-08 13:30

@gifarre Hey thanks! I had some friends with little gaming experience test it, and they all felt it was too difficult. So I made the collision shape more forgivable—but that might make it feel too easy to spam for players looking for challenge. As for the final score screen bug, I think it’s related to how Godot’s RichTextLabel behaves on the web build. Really appreciate your time and thoughtful feedback!

foxecho 2025-04-08 13:41

@bismark Thanks for playing my game!As for the visuals … well,The visuals are 100% original, for better or worse 😂 Would do better in th future.

haokai-xu-1999 2025-04-08 14:55

Good work! It's hilarious to play as a block (maybe a cubic candy) into the digestive system. Using the Mac trackpad to play is quite suffering though. 加油!

2025-04-08 15:10

This is so cool! I went thru it on my Mac trackpad lol. Love the shyt part at the end! that is so funny, well done!! [pic.jpg](///raw/571/56/z/6b6b5.png)

2025-04-08 15:20

yes pic.jpg

foxecho 2025-04-08 15:24

@haokai-xu-1999 @yourfrenchbabyshark Thanks for playing! I thought only a few people were trackpad warriors lol.

delunado 2025-04-08 16:43

Hahaha, good idea, so funny (and nerve testing) to play. Reached 1200 points :')

nsadie 2025-04-08 17:30

Fun little game, well done!

smalltalkinc 2025-04-08 19:20

Wwooow that was pretty tricky. I'm not sure if I just need to practice a lot or if I didn't really like the controls, but it is a very cool idea. Definitely one of those games you can get obsessed with. Good soundtrack too! Very unique and quirky concept

xorfe 2025-04-08 22:03

My reflux liked this game.

zerocomms 2025-04-09 03:06

Picking up the mouse feels cumbersome.

caeonosphere 2025-04-09 10:45

Clearly, I need a better mouse. And a better hand. And brain.

hernandack 2025-04-09 14:10

lol very funny game, i like the idea and it remind me of those japan game back in PS1 era

pechedodue 2025-04-09 14:11

0.PNG OMG i'm so sad, I lost because of a sneeze :'(((

ronalchue 2025-04-09 14:15

Interesting way of control, how you understand where it's going at the end, it's funny. Good job.

alyd-asmar 2025-04-09 14:39

OMGGG we also had the digestive track idea during our brainstorming, I'm so happy someone did it :joy: My trackpad is quite bad + I already have chronic tendonitis lmao, so I did not get past the small intestine. BUT the concept is super cool, and the game is simple but very efficient!! Nice one

foxecho 2025-04-09 15:08

@alyd-asmar Thanks and what can I say, great minds think alike, lol.

And honestly, I should’ve put a disclaimer at the start: "Warning: bad for your tendons."

airgameboys 2025-04-09 16:44

Very original! would love it to have a mouse trap and not needing to hold to move. It reminds me of an old web prank where you had to solve a labyrith like this and then the girl from The Exorcist would suddenly pop on the screen

she-wrote 2025-04-09 17:25

I think the cursor could use a bit more personality in its design. Also, maybe the space key could be slow down instead of speed up, since I usually don’t let go of it, and the game encourages completing levels quickly. Still, it’s a good little game with a charming visual. Well done!

ice-in-nortern 2025-04-10 14:19

今天刚在小红书上刷到,结果现在就遇到了qwq

foxecho 2025-04-10 16:11

@airgameboys Thank you! Having the player hold down the left mouse button was part of my attempt to create a more direct, continuous connection between the player and the mouse. The core idea of this game was to explore interaction in a slightly different way.

That said, I understand that requiring players to hold the button the whole time might feel uncomfortable. And I really appreciate you taking the time to play and share your thoughts.:)

foxecho 2025-04-10 16:17

@she-wrote Thank you for liking this and your support!

And yes you are spot on, the game was actually originally designed with the opposite setup—pressing the key to slow down. But just as you said then many players simply wouldn’t use it. Since I wanted players to keep their left hand on the keyboard (forgive me 😅), I made the decision to switch.

That said, I think it definately could be improved with better level design and some tweaks to the mechanic.

foxecho 2025-04-10 16:17

@ice-in-nortern 怎么说呢,有缘千里来相会

tugaryn 2025-04-10 17:52

Game for pencils 100%, like it, but on web version(especially if two monitors) mouse go from screen, needs fullscreen well done!

shp 2025-04-10 18:39

Cool game! All the low sensitivity CS gameplay helped me clear this! Reminds me of some fun flash games of back in the day

oddmes 2025-04-11 10:29

Unfortunately, the controls is way off for me, The object is kind of snapping to a position abruptly with inertia, ramming into walls.

sylf 2025-04-11 18:50

I had some issues with the controls – the mouse cursor kept slipping out of the screen and I’d lose control of the “thing.” But overall, the concept is fun and fits the theme really well!

foxecho 2025-04-12 03:17

Quick fix update today:

Mouse shouldn’t escape the window anymore.

Blood particles now actually show up on Web (oops).

Sorry about the issues — it should feel a bit better now. Give it another go and let me know what you think!

zzy2141 2025-04-12 06:08

Very fun idea, and great choice for visual style. Scrolling feedback was good, and overall control was surprisingly smooth. (哈哈哈我也是昨天小红书看到了!)

foxecho 2025-04-12 10:13

@zzy2141 谢谢!哈哈。小红书算法的魔法。

lllarso 2025-04-13 16:15

I had fun playing through the game (did it on a Laptop with a Touchpad). I think the difficulty was balanced enough. The different speed sections was a nice touch.

The rotation was not needed in my run. It would be cool, if there was an indicator when you are close of being out of bounds.

Nice interpretation of this years Ludum Dare theme. :)

ammonit 2025-04-15 10:07

Wow, what a cool solution for the given theme!!! I’d be absolutely thrilled if there were sounds enhancing the atmosphere of the insides I’m traveling through)))) And a bit more animation would be great! But overall, it’s a vibe!

euler-moises 2025-04-21 17:34

A great interpretation of the Theme. Even though it's a very simple game.

The PLOFT sound at the end of the path made me feel like a real poop.

The mouse movement is a bit choppy, but for a game made in 3 days it's very good.

Congratulations!

jvdwijk 2025-04-21 21:02

Really cool visual style! I couldn't completely finish it as it kept launching me forward at random sometimes... But really liked the style and concept of the game

rej 2025-04-25 14:35

This game takes a simple concept, and executes it really nicely! I liked that the bounds checking weren't too strict, because this prevents the player from loosing because of small errors. It's also nice that the scrolling speed changes in different sections depending on the course.

molpe 2025-05-03 21:41

Great, fun and educational game! More and less  Thinking I was a sharp object passing someone's digestive system added some stress, specially for me  https://youtu.be/AByLxTtya4A
