LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Mage : Arena by mactinite 2017-12-05T08:57:23Z

Mouse sensitivity is way too low. Audio cues would help a lot but there aren't any. Maybe I just didn't get far enough but some sort of progression (like new spells or upgrades) would be nice, since playing 50 waves of the same thing isn't really fun. But overall pretty fun game to kill some time

Splotch 2 by Sebastian Lague 2017-12-07T19:51:03Z

The points that allow you to change lines have way too big colliders. I messed up the whole thing quite a few time just because I accidently grabbed one of them. Also, apparently the game isn't completely determenistic, because I had few times when the same solution played out differently, which may make a game a bit unfair. Also the level design is a bit... weird, it's kinda hard to understand how are you even supposed to do that. Other than that quite nice game

The Dark Castle by Joror 2017-12-20T18:34:12Z

Got only 7 endings so far and will definetly play more of it! I saw your post about how you made graphics and it is fantastic how you used your skills to make such great visuals, they really add to the atmosphere. I didn't quite understood how is the theme implemented, I guess it's the more attribute you have the worse it is for you but that's kind of a stratch

The Dark Castle by Joror 2017-12-20T19:47:44Z

Ok, got to 11 endings, have no idea how to get others. I'm pretty sure the part where you come closer to the lord to stab him is bugged, I had 3 corruption but the dialog box still said (not corrupted)

Into the Slumber by FernandaBatista 2017-12-09T13:32:39Z

Physics are kinda weird, it's pretty easy to break levels instead of finishing them intended way. Also, the balls were getting underground sometimes. And what exactly do those things on the walls do? I couldn't figure it out. The game was still pretty fun to play

Shoot off their lumps by pixeye 2017-12-08T12:37:55Z

Visually, the game is great. But such a small amount of content and lack of sound cues make it hard to judge right now. I also really like the setting (Inspiration by Dead Space is obvious, I'm pretty sure even the name of the game is a reference to it) and the mood that you've managed to set in such a short amount of time. Basically, this will probably be a great game after the jam ends, but right now it's not that interesting.

Jazzy Beats by Moski 2017-12-09T12:45:55Z

Art style and music are fantastic! The gameplay on the other hand doesn't seem to work that well, all attacks except Ultimate Sax Drop felt like they barely did anything, and even after using that the fans quicly turned against you. And even then the game felt a bit too easy. Combo system was kinda weird without any attacks chaining into others.

I hope I didn't seem too harsh :D I still liked the game a lot, I think it's one of the best entries I've seen so far!

Happiness Simulator by tobia88 2017-12-09T13:07:32Z

I really like the concept of the game, the way to get to true happiness ending is counter intuitive in mechanics sense but kinda obvious from real life perspective which is a really good game design!

Happiness Simulator by tobia88 2017-12-09T18:36:56Z

A tip for those who want to achieve true happiness ending: You don't need to buy ANYTHING

Headstuck by fullmontis 2017-12-07T19:58:44Z

I really like the concept and unusual interpretation of the theme. The dialogue was too fast sometimes tho

Traffic Trouble by lekiy 2017-12-09T08:44:23Z

Interesting concept but levels are too easy. I completed every level except the one where they go in spiral on first try, until some of the last levels you can just make every light red, wait for cars to go by, make the lights green one by one. Make more with less traffic lights, just putting more of them won't make the level more interesting or challenging. Also, it would be nice too see some cars that required the player to change their plans on the go, like cars who ignored traffic lights or ambulance that needs to get to it's destination before certain time or the player will lose, something like that. I still enjoyed the game tho, keep up the good work!

Wrecking Ball Princess by radmars 2017-12-17T19:57:19Z

I wish there was a bit more control over the ship, after playing for a while I got used to it but it just didn't feel right. The implementation of the theme I guess is more ships you have the harder it is to control your ship? If so, it isn't really like that, since the ship is hard to control to begin with it isn't really noticible when you collect more, and the hitbox of your weapon becomes bigger, so it's actually becoming easier. I got to the point where the ball covered the whole screen and there was absolutly no challange. I didn't really see a point in throwing the ball, it's hard to aim and you just lose your weapon. The colliders were kinda weird and ships kept flying even after I hit them. Also, some ships where appearing from nowhere and then disappearing again.

I stiil enjoyed it tho!

For Better or For Worse by valandre 2017-12-07T13:21:18Z

nice mood and artstyle. Controls with mouse felt a bit awkward and flashlight was completly useless. Was expecting something more sinister from the story

Room Shuffle by DBONGames 2017-12-05T08:06:25Z

Can't even start the game. Edit: Okay, I started the game now... and immideatly fell through the ground. It happens every time I hit the table

Room Shuffle by DBONGames 2017-12-05T08:24:44Z

Finished the game... Laggy, boring, nothing really interesting. all rooms are just straight corridors or turns, there's nothing unique to them wich makes puzzles kinda boring. Jokes in the final room were kinda funny I guess

Money transporter by lexi 2017-12-09T12:02:33Z

The only con I can see here is a lack of sound. Well, also the maps could be more varied. But overall really fun game!

Vroom Vroom Kaboom by profan 2017-12-17T19:38:44Z

There are only 2 complaints I have: 1. it's hard to tell in which direction taxi is going to go 2. Using <^> sybmols wasn't that convinient. Well, and of course there could be more content, but it's Ludum Dare, so it's obvious you just didn't have time.

Other than that it's a great game, one of the best I've played this LD actually! If you are planning to make a full game out of it I think you should add more variety though, I liked level design (last one seemed so simple at first but it actually required some thinking) but there isn't that much you can do with just junctions and turns.

Corruption by Veralos 2017-12-07T12:01:05Z

overall the game is nice but some places felt like the had too much enemies that did't make the room challenging but rather annoying, especcially enemies near the edge when you have to jump+attack repeatedly. Final long jump was also frustrating. But I must say that the way you used a level design to teach that while running you kill enemies just by touching them was really smart

Santa's Factory by SaraMartins 2017-12-11T10:26:59Z

The game is waaay too easy, you can just throw presents from basically any point in room. I also didn't understand how stress works and how exactly is theme implemented. But overall nice little game, graphics are simple but fitting, background song is pretty nice and christmas-y, creates the right mood for upcoming holidays

Cost by D-Studios 2017-12-09T07:58:36Z

The game is too slow, often there's no way to jump over enemies which ruins main game mechanic, I also got stuck because I couldn't jump over platform in my way

Drift Punk by CremaGames 2017-12-05T11:21:37Z

Playing it was lots of fun! Theres some weird bug tho, sometimes when you lose one of your trailers before fully filling it you dont get any destination but also cant pick up any more people

Power Surge by Mettra 2017-12-09T07:40:48Z

I love the concept, it's such an original take on theme! Graphics are also pretty nice. I beat the whole game in 1 try without losing any health tho. Just pick up 1 speed upgrade, 1 multiple lasers upgrades, and 3 damage upgrades and you're unkillable. I would really like to see post-jam version if you're planning on doing it!

