I appreciated how you were able to reinforce your theme by game-play. The repetition of the days was something you felt because of the repetitive things the game asked you to do. The first splash of color I found surprised me in a refreshing way, again reinforcing the theme of the game.
This game does a good job sending an encouraging message. Thanks for sharing.

When it became colorful I thought "woah this is cool!" And then the powerful message at the end totally elevated this game. It isn't just repetition for the sake of repetition but has a great theme that makes this memorable.

Really like how much story is packed in such a little package. Simple but really nice!
This is a simple but warm story and it encourages us to continue to live our daily life:)

I wish I learnt the simple lesson this game conveys earlier in my life :) Great job on expressing so much with so little!
P.S. Do people brush teeth before eating or after?

I really need to go pet a cat right now.
This is lovely. It really uses the theme in an effective manner to tell a touching and relatable story. The art style fit really nicely. A sountrack would have elevated it further, but aside from that I thoroughly enjoyed it.

That was beautiful. A very strong message told minimally. This spoke to me personally, as I've had this same sensation of being stuck in a loop and unable to see past difficulties. The first splash of color was so surprising and powerful, and also matches my personal experiences. Really lovely work, thanks so much for sharing this.
@eldar Apparently you shouldn't brush your teeth after eating acidic foods, since the toothpaste will strip enamel off your teeth. Otherwise, you should brush after. Though I only learned this later in life...
I'm not sure if it was a bug or not, but I think on day 4, I had nothing to do and essentially I was stuck. Either way - the art was on point, and the game definitely sent a message that resonated with me. I liked how I could very quickly do the routine once I learned it. I wish there was more content, and more of those "oh this is life" moments. Please flesh it out a bit more, it looks promising. Maybe I missed something? Thank you for the game.
Thanks everyone for the lovely feedback. It's been wonderful reading about your experiences with the game!
@ubershmekel There is more! I think what you experienced was intended. On Day 4 you're supposed to run out of tasks on the list but still have some energy left. There are a few different things you can do with that energy...did you try the cat?
I was worried someone would run into that problem though and probably should have added a hint if you spend too much time at the end of Day 4. Especially for a jam game where bugs are expected (and there definitely are other bugs...I just found one where if you press space a bunch while sleeping it skips a day :/ )
Anyways, hope you have time to try again and get the full experience!
Nice game!

It remembers me some kind of covid-19 approach of this awesome game of Molleindustria: https://molleindustria.org/everydaythesamedream/everydaythesamedream.html. Great job! Congrats!

I think this was really well done! I was hoping you would let me pet the cat and once you brought up the "little things" I was picking up what you were putting down. The splash of color was really nice! Good job!
Nice little game that everybody could do with right now!
This really brightened my day! :smile_cat: Loved the charming graphics, simple gameplay and the message behind the game was very nice. The splash of colour was just the perfect effect, not just because it was pretty but it also suddenly clicked in my mind what I was supposed to do to get out of the loop. Great entry, one of my favourites so far! :smiley_cat:
