I do love the presentation like it really looks smooth. yet the mechanic itself seems legit and cool. the dynamic of game entities also puts a good feel for the game. nice job there!
I really like the concept of 2D fighting but use the hp to choose power, it's so out of the box and looks fresh. but of course the keys are kinda hard to do, overall this is cool tho
I love the way of the environment you all bring to this game, not so casual but still fun and playable. what really take my eyes is actually the story it self, with the output of choosing the action. Overall it's nice and have soul, I'll recommend put more audio that supports your stories (as in a pov a stage musician) because it will take your game a whole lot more. again, good job!
this game feels good to play and has a nice concept is making it better. sure sometime those enemies are piles up which kinda frustating because the theme itself to reduce energy but it really gives atmosphere, good job
i do love the style you put into this game and about that it means a good one. then it comes to the mechanic, I kinda thing of it as good but after some time it feels like need some variations. anyway, it's good for a jam.
this is cool actually, if only it has more detail of story or gameplay it would be better. the concept is really good with nicely done execution. again if you put some in depth gameplay and make it contrast with other mechanic then I think it'll be more enjoyable.
lol kinda reminds me of my brother, fun stuff and casually played. I like it but I believe with better graphic it will looks nicer. still it's enjoyable
I like the way you put the graphic into a one world. Everything looks cute and feels connected. It's not just about the graphic but also the presentation and the game itself. Well done.
You know what? I like the main char, well actually I like the graphics pixel art style is really brings a whole new level to game presentation. Mostly your effort to make the animation. This is good, should be taken to longer gameplay, nice one!
I like this kind of game, voxel is a nice choice there. I think this is like the movie time. For limited time of game development I'd say this is nicely done.
Thank you @dkmk100 hope to play your game soon.
@holden lol yeah I think it's because I tested it on above level 5 which every 5 secs auto spawn enemies (below level 5 will have 50% only to built up the lane and max hp). Thanks tho!
@kevin-palani yes thanks. I think it's slow and my bad for testing it on faster tempo too many times so the slow paced game seems need to be reconfigured.
@manuel-rauber I don't know about the laggy stuff but it works fine here, maybe I need to test it more to know if something buggy or what. Btw it could be because I use the mask and particles in an appropriate way without thinking of the cost. Thanks again!
@von-vista yeah sure I always thinking about the audio all the time but again I could not use my collections because it's not fit with the game itself, and then comes the time and deadline so I just made some so simple like that lol. but thank you.
@slimabob the idea is to stick with the official them in my mind, not a good one but still can push the idea somewhere. I think I learn more. Thank you.
@mharring ah yeah the fx, actually I already make the fx but they both have the same for towers and the reactor and looks weird but I think I should put that on, despite I don't use sfx for enemy attack. Really helpful, thank you. I'll note it down.
@listonos that golden stone is etherion and it supposed to increase max hp by 50 for each 10 of it that collected by player. and yes the game is kinda easy because I try to find the balance between towers damage and enemies hp etc, but thank you.
@luis-j-benitez thanks man and yeah about the pace I really think about it alot. thank you
I like the light-kind of style you use on this game. looks totally fits and catchy. but the mechanic is so good and the way to playing with light on a contrast environment really gives an atmosphere.
I agree with maloy for the control but I think it's worthed to try and still playable. I think you could put AI so the balancing on the gameplay itself will be easier to receive. This is cool for a game jam!
I really like the idea and the visual tbh. It's like using advance shaders. Anyway, the input event a.k.a controls is not easy to cope as it's does make the game object interaction harder to visualize exactly for someone like me. But overall I like the idea.
It looks very nice and the 3D representation as well, very well done
Yea I love the creepy feeling when playing this, a job well done I think. I do use external speaker and blasting the audio as usual so this one got me off guard intentionally...
Man, the graphics are beautiful! I love the vibes, reminds me of modern feeding frenzy kind of things, the mechanic as well, real nice.
Man I really the graphic and it's implementation. You gotta create youtube for the behind the scene / devlog with how you intrepet the ideas. Anyway, less HUD means the game rocks.
It is looking and feels really great, the atmosphere, the mood mostly, is awesome. I can dig this game, and will do.
Pretty neat and fun. I like the audio and of course the delivery of the game, although I'm not pretty sure about the Depths theme but it's fun to play
The way the depth of field is used to guide the player is really clever! It creates a unique sense of focus and mystery. I enjoyed the overall atmosphere. This game has a really interesting concept. I agree with others that exploring more hidden elements or story threads using the blur mechanic could be fascinating. I'm impressed by the visual style and the audio design. They work together really well to create a distinct mood. The depth of field effect is a standout feature.
I really dig the unique art style! It fits the theme perfectly. The sound design also adds a lot to the atmosphere. This is a clever take on the theme! I wasn't expecting [surprising game mechanic]. The learning curve felt just right. The game has a lot of potential! I think with some more polish on the [specific aspect, e.g., UI, controls], it could be really fantastic.
lol lol lol this is the game that I need to play before went to bed for real, un-stressing feeling, nice one
Graphic are good, nice audio as well, gameplay is fun and well it's the mosquitos best friend that hits me
I bet this game goes with the mood in mind, because I can feel it just the way I perceive the first few part of the game. Liked it.
I like how your team incorporate the depths with this kind of mechanics. Looks cool although at first I didn't read the controls so I was blank for a moment lol...
Very trippy... I liked it lol. It does match with the theme as well and fun to play. The humor on this one is good as well.
Yea, I think I understand the concept and the way you handle the game mechanic as well as some as aspect of the playable part itself, however I could it's bit confusing somehow with the background. Overall it's nice, and visual effects like playing with the texture albedo (godot) or even shader or just change the sprite's Hue whenever it interacts with something that affect the player will be good
lol very funny game, i like the idea and it remind me of those japan game back in PS1 era
lol I know it's a neat Depths mechanic but still fun to play, looking at the sprite lol
Man I like the visual and the mouse interaction effects, I've been in web development for almost a decade but just seing Pixi.js implemented on this. Amazing!