Triskeon by cottontshirtz 2017-12-05T07:59:05Z

I don't really get how this works, can you explain it a bit more in detail?

Triskeon by cottontshirtz 2017-12-05T08:45:48Z

The game is fun but I still didn't fully understand how to play right. Couldn't get past level 3

USS Deep Explorer by Bismark 2017-12-08T20:29:51Z

Great job, I really liked the idea! It's way too easy at the moment tho, even on max difficulty it's easy to just go straight for artifact without caring about recources too much, which basically ruins main game mechanics. Also, the robot is waaay too slow, every action takes unnecesarrily long time. If you're planning on making full game I recommend you to make robot faster and add an option to control discovered machines remotly (at least at some short distance), so the game would feel more dynamic.

Chuckles, the Word Juggler by SecretPocketCat 2017-12-07T19:29:57Z

Yeah, the backspace bug made it much harder if you messed up even 1 letter, but overall nice game

Lonesome Hunter by EveningWayward 2017-12-05T09:15:12Z

Weird but kinda cool graphics, disturbing sounds, great atmosphere. Couldn't finish the game though, killed every enemy and couldn't find anything interactable. Also didn't quite understand how the game fits theme

Lonesome Hunter by EveningWayward 2017-12-05T09:22:16Z

@eveningwayward, yep, build 002. Will probably try your game again soon when I have some time, maybe it was one of those weird one-time bugs without any reason

Lonesome Hunter by EveningWayward 2017-12-05T10:56:33Z

@eveningwayward неа, всё равно не работает, после 4, если не ошибаюсь, волны просто нет ни противников, ни НПК. Ну и из уважения к другим пользователям сайта то же самое на английском:

nope, still not working, after 4th, I think, wave there are just no enemies or NPCs

Goblins 2 Go by SFBTom 2017-12-08T20:59:20Z

81% was the best I could get. Really cute art style but gets repetitive pretty fast. Overall really nice game!

To the glory of the great North Korea by Jonasz999 2017-12-17T08:53:29Z

suggestions:

give more information about turrets, their range, attack, fire rate etc;

add more variety to turrets and enemies;

make a game progress faster. Waves lasted way too long without feeling much harder.

Managed to get to 57th wave leaving the game in another tab and checking it every 10 mins or so

I would really appreciate if you could check out my game in return

APOLLO v-1.0 by grey 2017-12-05T07:31:42Z

There's a bug: if you press "w" immideatly after start you lose. Also it's kinda hard to tell when you are going too fast. But overall pretty nice little game

A Spark of Light by TurbulentWinds 2017-12-08T21:08:58Z

It was a bit confusing at first but pretty fun when I got the hang of it. I wish the camera view was bigger and the mage would be harder

Mobs by Iferit 2017-12-09T07:52:21Z

The game is so cute and funny! I'm not sure if that was intended but I love how mobs start just falling down after some time, like even they can't bear it anymore :D My highscore is 5600

Slimelands by Wagner 2017-12-05T18:43:44Z

I sometimes got stuck between islands for a while which lead me to getting hit. I wish there was a bit more content like different islands with different slimes or maybe some islands that had NPCs on them because at the moment the game gets repetitive pretty quicly but I guess such a short development time justifies so little content. I'd really like to see the post-jam version of the game if you are planning on doing it because the idea of the game is great and it has a lot of potential!

Grim Reaper by Lamossus 2017-12-05T00:10:39Z

Thanks, mysterious anonymous!

Grim Reaper by Lamossus 2017-12-05T00:34:01Z

Yeah, the music was last addition, couldn't make anything better, so settled at this

Grim Reaper by Lamossus 2017-12-05T08:30:43Z

Thanks for your feedback. I will probably work on the game more after Ludum Dare ends, so any sort of criticism would help

Grim Reaper by Lamossus 2017-12-05T09:40:37Z

@chin-jieh yeah, a lot of peope tell me about bad feedback on attacks, I added knocback to make it more obvious but apparently it's not enough. Definetly something I will fix after Ludum Dare ends

Grim Reaper by Lamossus 2017-12-05T15:14:01Z

@gassasin the same way you kill all other enemies, just hit it bunch of times. I recommend buying either speed or jump to make it easier although it is possible to jump over it without any upgrades

Grim Reaper by Lamossus 2017-12-08T04:38:51Z

@veralos basically, the only use of jump upgrades is to make it easier to jump over red ball enemies. I planned on adding more verticality but had no time to do it

Grim Reaper by Lamossus 2017-12-08T21:15:41Z

@turbulentwinds, done! I hope you'll have a good time playing my game!

Grim Reaper by Lamossus 2017-12-09T12:31:05Z

@robinhoodpt, oh wow so much feedback, thank you! A lot of people said about attack feedback and it's fitst on my to-do list for post-jam version, tweaking values like speed, attack, jump height etc is right next to it. About the theme, depending on amount of souls you have, the more enemy types you'll encounter and the more often they will spawn, I guess it's not that apparent because there are only 3 types of enemies at the moment. Do you have any specific suggestions for ui?

Going to check out your game now!

Grim Reaper by Lamossus 2017-12-12T03:46:53Z

@jlreymendez, yes, every soul you bring to the altar counts, even if you spent it on upgrades

Grim Reaper by Lamossus 2017-12-12T11:52:15Z

I haven't really played my game after uploading it and now I finally decided to playtest it more... Wow, it's hard! It's waaay harder than I thought it was. But at least I got new highscore (627)

Also, I'm going to fix few bugs, so there's probably going to be new version tomorrow/day after tomorrow.

Also, also, I would really appriciate if you could tell me in the comments what your general strategy was and how much points did you get, because right now, judging by my own experience, buying base attack damage as much as possible with some health upgrades for safety seems to be the best strategy

Grim Reaper by Lamossus 2017-12-21T05:07:03Z

@finntastico now the game works in web! I haven't got time to playtest, so there might be some bugs, but I will do it later today.

Grim Reaper by Lamossus 2017-12-21T11:40:15Z

@yishalee here are some tips for getting a high score (I'm sure there is a better strategy but that's how I got my highscore):

1) Obviously, don't die. If you die, you lose all collected souls, so it's easier to just start again.

