The movement is super finnicky but the idea is great and the game is pretty fun.

Music is Spirited Away cyber beatboxing!
Very cool mood though, perhaps too much text at the start, controls not so pleasant.
I love the art for this. The movement is nice being grid-based, but it feels a shame that the shooting isn't also based on the same grid. Frantically clicking to shoot enemies felt at odds with the art style and exploring... I wonder if removing the shooting and having to physically evade enemies instead could've felt more cohesive.
This looks very professional. Man let me tell you I played this game for a while as it's very well made, here are my notes:
**Things that I like** - very good execution, from into to the end it felt that someone experienced worked on it - fit to Ludum Dare theme - perfect background music and sound effects - gorgeous art
**Things that could be improved** - As I was moving right game was occasionally stuttering, I feel like it may have something to do with generation of objects? - after a while I figured out that I can just run trough enemies and just pick up med-kits, that made them non-interactive and little bit empty. Maybe add feature that they would drop some loot on kill?
Overall this was one of the better games that I decided to review and I am glad to do it
I appreciate the grid movement but would prefer more freedom. I liked it
I loved your game it looks awsome!
beautiful concept and it feels like it was created with a lot of care. the writing was good, the music was fitting, graphics were nice... overall impressive, congrats :)
Good entry. I liked the style of the game in general and the story was built out well enough which you don't see a lot of with other entries so nice job. The controls were fine but what I had trouble with was the balance of the game. It seemed like I ran out of energy too quickly for early game. A bit of polish on that and your on your way to a great game!
I think the movement isn't that great, but overall I loved the idea and the mood of the game, pretty cute art and music great job :D
I really liked your game. Fit very well on the theme and is very well done. Good job!
I think I might have preferred WASD-based movement to allow you to dodge while shooting, but overall it's still quite polished and fun to play. Also has an appropriate level of difficulty to trigger that "one more run" reflex. :)
Like somebody else, I also noticed occasional lag spikes.
Very nice game. I really enjoy playing it. It is fun setting and a beautiful graphic, also I like a shooting mechanic! Great job, thank you )
I like the graphics, music, and writing. What put me off is the control scheme, it's a little bit confusing. I believe if you made something simple like WASD+Mouse to shoot it would be better. But other than that, it's a nice game. Great work!
Controlls is little bit hard, i think arrows movement and shoot with mouse would be easier.
Anyway art is nice pieace of pixel art :) Soundtrack is good also :) Good work, nice entry :)
Very good game. Controls are a bit weird, but still very fun
Loved the art and the music. Very satisfying sound effects too.
LOVE the art style
Wow great entry!
First of all, the movement + shooting mechanics was very interesting. I would usually expect this to be top down controls with cardinal directional movement, having mouse movement with free shooting seems very interesting (Good work on the pathing btw).
Art and music are good.
Also I found it really funny that when I failed my human "dried out" that was a humorous touch.
I think if you ripped the theme out of this and designed it around a different objective it could be a very fun commercial game.
This is fun! Great intro. Combat was quite satisfying. The movement had an interesting robotic feel to it - just had trouble figuring out which tile I would click on sometimes. Also found it to be a bit more on the challenging side right out of the gate. Loved the huge environment to explore. Would definitely like to see more!
Enjoyed the game but dislike the progression system here. Would of been great to break this game up into a few stages where you progress on a small stage. This felt more like an endless scrolling game. I walked right for a few minutes and had no idea where I was going.
That being said I love the graphics, gameplay and sounds. Love the grid-based movement and the challenge of finding batteries, health and water for a robot haha. Anyways good job! Would like to see this game worked on a bit more and released for play with tons of stages.
Great art style and the music is masterpiece
This is difficult. You can't see far, and need to watch for three different resources. But graphics are pretty and you even write a little story for that. Great job!
Nice pathfinding! I'm thinking it would have played better as a twin-stick style shooter. I love the pixel art and the music is catchy!
I like the story! The graphics were pretty neat, and i loved the music. Great work!
Very nice, I don't have a mouse (don't judge) so I was a bit out of luck with the defending side of things. Nevertheless I enjoyed the oldschool feel of both the design, the theme and the way to approach naration. I like the design and I thought the idea to show the path of direction layed out on the ground was a nice touch. Well done.
Awesome game, I really loved the art. I did find myself wishing I would move with WASD
The art style and music are very cute! While the controls felt inconvinient I think it actually made the game more interesting, since you have to multitask more this way. The resources felt a bit unfair sometimes, not spawning anywhere in long stretches of land (or at least I couldn't find them) and ammo just felt unnecessary, since it was always abundant. I couldn't get to the end but still enjoyed playing
Good unified graphics style, which looks nice, i liked the sound effects and music. The game lacks a background outside the location and a more thoughtful creation of objects.
