I like the core idea behind the game, but it's incredibly difficult to control the ship. Spent most of my time spinning out until I figured out that I could abuse pressing X to force the ship to a complete stop. With some tuning of the movement I think this could be a really fun game.

The idea is very nice, i liked the simple 3d graphics, music fits very well into the setting. Controls are hard but with pratic you can learn.

Now, there are some bugs, sometimes my ship get werid velocity after using x and stars fly very fast. Also is very hard to tell wich way to go, the green triangle have all equal sides.

With a little more time to polish, I guess this all could be fixed.

Great entry, congrats.

There's certainly something here to explore as a momentum-based space repair service bot. Boosting to my next job and seeing the stars fly by feels nice, would love to see a fully fleshed out version of this that had more intentional uses for the movement style. For now, I found spamming boost/stop to be the best way to fly, and rarely needed to use my movement to complete jobs. I saw a flash of something special trying to tether to and slow down a rapidly spinning ship, I think with some more time to refine the controls and create creative goals, this could be a lot of fun. Nice job!

Nice entry! Liked the graphics, audio and dialogues, they were funny :3

I think it's been pointed out already, but there's a bug where if you rotate the ship immediately after ending a boost, your ship starts accelerating really fast in a different direction (see top left):

Seems like something to do with how it decelerates from the boost?

In any case, I like your entry. I'm a big fan of games with this style of spaceship controls (Gravitar probably being my favorite), so this scratched that itch. That said, I agree with the feedback so far that the ship is a little hard to control. I think it could be good if tethering actually physically anchored the ship, without needing to maintain heading towards it (maybe at the cost of requiring the ship to get closer). This could give the player a bit of a rest from micro-adjusting the ship. If that makes the game too easy, maybe traversal between job sites could be more challenging? Going from place to place is a bit bland in the current state... asteroid obstacles could be a nice addition, for instance.

Being forced to restart the game upon failure is a little punishing, but I figure this wasn't a deliberate choice. Implementing functioning save states is way harder than just sending the player back to the menu, so I imagine you just ran out of time. Still, worth noting! It'd be cool if restarts were on a per-mission basis.

The dialogue + sprites were all very fun! I love the characterization of the player robot as super amicable and "okie dokie", and it seems really fitting. Being old tech, I like to imagine it's an in-universe product of a time where artificial intelligence was very eager, but perhaps not so capable. The spinning spaceship guy also got a laugh out of me, lol. Overall, great work :)

Cool idea with the space repair jobs, nice music. The ship controls could use some work, but the idea has a good potential

Blam, boosted right into the space station :D heh oops