2) Only souls you bring to altar count towards the score, so make sure you get to the altar before time runs out or you will just lose those points (I might change it in the future).

3) Buy at least one health upgrade and one jump upgrade for safety, it isn't necessary but it will be much harder to not die while collecting large amounts of souls without them. You can also buy regeneration ability later on if you want to play it even safer.

4) Buy main attack upgrades, this way you'll be able to get souls faster.

And this is pretty much it. If you will think of a better strategy I would love to hear it!

Waiter, Please! by Chin Jieh 2017-12-05T07:24:04Z

Great game! Seems unfair at first but after getting into it it becomes very fun

Chaparrito's Adventure by Johnsey 2017-12-09T12:07:12Z

The concept is cool, the game is too short and easy to fully appreciate it tho

CHARLES DE GAULLE - 2122 - by Aerios 2017-12-05T10:28:00Z

fun for a while but gets repetitive pretty fast. Managed to get 4130 points

Scrooge the Cat by clayzulah 2017-12-20T17:52:11Z

It's a great game but isn't it against the rules to change your game before ludum dare ends?

just checked, it is "Certain Bug Fixes are allowed. You can’t add new features, but if something broke or didn’t work correctly as you were finishing up, you can fix this after the deadline. You are asked to highlight the changes you make in your submission (a short change log). You probably wont get a 2nd chance with some players, but at least it wont be a problem for future players."

Mizu by sbarrio 2017-12-09T12:24:45Z

Good game, especially audio and level design! I didn't finish the game tho, after getting the game over screen I didn't really want to replay the same levels again. (Also if you jump on a platform on level 2 while it's going up you will go right through it)

Reyerta by Tatos 2017-12-07T13:03:37Z

the game is a bit too slow, wish it had more dynamic. Don't really like games that rely on randomness but this one was quite nice

Plague Venue by Sengi 2017-12-08T20:49:52Z

Probably one of the best games I played during this Ludum Dare. It's a bit too easy tho, and if I understand it right, there's no real penalty (well, except wasting a lot of time) for just going back to totem every time you kill someone, which makes the whole thing kinda pointless. There isn't much variety either but that can be explained by a short development time. Also, the game was really laggy for some reason

Edit: Oh yeah, it was really annoying when 2 or more people kept walking in the same place making it almost impossible to understand which one of them is your target

Greedy Merchants by jlreymendez 2017-12-07T12:11:25Z

It doesn't feel beneficial to collect coins, you will gain much more points by intentionally becoming pirate and sinking others, plus the speed penalty is way too much

Flash Light by Newbicus 2017-12-07T12:31:59Z

The idea is nice but there isn't much variety

Busy Room by chinykian 2017-12-05T07:53:13Z

Great game! Couldn't get past 21 though

LD42 — Running out of space

Alon Analytics by unpronounceable 2018-08-18T08:59:33Z

The game was really confusing at first but became quite enjoyable after some time. It would be nice if there was some sort of score in the end to see if you are getting better.

Also if you want to get more ratings post some screenshots and make a post about your game

Dark plague by geck0 2018-08-14T21:45:26Z

Nice runner game! Writing what exactly the orbs do in the tutorial would be pretty helpful. Adding a bit more variety would make the game much more interesting too but I see that you plan on doing that already. I think the stone colliders could be a bit smaller though, it's really hard to dodge them in some situations. Really liked the player model!

Oh and also music loop felt kind of out of place, maybe find or make some other track?

(My highscore is 1:50)

Tales Of Steel And Mana: Empire's Birth by DreamingDice 2018-08-27T21:27:57Z

The art is inconsistent, often blurry, some textures that should be transperent are not. And since you opted out of graphics I assume you didn't make them, but authors of the artwork aren't mentioned anywhere, the credits button in the game doesn't work. The gameplay feels really slow and stamina system only makes it worse. I'm not even sure how the battle system works and there is no in-game explanation, I thought that amount of damage dealt is the difference between attack and defence values but sometimes enemies attacked more than the difference. The text has some typos and the font is hard to read sometimes

OutThere by mrsylar59 2018-08-13T20:24:07Z

Wow this game is hard! Couldn't colonize more than 3 planets (technically 4, but I died on it). Asteroids seem to be too fast to properly react to them. I constantly mashed space to get at least a bit safe. Food is a bit to scarce too but maybe I just wasted too much of it on planets. Population didn't really seem to matter.

I hope I don't sound too critical. I still enjoyed the game a lot! The graphics and music are nice. The idea is also pretty interesting. Will probably get to it again later.

Slime Escape by Dom Harris 2018-08-15T08:57:01Z

A really nice game! Spent some time getting 3rd place on both modes. The only complaint I have is that dash could be improved. You can't use it on the ground and can't cancel out of it with a jump. Adding those features would make movement MUCH smoother. Some of the collisions also seemed clunky but it's fine for a LD game. I really liked this game! Keep making more!

The theme wasn't too present though.

(Also you can triple jump but you description only says double jump)

Rainforest by SimoGecko 2018-08-27T20:40:44Z

Got stuck behind a wall on my second play through because I accidentaly stepped behind the shelf after pressing the button. I will leave better feedback after playing a bit more.

dfjfhfkjg.png

The graphics are awesome! The gameplay is pretty interesting and polished but gets repetitive after a while, maybe add some power ups or upgrades to change it up a bit? The sounds sounded a bit weird but the music was fine

Nooooo! by YANIV 2018-08-15T09:27:46Z

Really liked the music, reminded me of old Nitrome games. The ideas is great and fits the theme very well! One of the best games I played this LD so far. There are a few bugs that might ruin player's experience like lines not disappearing after you use ability or enemies randomly removing a block somewhere on the corner

Overclocked by LuckyFeathers 2018-08-27T09:36:26Z

This is the best LD 42 game I played so far! I really hope you will continue developing it! I'm surprised you have such low amount of ratings.

