How To Keep The Dance Floor Alive? Answer: Alcohol by ultrarat 2020-04-20T19:38:52Z
Tad asset flippy but fun for a couple of games and a good interpretation of the theme

Really liked how the two different fishes had different controls. Would have been good if there wasn't a max level!
My main feedback is that the camera controls are pretty difficult to use, and that it needs more levels!
Great mechanics, I'd be really interested to see some time spent on levels with difficulty between that of the 2nd and 3rd post-jam!
I couldn't see to press the buttons?

The windows folder appears to be empty!
Unfortuntely, I encountered some physics issues whilst playing; I imagine some of the code needs to be moved to FixedUpdate(). Also I've found that mouse sensitivity is wayyyyy higher when you export to web; it's worth adding in some code to check which platform the game is running on so that the sensitivity automatically adjusts.
I'd definitely enjoy it more if the movement was orientated the same as the map
Glad that I wasn't the only one going down the plant growing route!
Nice memes, only thing missing is the restart button!
Really enjoyable, but damn it's a challenge when the terminals need repairing!
Do you have a link to a compiled version?
Really cool game, might be worth also adding an executable download as it was pretty choppy playing in a browser!
Hey, I think we made the same game! My main two critisims are the pacing (definitely need more time before respawns) and the controls being pretty tricky (making the player always hold down two directional keys doesn't work well, although I'm sure this would be fine on a controller)
Really like the idea and graphics, but as with other people I couldn't buy any weapons :(
What an ending, M Night would be pround
Hey @quantumjim, the link to sign up doesn't work! Really interested to see a game running in Jupyter, I started looking at building an engine in R Shiny
Would have been cool if there were branching dialgoue options or mini games needed to fix the machines! Right now it's not much of a game, just a video that you have to click to continue
Really enjoyed playing a similar game to the one that I made! A small change to the looping mechanic makes it a completly different game
Really cool graphics! Most of the levels are pretty unforgiving though, and it would be worth implementing long/short hold jumping to make the player feel more in control
Cool little bullet hell type game, artwork is great. Definitely needs more levels that force the player to use the loop mechanic!
I'm probably being a bit dumb, but I didn't understand what to do with all of the flashing ticks and crosses?
@devparty Time.deltaTime is your friend if you're struggling with movement speed! You could definitely make the game a bit more accessible by adding a global light to help people see, and by tweaking some controls (i.e. c to toggle crouching, and click to pickup/drop rather tan holding)
Nice little game that everybody could do with right now!
Nice little cookie clicker type game, would be cool to see some artwork to represent your actions
Cool idea, bit buggy as I kept getting hit by asteroids without warning. I think it would have been better if asteroids were the only reason why seats kept going missing, and that they didn't make them violently swing around.
Second time I've played an Excel game from a jam, I'm definitely considering doing one next year
Definitely a more interesting 'playing with your past self' type game than I made! Would be great to see some variety on levels and missions added post-jam. Definitely would have been worth changing the default background colour to add a quick bit of polish.
Ahh the genre that I wish I enjoyed but unfortunetly suck at... Got as far as giving the hobo a clean shirt, but really impressive level of polish all around!
Cool mechanic, very unforgiving though. It would be worth making some of the platform physics bodies a bit wider, and implementing keyboard and mouse support to improve accessibility. The music isn't an original piece for the jam either, so best to remove yourself from Audio voting.
