And we are done!
@wheybags Thanks for the feedback, I have added some hints to the text. You are correct there is no sound, but I forgot to opt out of audio and I can't change that anymore.
Decent platforming fun. Took me a while to figure out the purpose of vines
Good fun, I liked the exploding doors until I accidently ran into one. I would have liked the death scene to be faster
The lighting and mood were nice. The voice over added a lot to the repetition
This is really slick. I liked the mechanic but at sometimes it was not obvious that a move was allowed.
@miej what controls are you trying to use?
@jk5000 That is a good point. There is nowhere to go in that first map screen, so the only option is to push 'ENTER' to enter the first settlement.
@wheybags The shark is an endurance fight. She takes 20 bubbles, so you need to preserve and not be careless
This was a very nice experience.
I wanted to go back and hunt for secrets on pictures I missed but didn't find a way to easily reset or advance levels
A great experience, very engaging.
Ran into a bug on the second playthrough where I could not pan the camera and all the interactable objects were offscreen to the right.
This was a neat management game. Liked the theme, liked the curve balls that events often threw at you (damn brewers).
Really need the ability to pause after an event so you don't get stuck in a loop of clearing the event and it instantly repeating (i.e. running out of beer)
A nice little game, nice sound and art. Could use some more feedback on when you hit the beat well and when you miss a beat.
Nice little game. The atmosphere was great, made for some jump scares as I got deeper.
Took me ages to figure out that you need to hold RMB to mine, an onscreen prompt might be an improvement.
This was fun.
I liked the rope mechanic but failing to execute it properly meant all my dwarves would get stuck. It might be nice to have someway to get them out of a hole (like a ladder) so your run doesn't end too early.
Fun times, satisfying sound effects.
Could not quite figure out if I needed the guy alive. Eventually got stuck under some boulders, might be nice to have a suicide option to restart.
Took me a little while to understand what the game over mechanic was, but it was pretty neat once it clicked.
Good Job
Love it! The base volume is a bit loud, pity the settings did not get hooked up
Thanks for the feedback. The control system did not come out great :) I was wiped out after submission so the page did not get a lot of love.
Ill update the page with some actual instructions
Sorry about the difficult controls, really struggled to find a good way to control both robots. Ill add some more details to the page.
I never figured out quite what I was doing but it was pretty funny running around looking at all the crazy bugs.
No, was stuck on the second building
Nice art and feedback. I had fun trying to figure out how to get out of a corner when I had the wrong color beam.
A fun little game, got hectic in the end. I like the feedback on the drag and dropping
Sorry I could not get the controls to work. Tried moving with w,a,s,d but the cube just sat there
A very interesting puzzle mechanic, I liked it. Nice art with a good visual layout
Neat game. Loved the graphics and the roll was very satisfying.
Loved the theme, its a neat little idea and game. The wall of text instruction were a bit much, probably would have worked with a few pictures
Neat game. Looks good, runs smoothly and I liked the rescue mechanic tied to night and day
@foursay the game is embedded on the page, just click the play arrow at the top of the page. For better or worse I committed to trying out the web based build this time around. It was pretty easy but it caused a bunch of UI issues on some screens.
This was fun, struggled with the controls but got into a groove eventually. Well done!
A very soothing game, nice and intuitive.
This was just, great loved it. Got stuck on one of the later sections, but I am coming back to get it later. Awesome job!
A fun little game. A little difficult for my likings (only made it to 5/15 farms after a few attempts) but it was well polished, good art and on theme. Well Done!
@killrane Hey someone else has played Fantasy Zone, it was totally the main influence for the gameplay. I appreciate the feedback on difficulty, but since there is only a couple of minutes of content, we figure we should draw it out a bit with some challenge.
@terylangosh I think I did add a lifetime to the bullets but clearly it was too long. Thanks for playing!
Super polished entry, Art was great a couple of minor UI bugs but great job. It would be nice to inspect the enemies as I could not figure out if the different types had different capabilities
That was a neat little puzzle game. The rules were intuitive but I think there needs to be a little more agency to prevent you from getting stuck and ending the game.
Fun entry. I really liked how you stop on the fallen enemies it provided a great sense of progress and achievement
Decent little game, I was not able to storm the castle unfortunately :) Struggled a bit with the mana economy, would probably like a second ability to deal with the groups of enemies
Well done on your game. I played through 3 waves and liked the concept and your take on the theme. Bought all damage upgrades that I could, but have to say I didn't notice any difference in combat.
Nice little game, It took me a little while to get the movement, but I liked how responsive turning was. One improvement would be to allow the camera to look ahead of your ship so you can see the enemies before they start shooting you.
A nice little gaming experience, however I got stuck trying to cut the potatoes. I eventually just feed them raw potatoes, they were surprisingly happy about it :)
@jp-design Thanks for playing! Probably won't continue the project, it was a good little learning experience in Tiled Art and quest chains.
@leking Good idea, that would have been a nice little helper for the quest system.
This was fun, I especially liked trying to lob the boxes from the middle of the screen. I found trying to get to the 'R' key to release was a bit cumbersome as I was holding down 'E' for movement. 'left shift' would probably work better
It was a neat little idea, but I could not figure out how to remove stamps to place on other letters. I also saw stamps on the other side of a letter, but couldn't figure out the flip.
A addictive little game. The core leaping is pretty satisfying and the challenge themed areas were neat. A little investment in some visual effects for jump, death and respawn would add a lot to the core loop.
One thing I would add would be to maintain horizontal movement after hitting and sliding up a platform. It was frustrating nicking the corner of a platform and losing all forward movement and plummeting to my doom.
I appreciate all the feedback, especially about the slow turn speed! I wanted to make the lich feel old and ponderous, but I might have taken it too far
Neat little game, I liked the mechanic of pulling sharks in to block the torpedoes.
Neat game, appreciate completing the full game. I like the combination of reverse gravity and the other abilities, it was a nice touch
Neat little idea, liked the music. Was a bit difficult to figure out how to get started and it would be nice to automatically close others windows
Stylish game, liked the music and art. The quick time events were an interesting mix-up, but I really wanted to float left and right.
Loved the chill mood, the music really created a good atmosphere. I was also impressed with the level of polish, the snake tail and particle effects were solid.
Thanks for playing!
The defence phase is very under cooked, I did not get the resources hooked up or proper spawning.
As for the windowing issue, I am not sure what to change. Full screen seems to work though
Thank you all for the feedback, we are surprised how much people like the βblah blahβ.
Apologies for the bugs and the lack of time, as @prunus-padis said we tried to cram in a bit too much.
Thanks for the playing everyone and for the responses, I am glad some people managed to get over the clunky controls and difficulty :)
The difficulty was meant to force players to engage with the Signal system but I guess I missed the mark.
@railnof well done persisting through a pacifist partner, that must have been a challenge!
Neat little entry, I loved the premise of killing everything to send a peace message. During my playthrough shoot wasn't damaging the enemies, so it became a game about running as fast as I could.
Very beautiful game and the audio was great. I struggled to move through the player experience and eventually got stuck without a cursor or back-space key while solving a morse code message.
