A bit hard (yeah, that charging jump part !), the rest is good, reminds me of that game with a dino. You now have a good base for a game !

Very nice and original to the eyes !
That's original, a little speed up could be good as it feels like i'm in constant bullet time (good for aiming). IA is cool, level design too !
Congrats on your first game ! The concept is really simple, but you managed to do it, so that's great ! It's sometimes hard to get some rocks, but that's life. Maybe you should add some power ups to make the game more interesting (like extra size, extra speed or whateve's!) Good entry :)
I know it's supposed to be hard, but maybe some basic hints could help more players, like a help commands or something very basic to start ! However the idea is cool !
Interesting, this is an original concept for sure. Realisation is well done for this type of game !
Hey good job ! Dig the story (until the end?), a bit of "puzzle" thinking, music fits. Just a thing to do for the camera who moves a bit much, but it was playable (played the html5 version) You improved a lot since the first jam !
@Lamossus You're right, tutorial isn't done so I added a description on this page ! However you can control the camera with arrows on your keyboard (or press alt+shift to switch azerty/qwerty) Also you can only build on tile after you clear the rock, and I know ressources go down but heh hard to debug everything ! Hope you can test it !
@aterlamia You can remove rocks only after tile are converted to your kingdom (which you can improve how fast it is via an upgrade). I sure will set a tutorial next time ! And to answer about the cannon, it's like any building that cost wood, you put it on a free spot and then war truly begins !
@lamossus thanks a lot for your feedback, I agree with your points and will sure take them in count for a better version and/or next time. Also glad your finally like it :)
@wevel the automatic generation was a thing during developpment, but where was so much lag I had to reduce ressources production...so yeah, this idea is here, but currently it's..meh !
@captaindreamcast thanks :) Music was a real 3 hours of going on my piano, moving back to LMMS, adding note one by one ... Happy I made it in the end, and happy to know that players like it :)
@jamesor Done ! The WebGL version is now live, thanks for the idea ! Also I removed the bug that caused towers to not spawn enough things and added controls directly on the main screen since everyone ask. Other than that the game stay exactly the same, bugfixes only. No more update unless we work on it after the Jam !
@Rolly you rushed so well you didn't see the loop that's all !
Good mood, and also good job making a boss battle like this in such a few time !
That was really fun. Sure gravity does...things, but it adds well to the gameplay. Been flying around for much more time that I expected first !
Yay I just finished it ! Very cool mechanics. Figuring out what to do is really cool, animations are well done too !
So...getting stuck in walls, buildings, objects... while trying to figure out ways to escape ! Then did a lot of typing, gat stuck in door, retyping, gat stuck in a table, etc ! The theme is for sure here ! Couldn't go further, but the world is really nice, weird, but good !
Solid entry, everything is here ! Mechanic sure is original, level design is good as well !
I dig the concept ! This adventure was promising, however it's getting hard to hit ennemies from certain angles, the javelin disapears into wall or invisible collision hitboxes so we need practice to move on. Part of the adventure I guess :D You can sure polish this part in order to make a solid game out of this !
So does this happens after Stardew Valley ? :o Jokes appart, this is a solid entry, character movement not so clunky, collision is ok. Notes system is good and adds a lot to the immersion. Spend a little time finding the safe but not too long :) good job !
Wow, best 183 seconds of my gamer life. Very hard to control, but so satisfying. Made me laugh a lot, was really into it with that music !
That was fun, didn't expect a good little game like this :) Night mode definitively my favorite !
Animation is good, monsters voices is a bit repetitive so we really have to kill them ! Original mechanic as well :)
Hey good job for a compo ! Managed to find the hole btw. It's cool to explore this forest and mark down places. Bit of advices: -Removing torches is a good thing, but colliding when we place them while walking is meh. -A bit of soundtrack would add a lot to the mood, consider making something, even a tiny loop, so that players are not bored
And I guess that's it ! Liked it :)
@patrickjr Making music while not into it at all is a bit complex but not undoable ! For me the start was to get LMMS which is a free music software (and I do all my jams and even more with that). You can download things called "VST" on the internet for free who are basically "instrument" or even use it as it is. There are a lot of tutorial on "how to make a song in 10 minutes" on youtube, check it, train yourself a few hours, you'll get the basic quickly !
Feels like a weird dreamcast era game :) Concept is fun, realisation is good. Camera moves a bit too much with the mouse, but except that it's all ok :)
That's cool ! You've done a cool world by yourselves ! Also this sword is really smart I managed to not kill NPC :D
Pretty good ! Really like the effect of going back, visually and with the sound; the thing with button to dash into is quite cool. On a side note, be aware that there is a .exe that do not launch in your package, you should maybe remove it ?
Heya, just finished the game :) You've got a concept here ! Sorry to hear you could only make a few levels, but hey, that's the Ludum Dare ! We all try to start somewhere ! Hope you keep training !
Reminds me of Katana Zero with of course not the gameplay, but instead we have to most mortal hide and seek I've play !
It sure lacks a bit of animation and sounds, but the story is here, it's playable and the theme is here for sure !
Solid entry ! Been playing on hard, it's doable... at first ! Not spoiling anything but that was fun :)
Good entry! It's fun to test out all the ideas we can find on this peculiar island, and there's a lot ! Managed to get to the end :)
Wow very good ! Graphics and effects add a lot to the immersion, soundtrack is nice, and mostly the puzzle part is really well done !
I find it hard to understand what to do.. First time managed to get birds to back off a lit, refill torch, have a tiny bit of chat. But I didn't get it. I gave it a second try now (a few hours later), and I don't understand what's going on. I like mysteries and finding out what to do by myself, but heh this time I don't know. Maybe a bit of hint will help ? (Will come back for more !)
@meowmeowlitclub Thanks to you :) So I did try your bugfixed version and it's a bit clearer to understand what's going on. While the crow sound is still too much the game makes more sense now ! Also keeping player from going too far for nothing helps a lot to focus ! Good job to you two for making this small world in such a few hours !
Mood is here, controls are ok, the background track adds a lot to the immersion. Puzzle part is good too, we dig in the lore more and more after each restart. Very interesting !
That was fun, didn't expect that ! Feels like a David Firth game Had to read how to play but after that it was good :)
I didn't read the description and was expecting scary things, but when I did the first loop... Immediately though about the caretaker ! Very good job, graphics are awesome, soundtrack fit perfectly, story is well taught.. I'm amazed !
First review I give...erf. Maybe the intention was here, but if so you should add more "levels"
Hey, sorry for you @glao Hope you learned stuff during this jam so you can show us your talent next time :)