The game is very deep but all of the mechanics are very simple and easy to understand. The learning curve is perfect adding more complexity as you unlock more upgrades. The game might seem a bit unfair at first because of the random selection of shapes but after playing for a while you start realising that there is ALWAYS a good way to place things. Making such a huge bonus for making multiple lines at the same time really motivates to think about your shape placement and creates a very interesting risk vs reward mechanic where you can go safe and remove lines as soon as possible or get a bit greedy for score and wait for the perfect shape to appear. If you will polish it a bit and have a good marketing this game may even become the next Tetris!

my highscore is 7500 by the way

Space Cows by net3ton 2018-08-14T11:08:07Z

The game was a bit confusing at first but after I understood the mechanics it became much easier. Spice didn't really feel like a problem, I always had a lot of it. I didn't really feel like I was running out of space either

Surrounded by Traffle 2018-08-14T10:47:46Z

Pretty simple but really fun game. My Highsocre is 185. Adding some variety like different enemy types or more weapons you could use would be nice. The indicators showing where the enemies are didn't appear sometimes for some reason. I noticed that it mostly happened at the top and bottom parts of the screen if that helps

Blast Off by Nattress 2018-08-27T08:57:07Z

Like others mentioned enemies REALLY need some feedback. It was hard to tell if my bullets were even doing anything. Difficulty should probably be increasing as time progresses and a bit more variety to the gameplay would be nice because after some time the game gets very repetitive. Enemies some times clipped into the ground, it didn't really affect the gameplay but just looked weird. Also, I would suggest using icospheres for the planets instead of UV spheres, so that central parts of the planet aren't bigger than the top and bottom ones. Camera was also weidly positioned, I got used to it after some time but I think moving it up even a little bit, so that you can see enemies coming from the top would be better

The Subway: horror within by Bibilega 2018-08-14T00:51:14Z

The gameplay is too simple. The art is fantastic though! Would like to see what other games you will make

Commander, We Have a Problem! by Lamossus 2018-08-14T00:22:13Z

@chaach thanks for your feedback! I didn't think the game would be that hard for others, I personally can get to 15 minutes on normal, so I thought other players could get at least 5-10 minutes on it but it turns out it is much harder if you don't know the mechanics that well.

To make it easier I recommend building Laboratory as soon as possible and unlocking one of the Food buildings. They are both pretty good because they not only produce food but also increase happiness a bit.

Commander, We Have a Problem! by Lamossus 2018-08-14T00:33:49Z

@ben-lee There isn't really a win condition, you just need to survive as long as possible

Commander, We Have a Problem! by Lamossus 2018-08-14T00:44:36Z

@chaach @ben-lee I made easy mode a bit easier if you'd like to give a game a second chance

Commander, We Have a Problem! by Lamossus 2018-08-14T10:16:40Z

@matzetoni The farms are only ment to slow down food consumption, so I would recommend researching other Food buildings. The laboratory also eats a lot of food, so make sure to deconstruct it when you don't need it.

Commander, We Have a Problem! by Lamossus 2018-08-14T13:27:50Z

@scottyseus I thought about making it a feature but thought that not having it would encourage people to plan ahead further. I might add it post jam

Commander, We Have a Problem! by Lamossus 2018-08-15T08:36:02Z

@luca1152 could you please clarify what exactly is unclear to you about the game? There is an in-game how to play menu, if you haven't seen it

Commander, We Have a Problem! by Lamossus 2018-08-17T16:29:19Z

@mrsylar59 it says how much the building costs on the right in the desciption

Cardback Dicing by literallyjosh 2018-08-27T10:20:00Z

I'd suggest adding items that add new abilities rather than just change your stats. Something like an item that lets tou reroll 2 of your attack dice or something like that. A bit more information about the items you pick up would also be pretty nice. And combat felt too slow, so maybe you should speed up some animations

You May Live (YML) by SachaY 2018-08-28T07:47:53Z

So the enemy of country tried to go to the hospital and I rejected him. Then some soldier came and said that I let the enemy in but can fix my mistake now and I let him in. Then another enemy came in and gave me money for saving the spy. I'm pretty sure it's a bug. It's also weird how your money can go negative and I think the money management is a bit too unforgiving. There also some typos in the game.

Other than that I think the game is great. The idea is very interesting and I would like to see where it goes if you plan on continuing development. The graphics are also really nice and add a lot to the atmosphere.

Relentless Siberia by lazarche 2018-08-14T21:32:50Z

The graphics are too inconsistent and the perspective is very weird which makes navigating the map harder. The mechanics seemed too confusing, tutorial could be more informative. The lack of feedback made it even more confusing. You can't tell when you hit an enemy, when enemy hits, when you are hungry, when you are thirsty, the actions take too long, I wasn't sure for a while if my shovel was even doing anything. After searching through whole map I didn't find torch and any ammo. I didn't quite understand how to get more water.

Relentless Siberia by lazarche 2018-08-14T21:48:21Z

@lazarche I hope I didn't sound too discouraging. Fitting so many mechanichs in a game in 72 hours is pretty impressive! I just thought that it would be good to tell my thoughts on how the game could be improved

Carter's Crates by Diego Escalante 2018-08-13T20:48:48Z

It reminds me of a reeeeealy old game I had on my phone. It was almost the same but you had to put the box of the same type in a row of 4 instead of sorting them by color. Playing this game felt very nostalgic. This is much harder though! I have no idea how you managed to get so many points in one game. I only got like quarter of it. The game is really fun, I'm not sure if other entries will even be able to compete with this!

Trash Tide by Josh Stafford 2018-08-13T23:53:14Z

It feels kinda bad when you lose because Tide Turners just didn't spawn. Other than that it's a really fun time killer

Space Out! by Wattumartti 2018-08-14T00:17:20Z

It gets a bit too repetitive for a while, having more mechanics would be pretty nice. Industry also seems a bit OP, maybe make the cost higher?

The visuals are pretty great! The music is also pretty nice

Color Run by Adam Pandos 2018-08-14T13:25:12Z

I really like the simple minimalistic graphics! The gameplay is pretty cool but really hard, I would suggest making walls move a bit slower. I couldn't get past level 4 I think.

Also you can negate the platform's effect if you jump just at the right time (most noticible with slow down and jump pads). If that's intentional it would be useful if you said that in the tutorial and maybe made the time window for it a bit bigger. If that's not intentional I'm not even sure how you completed the levels

One Man's Trash by mike_inPrinciple 2018-08-13T23:41:01Z

Very fun game. The only criticism I can give is that difficulty curve is pretty bad. Some levels are much harder than the others. Couldn't get past the shrink level but all other very really fun. Cool take on the theme!

BOMBER WONDER by JesusAcHe 2018-08-14T00:41:38Z

A pretty fun game. The enemies seemed to disappear sometimes (or maybe they walked into each other?). I think it would be better if you could choose abilities with keyboard using number keys, for example.

Crate Typist by Luca1152 2018-08-27T07:48:49Z

A very nice typing game! And a really hard one! Only got to wave 3 with 99 score. Didn't really feel like it was fitting the theme, you aren't really running out of space, you are running out of time.

