LD39 — Running out of Power

Pipe Trek by quill18 2017-07-31T15:53:44Z

Awesome reimagining of Pipe Mania. I would've loved to see this given even more time to develop. Difficulty level increase is brutal at the moment.

Fluff Factory by Simple Ghost 2017-07-31T19:18:30Z

Can't seems to charge batteries as well. I love the aesthetics of the room design, and cold unrelenting, judgmental stare of the fluffs... This could definitely be expanded upon and become a full game.

Power Sphere by Sergey Nelga 2017-08-03T03:15:07Z

@modalmodule, power recharges when killing enemies, supposed to be a power orb drop to be collected, cut for time, it was almost ready. You can also recharge on enemies' power nodes.

About movement speed. It was meant to be as a handicap for more strategic gameplay, and would've been offset by implementing "force lanes" that will push you around very fast, visual function was already build-in into tiles to show travel direction. Had no time to finish it. As well as Level design (it was built in a hurry in the last hour), sound effects and music, destruction effects etc.

Despite all that it is one of my more complete games built for a Jam to date. Thank you for your comments.

Very nice style, responsive controls, pretty good AI. Could use more healing drops. And some mechanics to making gameplay more tactical.

Don't Get Fired! by Lazzor 2017-08-01T16:28:57Z

I loved the bumbling exploration aspect of the game. But I was completely lost after a few sets of buttons. Some kind of easy mode where you can put stickers, or mark somehow, "helpful" button would've been appreciated :)
