Congratulations guys, especially for your first jam !!
βHello!
Nice idea, and congratz on your first jam!!
Regarding packaging, it is recommended build the project in order to submit it. Itch allows you to add compiled versions (the best option is WebGL, it takes a while to compile but it is multiplatform). You can still do this even after the deadline. This is only the code (git included data) which makes it heavier. The code is easier to submit as the git(hub?*) project URL.
Maybe add a WebGL version, or mac download so more people can play it
this is fun to play actually. with the graphics and the mechanic it's already nice by the time I played for the first time.
Looks very interesting but I'm not sure how to actually launch it. Will definitely check out later tho
Very nice guys. Love your entry keep it up !
Wow a lot of comments here !
@rakowu @hozoku @hernandack @randdir thank you very much for your support it is very cool π
@sol-roo @bartman @lamossus thank you for the advice we will hurry to do this so that everyone can play it !
Nice concept!
Very creative idea! We did a "surgery" themed game as well, but you guys had a totally different take. I loved the macabre humor. Good entry :smile:
I think I have some problems with the build, I can't play it well: I can't change items (with both my keyboard and my mouse) and when I press Space, I'm not hiding but playing a weird animation and There is no restart button, I have to reload the page. Whatever, I understand what you wanted to do, and it could be interesting. I have to admit that my first jam was clumsy too, discovering Unity can be hard. Don't give up, you can learn a lot in jams. So just a tip: Search what is an anchor on Unity doc, so now your UI can fit any type of screen ;D
The theme is intriguing and I really like the art style. I enjoyed playing the game, but couldn't get past harvesting the kidneys. The only issues I had was with the organ harvest portion. It was difficult to determine how to grab the organs or if I had one select. If you decide to continue working on it maybe add some feedback so the player knows that they are able to move them. I'd also recommend polishing up the shop as it was a little difficult to navigate. Overall great job for your first project!
Thanks for rating our game!
@boxedmeatrevolution thank you very much we will also test your game !
@kilian-baptendier really strange we had no problem during the test but we work to make it in WebGL so maybe it will solve everything π
but otherwise thank you again for all your comments so warm !
@rainetheglutton @kilian-baptendier @lamossus @bartman @sol-roo it's finally corrected !
I think the game is playable for everyone now !
of course, there is still a lot of things to improve but I think the team needs some rest π΄
thanks to you all and hope your gaming experience will not be ruined π€
Fun game, I really enjoyed it. It wasn't necessarily clear how to purchase items or where to put the organs initially and the game could benefit from more polishing. Overall, good job, keep up the good work!
Haha! Good job on the game, it nails the theme perfectly! It was a bit confusing as to know what to do, but once figured out it was OK. The art and sound effects were great, I liked the yellow haired patient with the US flag on his jacket :p. I can't speak French so the shop was a bit confusing, but I was able to figure it out in the end. Very good entry, and with a bit more polish it would be a fun organ harvesting simulator!
Well done!, the first time I played I was confused, but after I read the description I got the hang of it. A suggestion I'll make is the font, it was barely visible (increase the font size value and minimize the size of the label). Overall, great job for your first Jam guys! :smiley:
I love the dark humor, and it's a great interpretation of the theme.
but I don't really get it. The shop was in a different language and I couldn't actually figure out how to buy anything. Game seemed to reset itself.
@furtive-pygmy @spirits @shaolin-dave
Thanks for your feedback !
Yes unfortunately the shop was done on the end, we could not translate it and finish it correctly π
In case to change the type of object are left and right arrows, To change the improvement of the object are the arrows up and down and to buy the object is the spacebar ! π