I'm not sure if giving more score for the crates closer to the center was a right idea though. I can see what you were going for, making it a risk vs reward mechanic but it felt more like the game was punishing you for playing good and rewarding for playing badly.

Monkey Beat by Zangold 2018-08-14T10:37:56Z

The art is pretty simple but very charming. Music is 5-stars from me.

The gameplay is a bit too simple being one-button game but still surprisingly hard. If I understand how it works correctly, the crowd gets mad if you miss the beat or press space when there is no beat, which is a bit unfair in my opinion, because then the crowd gets closer 2 times when you press the space at the wrong time on one note. It ecncouarages the player to not even try to hit space if they are not sure if they are going to hit the note just to be safe. Other than that the game was really nice! Would like to see where it goes in the future

7:30 am by matzetoni 2018-08-14T10:56:47Z

And this is why I always go to the train a bit earlier :D. Unusual idea, I liked it a lot, very fitting with the theme. A bit too short though. (Also you can fall off the map if you go back on the tracks)

LD44 — Your life is currency

P(l)ay with your life by godsboss 2019-05-14T16:15:44Z

Nice idea. The game is simple but fun. The only complaint is that it felt like it dragged on a bit too long. Maybe lower time health and motivation values a bit? (My highscore is 1105705 btw)

Consume by ghost-in-the-toast 2019-05-01T15:09:35Z

The best entry I played so far! Great music, nice visuals, interesting idea. The only flaw is that the game is a bit too easy once you figure it out. Other than that the game is amazing! Do you plan on doing a post-jam version?

Consume by ghost-in-the-toast 2019-05-01T15:12:05Z

@dreadusa the skill actually matters a lot. You don't even need upgrades that much. What you need to do is to use wands on wands. Then you can get some crazy value from items. My record was a 128 potion. Another useful thing to know is that blood pacts work on blood pacts, so if you manage to get blood pact of 30 or more it might be a good idea to wait until you have at least one more blood pact in hand

Vumpires: Night of the Bat-men by SeiferTim 2019-04-30T12:43:35Z

The contols felt a bit awkward but the game is pretty fun

Nameless Hero by Guilb 2019-04-30T13:12:15Z

The idea seems really interesting but I didn't really get to enjoy the game that much since it's so short and easy. Just mashing attack button was enough to kill enemies

Mind Over Matter by MZA 2019-05-01T12:43:45Z

I really like graphics and the idea of the game, but to be honest gameplay just didn't feel fun at all. The main issues were awkward controls and camera. But I still enjoyed the game a lot, great job!

Credit Card Rampage by playball 2019-04-30T13:03:47Z

Nice and simple game! Wish I could play more but at wave 7 enemies just stopped coming and shop didn't appear

Pricelist by Lamossus 2019-04-30T13:14:51Z

@hestrateja each captured point gives you 1 coin every turn. I'll look into the bug, I'm pretty sure I know why it occured but if you could tell me a bit more specific about where it happened it would be great

EDIT: The bug SHOULD be fixed by now

Lifelust by MateusBoga 2019-05-14T16:02:40Z

The presentation of the game is amazing! Both audio and graphics add a lot to the mood of the game. But the gameplay seemed to lack some depth. Enemies didn't seem to be different enough and felt the same when fighting. If you manage to get enough damage upgrades to one hit all enemies which is pretty easy at the start, the game pretty much only requires you to press space at the right time and that gets kinda boring rather quickly. Also both knocback and movement upgrades seemed kinda useless. I'd say that after buying them landing hits became even a bit harder for me.

I hope my review doesn't seem too negative! I still liked the game a lot and think it's one of the best entries I played yet.

Lifelust by MateusBoga 2019-05-14T16:02:44Z

(For some reason LD doubled my comment, so just ignore this)

Love, Death&Swords by Dmitry Kaidash 2019-05-01T12:53:04Z

Considering the time limit the graphics are amazing! I like your approach of making all controls simple by using just the mouse but it definitely needs some more work. I think adding cursor to show where exactly the character would go and mapping attack to another button would improve it a lot already

Adepts of Virgil by Yursa 2019-05-09T10:11:26Z

The gameplay was simple but surprisingly fun. The only thing I don't like is that getting more adepts to altar seemed more tedious than hard. Maybe also reward players for completing levels quicker? Then you'll have to balance speed and saving adepts. Also on 3rd or 4th level adepts just disappeared before altar, so I couldn't complete the level. Adding some sort of traps and just generally adding more variety would improve the game a lot imo

Blood Coins by TheItCrOw 2019-04-30T12:11:26Z

Couldn't really play the game. I think some bug appeared that didn't let me interact with altair

Blood and goods by selewi 2019-04-30T12:32:15Z

Shops seem to appear more often early game which is kinda weird because you don't have much health at that point and can only afford one item or sometimes none at all. And then later when you have a bunch of health you don't encounter any shops and enemies just start to beat you by stats. A bit more even distribution of the shops would make the game feel much more fair imo. Other than that the game is great! Loved the art especially

Orgain by Dziukoala 2019-04-30T11:50:08Z

Looks very interesting but I'm not sure how to actually launch it. Will definitely check out later tho

LD45 — Start with nothing

Cradle of the void by notime4games 2019-10-11T16:34:44Z

I really enjoyed the game's atmosphere. The sound and graphics added so much to it! The idea is also very nice but the gameplay could be improved a lot. The movement feels kinda awkward, I think having higher sensitivity would help. Giving a bit more direction to the player would be great too, I didn't notice the monster at first and just wondered somewhere in the dark for a while and after I finally noticed it I lead it to the right making it fall of the edge softlocking my game. I think this could make a really interesting game with more content and polish, are you planning on making post ld version?

Hungry Hungry Spiders by bendmorris 2019-10-07T06:49:15Z

Cool game, reminds me of .io games. As others mentioned the colliders seem to be kinda weird which makes it hard to kill bigger spiders. Also the camera should probably be a bit more zoomed out when you are small, so you can be a more aware of bigger spiders around you.

Kruzhok by Lamossus 2019-10-11T16:40:23Z

@notime4games Thanks for playing my game! Great feedback, I'll surely improve the sound and fix some problems post ld. And yeah, not dying makes score go waaaaay higher because combo at the end of the game can go up to around 300. My personal best was around 13 000 000 and I'm pretty sure it could go even higher!

Kruzhok by Lamossus 2019-10-19T14:34:53Z

@josh-galecki thanks for feedback! The dot placement is actually completely random but that sounds like a really fun idea, so I will probably add it to post ld version.

