I really enjoyed this game! I had a blast playing it, I think it would be more fun if you would not tell the player that the stuff they shouldn't burn is not for burning on the items themselves (this way you would need to remember what you shouldn't burn). One thing I wanna say that made me sad tho is that there's no sound in the game. If there was so, combined with some music and maybe a main menu, the game would definitely be a 5! Peace <3
This graphic is stunning! Maybe inspired a bit by little inferno, but you managed to keep the idea fresh!
Really cool art! Somehow, this game reminds me of the one I made for the jam too! Nice!

Reminds me a lot of Little Inferno. A really interesting take on the theme. Works both as Keep Fire Alive and Keep Heritage Alive. I wish there were more consequences for burning valuable things though. Maybe make it so that at some point all of the items available to player are heritage items and force them to choose one to burn.
Also since you listed known issues I wanted to let you know, just in case: While it is against rules to add content until LD ends, you CAN fix bugs, you just need to provide change log of what you did.
Great entry!

Sound is really a missing piece of this otherwise really nice game.

The mood and theme are great, but it didn't seem very challenging to keep the fire going while keeping the collected items. I think it'd be a great game if there were some balancing tweaks. Really good!

I really love it, the graphics are amazing! I wish I could hear the fire, and dont tell the player what to keep or not. Maybe there could be a black market where you could sell items you have kept but can only take a certain number of items a day. I love how the ui is intergrated with the boiler and the tutorial font and boxes looked nice. Great game well done!!!

As other have already said, the art is absolutely beautiful. Is there no music or did it just bug for me?
Either way, with sound this would have been on one of my personal top spots for this Jam.
The atmosphere of the furnace on visuals alone is incredible, I only wish it had audio - the sound of wood and paper going up in flames as pipes and machinery clank would fit this so well. Other than that, one thing I found was the game itself, while incredibly well done presentation wise, didn't actually have that much challenge - I didn't feel like the timer was too hard to work around, and when I ended up missing it I didn't really feel like going all the way through the levels to catch up to where I was again. Still, on presentation alone this game is fantastic, and I could see it being expanded into a longer thing.
The art was absolutely gorgeous. The shading was spot on and the animation for the text bubbles was incredible. Really polished stuff, playing it was so much fun. The lack of sound really impacted me, because hearing the fire would have been great. I didn't quite get the point of saving the art or books. The theme was really cool, and I felt more could have been done to have us explore the world.
It is a fairly calm game in terms of pace as is. I didn't feel like cranking it up to red had too much of a consequence, the time lost could easily be made up. Again, music could have helped push the theme on better.
That said, the lighting was incredible and really pulled me in. I point that out in specific because of the way, despite the lack of music, there was a creepy overbearing feel to the game. Enjoyed it!

I love dystopias! Very good concept. I liked to interact with the controls and read your texts :) I missed the sound, it will give a great atmosphere. Keep working on the game!

Great game, with sounds it would be awesome
Very well put together! The flow of the game is really pleasant and dynamic! It's really hard to put down once you get in the loop, it's oddly satisfying to burn all that stuff!

Great game! Getting Little inferno vibes, and dystopia on top of that? Count me in.

Awesome graphic! Sound would be one of the points that enhance the atmosphere. Great job!
Great graphics! There's a sick sort of beauty in watching the burning silhouettes of teddy bears...
Great Graphics! That game quite similar in visual with LittleInferno… But u've done a great work!
This was a really good one! The concept and visuals are fantastic. I love the way the instruction text bubbles look. The one criticism I had was that it was little easy. I was only ever served a precious thing twice and I never felt any pressure to put them in the fire. Great job!
Graphics are awesome and the concept is totally inline with the LD theme! But as many, I miss music ^^ To facilitate the mission understanding, it would be nice to have a box where we can put all the stuff that we could not burn. In order to bring some more fun to the game, we could also imagine burning stupid things. Anyways, nice entry!
Great job with the graphics, I did miss having not having sound effects but thats how it goes for a gam jam.
The hand made art in this one is just gorgeous. The mechanics feel very smooth and the game overall is very polished. However, I don`t know if it was just me or if the game really had no audio ... I could not listen to any audio, will try it again later to see if it was a problem on my end. Btw it cannot be overstated that the art is very good in this. The effects are also pleasant to see and make you wanna come back to it again. The take on the theme is simple and was often used in this ld, but you made it in a very well polished game.
Fantastic graphics and mood! Some roaring inferno sound effects would have made it even more satisfying to toss items into fire. The dystopian backstory is a clever take on the theme!
Hey! Played your game and loved the art style, lack of music was felt hard! Want to know if you plan on expanding here's the feedback, sorry for the late post, I got sick and had to take a break https://youtu.be/lRO6eo6fBbM?t=941
