Pretty fun. Definitely gets a bit stressy after a while, but the difficulty curve was nice. The visuals were nice and the music contributed to the atmosphere. Overall a very solid game.
It's fun! This game is very addictive)
It got easier when my brain finally made a connection with all of the symbol pairings, but it definitely got hectic trying to manage and prevent that one ingredient from pushing the potion over the edge. I would have killed for a shelf to set the ingredients aside on. Potion mixing is fun, awesome work!
The idea is really fun, and like both visuals and music. I will say the game gets difficult really fast. But overall a good and interesting little jam game. Well done.
I liked that it felt like it fit the theme because of how it's mixing stuff into a potion and balancing everything out, but also how I ended up with a huge load of boxes on a treadmill panicking trying to figure out which ones I needed and which ones I should toss into the air to buy me some time! Such a fun game.
@arkinrev did you find the lantern easter egg? Hehe, thanks!
@jk5000 I was worried if it was too easy it might get boring since I didn't have the time to pull in any more mechanics (surprise surprise). The game has a deck/card rng system under the hood so the difficulty should come and go a bit, but the decks do get bigger and bigger, and the conveyer does get faster and faster (to a point). O:)
I fun little game, well executed.
Nice idea.
The game is a bit confusing, but once you understand how to play it isn't bad. 4/5
After three attempts, I finally understood what to do, I don’t know how I didn’t understand right away, the game is quite intuitive. I liked the block shadows, they create a pleasant atmosphere. It was a lot of fun to play, great job!
A fun little game, got hectic in the end. I like the feedback on the drag and dropping
Simple but the execution is great! Though it took me a while to figure out what's going, overall very fun game!
Solid game! I didn't understand it at first but once grasping it it was very fun. It might have been nice to split the game into levels, i.e. having the first one with just two ingredient types and then progressively increase. Great job!
The idea and realization is great, I liked the graphics and soundtrack. The only issue, as was mentioned, it's a little hard to understand what it going on instantly.
Great game. I was a bit confused at first, but soon learned what to do. The difficulty increases nicely throughout the game. In the beginning I was tossing ingredients in the pot across the entire screen, then I had to start throwing some of them in the other directions and in the end I was even blocking everything on the conveyor belt with an ingredient in hand (not sure if that mechanic was intentional) until a good one appeared.
The game looks great and the music is nice.
It's fun! I had several attempts that went bad quickly, before I realised that I should be making use of my ability to hold back a lot of ingredients, and put things on top of the lights. I got much higher scores and it's more fun. Easy to understand and surprisingly tactically interesting. Looks and sounds very nice too!
When you say deck/card rng system do you mean that e.g. a lot of fires now will get balanced by water drops later? I did sometimes feel like I was lucky! Thanks for doing that :)
@reheated exactly! You're guaranteed to get the symbols you need eventually, and as the game progresses that eventually gets longer and longer. And each time the deck draws all the way out the game bails you out a little bit (actually there are two decks dealing at the same time, but when one ends things should be more balanced). Thanks for your kind words, glad you liked it! :)
I had wanted to put in levels, some explanation of how things worked, and growing numbers of symbols, but ran out of time. This was my first ever Unity project and I installed it a few hours in so a lot of my time got sucked into stackoverflow and youtube tutorials haha, but it was fun to make! Thanks all!