I guess I should've made it more clear, but killing enemies actually increases your combo and score, so if you kill enemies you can get abilities much faster and gain insane score at the end.

March of the Gladiators by FinalForeach 2019-10-07T08:01:22Z

Pretty fun game. The difficulty ramps up way too quickly tho. It took me a few tries to complete second level. Also bow seems to be a bit overpowered, since it has very big range compared to other weapons and also pierces through enemies.

Nothing Does Matter by joqlepecheur 2019-10-12T20:48:44Z

Was a bit confusing at first but after getting used to mechanics this game is a really neat puzzle! Probably the best entry I played so far!

Broken Broom Adventure! by RubixNoob13 2019-10-11T06:22:01Z

The movement is rather basic but feels pretty nice. I like how broom doesn't give you much height but allows you to hover long distances horizontally, that's more interesting than something like a regular double jump. Maybe change your generation a bit so it creates more horizontal obstacles, I think that would make it a bit more challenging and fun. Also you should probably allow players to use hover after falling off the platform, not just when they jump

Slinger by Bungalow 2019-10-07T14:34:55Z

Platforming feelt really nice and smooth. Graphics and music are really good. The sling mechanic took some time to get used to tho. Are you planning on making post LD version? Cause I definitely want to see more of this!

Boss Battle Royale by Gold5Games 2019-10-07T06:31:25Z

I really like the idea! The graphics are very good for a game made in 48 hours. The core gameplay loop seems fun. Items lacked variety and the game could really benefit from having multiple dungeon layouts and bosses but considering the short time limit you did a great job! Also wish different weapons dropped more often, I had to restart the game like 10 times to see all 4 of them. Overall a very nice entry! Are you planning on making post LD version?

JO-KEN-DO! by Hcursino 2019-10-07T14:44:55Z

For whatever reason I can't connect to the website the game is on.

Edit: Works now! Gonna check it out

JO-KEN-DO! by Hcursino 2019-10-07T15:20:08Z

Like the humor and the idea but the gameplay felt way too random. It's way too hard to use some strategy when you have a 5 second counter. Stalling until you have some special moves ready seemed like the most reliable way to win. Weirdly enough this game kinda reminded me of BattleCON.

Robo-Fort by geoff.nagy 2019-10-07T08:53:43Z

The gameplay is rather simple but very fun. The difficulty should probably ramp up faster. It's really easy to defend one box, especially if you move it to the corner. Great entry!

LD46 — Keep it alive

Aniyah by gamechoy 2020-04-27T12:27:10Z

The game seems pretty simple but very polished for a game jam. I liked the graphic style, a bit more dynamic animations would feel better imo but considering time restrictions this is pretty impressive! The audio didn't stand out too much but it did its job and added to the game's mood. The only things I didn't like: 1) I didn't feel pressured by time at all, I had plenty left in all levels, so maybe make the timer shorter; 2) Sudden shot from the shadow sometimes felt a bit unfair, especially considering that you only have one health.

Overall a really fun entry. Good job!

Vigtafl by bwalter 2020-04-21T11:24:56Z

Oops.png

Oops, I think I broke your game. It's opponents turn but it can't move to any space, and I can't do anything either

EDIT: Same thing happened when only my king was left and he had nowhere to move.

Blood Runs by Sol Roo 2020-04-22T09:22:56Z

I really liked your style and overall aesthetic! Gameplay-wise it reminded me a bit of GTA and Hotline Miami. Great entry, one of the best I played so far! I wish people would react more to all of the chaos around them though

🐱 Cat Fun Factory by gamescodedogs 2020-04-22T17:48:40Z

Really fun game. I mean, it has cats! What else do you need for a good game? The only complaint I can think of is that roads sometimes didn't connect. Not sure why

Hive Preserver by _for_science 2020-04-21T16:25:18Z

Cool game! Low-poly graphics look nice. I think it would be nice if the game showed you your play time at the end, pounce makes it a fun challenge to try and complete it as fast as possible

Сharon-don-don by Royoyo 2020-04-23T11:37:46Z

Really interesting take on the theme! Enjoyed the graphics and audio a lot. But I didn't quite get the point of quests. Whenever I completed them I only lost survivours, so after a while I just stopped doing them. Also, I think it would benefit the game if it was just a bit shorter. It got kinda repetitive at the end. Still one of the best entries I've seen so far!

Hope by Darylsteak 2020-04-22T13:09:00Z

I really liked the pixel art and the story is nice. Puzzles require some thinking outside of the box, but sluggish controls make the solution hard to execute sometimes. It is especially noticeable in a third area. Even after watching walkthrough it took me a couple of tries to complete it because things were getting stuck. Still, a very cool game! The graphics are very impressive for 72 hours!

Keep Him Alive by Lamossus 2020-04-23T12:49:12Z

@god-colo yep, the game is made on Monogame. It is rough sometimes but gives more control over how exactly things work than something like unity with a lot of stuff already pre-made, so that why I like it!

Keep Him Alive by Lamossus 2020-05-12T12:44:31Z

@whismirk forgot to put readme.txt in archive after updating, thanks for noticing. The song is Echoes of Time by Kevin MacLeod

Responsibility by BlueMirror 2020-04-24T06:21:04Z

Wow what a great game! The pacing is really nice, the game doesn't feel repetitive and ends just at the right time. The graphics are really good. The sound is generally good but feels same-y when you repeat action multiple times. Like other suggested maybe add random pitch change or multiple sounds that can play during certain actions And I think you have a bug with volume control. I made volume lower in the main menu but in game it went back to default value, so I had to do it again

Sisters' Lighthouse by imod 2020-04-27T17:53:09Z

The art is amazing and sound works rather well for creating mood. The overall atmosphere and the premise of the story seem really interesting but some choices don't really make sense for me and I'm still not sure why you get the good ending by doing what you do.

The Empty Cone by Acr515 2020-04-25T11:05:22Z

The best entry I've seen yet! The graphic style and audio really fit the game thematically and look and sound awesome. The main gameplay loop is really fun, interrupting your relatively peaceful life just at the right time with monster attacks. I also really liked how the game was handling feedback showing who is already being served

Now to some cons: - I felt like there was a lack of progression in terms of ice cream parlor. You can hire all 3 employees very quickly and both upgrades are basically aimed to make more money. Something like faster severs' speed, stronger mercenaries, cheaper repair costs would make progression feel more varied imo. - The combat generally felt kinda awkward. I haven't tried second weapon, but all others seemed to have rather small clip size with long reload times which didn't feel nice, especially considering how fast paced the game is otherwise - Maybe partially due to the last point, difficulty spike on day 6 felt very sudden. I managed mostly fine before, with monsters only maybe killing a few people but on days 6 and 7 I got completely wrecked.

I hope my review doesn't come of as negative, I really enjoyed your game but I'm kinda bad at describing what I like about things. Great job!

On Air by Beebo Studios 2020-04-23T12:02:11Z

Great game! Mechanics are fun, graphics are good, music is nice. But I think the level where ghosts first appear is a bit too hard. You are still learning the game at this point and the difficulty spike is rather big there

Open Fire! by Amazura 2020-04-23T11:45:46Z

The sprites and animations are veeeeeery good! But the gameplay is too simple and gets repetitive fast

File Survival by Probe31 2020-04-28T09:28:41Z

Nice game. Mechanics are simple but quite unique, interesting take on the theme as well. I wish difficulty would ramp up slower tho, it took awhile to familiarize myself with how the game works but at the very start I already had a lot of pop ups and other malware.

Also, don't forget to rate and comment on other games. You'll barely get any ratings otherwise

Let It Burn by lootgrounds 2020-04-21T13:28:12Z

Reminds me a lot of Little Inferno. A really interesting take on the theme. Works both as Keep Fire Alive and Keep Heritage Alive. I wish there were more consequences for burning valuable things though. Maybe make it so that at some point all of the items available to player are heritage items and force them to choose one to burn.

Also since you listed known issues I wanted to let you know, just in case: While it is against rules to add content until LD ends, you CAN fix bugs, you just need to provide change log of what you did.

Great entry!

Blazerunner by Raivk 2020-04-27T16:57:07Z

1.png2.png3.png

Oof, this took awhile but was totally worth it. So, why do I not show up on second leaderboard tho?

Now to feedback. I think it's pretty obvious that I enjoyed this game A LOT! If it was just the first level that would be amazing but THREE with THIS level of polishing? Graphics are awesome, audio is awesome and gameplay is awesome!

And now to some minor gripes I have with the game:

- Desperately needs a quick restart button. Purposefully blowing out your torch and waiting for all animations is so loooooooong

- Wind feels really inconsistent. Sometimes it blows full speed and I dash through it just fine and sometimes it doesn't even show and the torch goes out

- Torch throw range is too short. Some shortcuts aren't even worth it because of that, when you get close enough waiting for obstacle to burn is just way too long and it's better to take the usual way

As far as levels go I think first is the best and second is the worst, third being very enjoyable too.

Great entry! Loved it!

Robot Tale by Majadroid 2020-05-09T17:05:19Z

The art style and music are very cute! While the controls felt inconvinient I think it actually made the game more interesting, since you have to multitask more this way. The resources felt a bit unfair sometimes, not spawning anywhere in long stretches of land (or at least I couldn't find them) and ammo just felt unnecessary, since it was always abundant. I couldn't get to the end but still enjoyed playing

Goldsmith by Nocity 2020-05-09T15:05:35Z

The UI was very intuitive even without any text prompts. After clicking around a bit I already knew what I had to do. The gameplay is kinda repetitive but the game is short enough for it not to be a problem. Overall nice entry

Automata by WhatNameGames 2020-04-27T13:11:53Z

Very polished for a game jam! The robot designs are adorable. The puzzles are very simple but still nice.

Like others mentioned the platforming felt frustrating I almost quit after unlocking slim because I couldn't get to the other side of acid pool for quite a while. And grabbing objects felt really awkward, they seemed to just rotate randomly on pick up sometimes and I took way too much effort to orient them properly. And also in the first puzzle I managed to clip through the ceiling a bit using the block.

Full version sounds exciting, good luck!

Little Red Riding Hood And The Good Spirit Of The Woods by Nogam 2020-05-09T16:46:35Z

The graphics look very nice. I like the combination of 2D characters and 3D enviroment. It was kinda laggy tho, maybe look into lighting effects? I got occasional lens flare effect that didn't seem necessary and turning it off should make it lag less, for example.

The gameplay is a fun but a bit too simple, so it gets repetitive fast. The camera felt too close, I couldn't react in time when enemies appeared from the other side sometimes. And bushes could be highlighted just a bit more to make them more visible.

The audio is really good! Adds a lot to the atmosphere

Great game!

Prometheus by Nathan Dimmer 2020-04-28T15:46:56Z

Very nice simple game. The graphics are pretty good and together with sound add quite a lot to the atmosphere. I liked how there are different paths you can take creating a bit of replayability

Lights Out by Batswinger 2020-04-23T12:19:28Z

The atmosphere in this game is amazing! Dying sequence is also very cool! A bit more variety would be nice though, maybe some simple puzzles to get the keys?

Node Colony by gmaanicus 2020-04-24T06:46:03Z

The game was really confusing at first and I probably don't fully understand its mechanics even now. The nodes that can produce units seemed to be very rare, so it was hard to send units in time for enemy attack. Also selecting multiple units at once would be a nice addition. But good job on making an RTS for a game jam! It was probably really hard, and the result for a 72 hour game is very impressive! Are you going to continue development of this game post LD? I can see it becoming a really good game with some more work done on it.

Build with Haste by Fryer 2020-04-24T06:30:53Z

Good job on your first LD! The game is pretty fun, but I wish difficulty would increase faster, it stays rather easy for a long time. And since it's your first LD, a bit of advice: - Post screenshots of your game. I will attract more people. - Make a blog post on the main page about your game if you haven't already, this may get few more people to check out your game - I think you should've opted-out of humour and mood. It doesn't seem like your game has any jokes or is very atmosperic

Good luck in your future game jams!

Bakeneko no Ko by makkurataichou 2020-05-09T23:34:18Z

Great story, great graphics! Really liked the twist at the end, I hope I'll be able to see true ending. The game is already very atmospheric just from story and art but some background music would make it even better. Why does Tengu sell cucumbers though, if Tanuki runs the food shop?

To Thine Own Heart Feed Blood by civilianzero 2020-04-27T15:55:25Z

What a great game! The mood is just amazing! It was a bit hard at first but after a few tries I actually managed to finish it.

A few complaints:

- It was hard to find my way back sometimes. Maybe add some compass that leads you to heart when you have blood?

- The best strategy seemed to be to try to stay as close to the basement as possible which is a bit of shame, because the world looked pretty interesting and I wish I could have more opportunities to explore it

- The ending is veeery anticlimactic

Still nice entry. Good luck with getting 20 ratings!

COMBO I N F I N I T Y by Pakmanlie 2020-04-23T15:55:00Z

Super fun game! Haven't personally seen anyone interpret the theme as "keep combo alive", it's a really cool take on it! I didn't quite understand how cooldowns worked, sometimes I could attack very fast but sometimes I couldn't really do anything. It was also rather hard to hit enemy with W attack since I jumped and overshot it. Other than that can't really say anything bad about the game!

Genki by GOD COLO 2020-04-23T13:00:08Z

This game is very simple yet SO fun! I like how you can brute force your way through enemies if you are certain you can restore your energy in time for the next big wave, a really nice risk/reward mechanic. Nice job!

Prism of Science by DubDisk 2020-04-22T12:38:04Z

The graphics look very cool and I like the feeling of chomping on tiny people. But the platforming felt kinda awkward, so I couldn't finish the game

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Progress. by AidanMarkham 2020-10-10T13:42:17Z

Great game! Loved it! The use of the theme is very interesting. I wish puzzles were a bit more complex, since as of now it is quite obvious what you need to buy to complete them.

Don't forget to rate other games, or you won't get many ratings

@blind-lemon-games this is intentional. Restart the game with an R key

Chronolings by edomiyamoto 2020-10-05T12:51:24Z

Lack of tutorial makes the game unplayable. I click on the buildings in the build mode, my resources go down but nothing happens. Also, the game seems to be made for AZERTY keyboards but most people use QWERTY. Having an option to switch controls would be nice. As of now unfortunately I can not properly rate your game

Chronolings by edomiyamoto 2020-10-05T16:19:39Z

@edomiyamoto after giving the game another try I managed to finish it!

Some feedback: 1. After understanding it more, the theme implementation is actually really cool! Getting stronger with each cycle to beat your enemy is a really fun idea. Definitely could be developed into a full game if given some thought. 2. The graphic style is simple but effective. I liked it. 3. Even with your comment the game was kinda confusing to be honest. Maybe a bit more detailed explanation on the game page would help. I didn't realize that buttons at the bottom were upgrades for a while, for example 4. Conversion rate upgrade needs some tweaking I think. Not being able to clear rocks was one of the reasons the game was confusing. Maybe giving just a bit of conversion speed from the start could help with that. So player sees that tiles can be cleared only after conversion. On the other hand, one upgrade seems more than enough to finish the game. So I think lowering effect of a single upgrade would be better. 5. This is more of an advice for game jams specifically, not necessarily a criticism of your game. But it takes way too long for a game jam game. A lot of people will probably only play through one cycle not really getting to the core of the game. Not every one is patient. I think just lowering the prices could help with that

I hope I didn't seem too harsh, your game is pretty good!

Great game! Took a while to figure out how exactly it works but it was pretty fun once I got it. Some feedback: 1. You can use actions while animations are still happening and that allows you to kill/dodge enemy when it is supposed to attack but before attack actually happens, potentially avoiding damage you would recieve. Was that intentional? 2. Madness and corruptions tiles seemed to appear way too often. It is really nice thematically, making them unavoidable but that makes gameplay feel too random at times. I think making some abilities that control the board state would be nice. Something like: "Remove all corruption tiles in 3x3 area but gain madness for each of them" or something like that. Basically, keeps both of them a problem and makes them unavoidable but makes combat a bit more managable. 3. That happened only once but there was a 3 tile row on the board but it didn't count for some reason. 4. You haven't opted out of the audio category but the game didn't seem to have any sound? Was that a problem on my end? 5. Obviously some more guidance would be helpful but that's a problem for almost every LD game. But if you're going to make post LD version you should probably make some things more clear. Examples: make it clear which color is which resource, explain what + and - values near resources mean, explaining how corruption and madness work, make it more clear what affects + and - values (I assumed it was corruption and madness effects that changed them?)

The atmosphere is really nice. (Spoilers) Couldn't find the hammer that's near one of the buttons at first but managed to find it after a few tries. After finding all 4 for the first time I ran out of time just before completing the game, haha

tip for future jams, opt out of humour if your game doesn't have any

@zwodahs the game is supposed to close, you finished it. One playthrough isn't enough to see all of the interactions though, so if you are interested you could replay the game and interact with different things

Best entry I've played so far for sure! Usually when people make puzzle games for LD they make levels too easy because of a lack of time to think them through but this game seems really well designed. Still can't get my head around level 6

Cool concept, cool execution. I wish it would also show how often certain clients would appear that day, since without it, it became a guessing game some times on what you should and shouldn't refill. Also seeing how much of each product you have left while choosing a loop would be convenient

While collecting garbage only with your back seems interesting in its current implementation it makes the game more inconvinient than it makes it more fun. I think some tweaking of speed/accelaration/turn speed etc could improve it. Other than that, great fun game!

Pretty fun game and a nice interpritation of the theme. The rules are simple but work pretty nice. Felt a bit repetitive though especially since pull elements seemed to appear way more often than any other. Also felt a bit random at the end. Considering that pull 8 or 9 sometimes appear even if some one is leading by quite a bit the other could finish earlier just because they got lucky. Overall really great entry!

The style is really nice and the atmosphere is really great! But the theme choice is rather strange, considering this is a game about a record player, you would expect to see musical puzzles in the game, not logic gate puzzles. Still pretty fun

The Endless 8 by Jvdwijk 2020-10-09T08:32:46Z

Very interesting idea but it seems a bit too ambitious for a game jam. I managed to get enough information to kill the person on the first loop every time (and I belive I got every possible clue). The only time I was wrong was with the "This person lies about their child" or something like that hint but after I failed I knew the answer through process of elimination. Still a really cool game!

One of the best games I played so far! Last levels seemed too easy though

Loopy Glitch by fpoli 2020-10-05T13:10:16Z

Really nice entry! I like the art style, it's simple but still pretty good. The only complaint is that controls felt a bit unresponsive and I got stuck in a slope once.

Not really sure what is supposed to represent the theme here. Replayed it a few times but only managed to get an Alright Ending and I'm not even sure why. Also it seems that sabotaging doesn't spend time. Is that intentional?

Space Beans by Isac 2020-10-05T12:59:39Z

The difficulty curve seems very steep, I think if game became harder on a slower pace it would be better. Also, sometimes enemies spawned really close to the planet making it hard to react, which seemed kinda unfair. The graphics and music are pretty nice! And while your take on the theme is rather straightforward, it's not something I expected to see here, cool idea!

Best theme use I've seen so far! The game is really nice and relaxing.

What a fun game! The atmosphere is great, love your art style! I wish there was more variety between the levels though. And controls felt a bit unresponsive at times, maybe snapping left/right movement to only 3 lanes would make it feel better.
