I liked it, the graphics were cute ! but it needs more combinations because it were a bit repetitive.

I liked it, the graphics were cute ! but it needs more combinations because it were a bit repetitive.
I think that there are too many projectile cells. The rest is great
At first i thought that i had to avoid the bullets (i should read what i have to do first xD). I liked it but i'm so bad at it! i couldn't even reach 100 point :(
I love it! Everything was great but if i could change something i would make the stones a bit smaller, sometimes it's hard to avoid them
Everything is nice but i would do the levels a bit shorter or maybe the movement faster.
That was fun and i likes the graphics, but it was more difficult than i expected
Good work with your sandbox!. If you continue with the development, you should try to improve the gravity or maybe add more options.
I tried but it doesn't seem to work for me (i'm holding the up key but nothing) :(
It's cool but sometimes it's a little unfair because the oxigen bubbles aren't dropped :(
I like the idea but i was confused. What is the goal of making the planets? I think you should give more information and stats about everything. However i liked the artstyle and the graphics too
Too much lag for me but it was interesting. I really liked the graphics!
I love it but i couldn't beat the AI xD
The direction of the boat sometimes is confusing for me but it was fun
The only bad thing i can say about this game is that i can't pause and close the game, i have to lose to do that. The rest... everything is perfect for me: animations, graphics, music... Very nice job!
Nice work! But i think that it was hard because of the controlls. Also the other planets move too fast. However i like the rest
Nice work! It is not perfect but it is your first game. I liked the concept of the controls (but i'm so bad at it xD)
Nice job with the graphics! i like that you can hit yourself but i think that the movement is a bit weird.
Everything is to fast for me. However i liked the music and the graphics!
@fatpenguin @diknows I'm sorry, the game didn't end. It's a bug (It shouldn't end until you lose)
@kubad well there was going to be a lot more of options, enemies, and some atacks but the time was a problem
Good job! i didn't understand the concept at first but i like it. I think that the friends are cute
A little tutorial would help a lot but good job!
I had to play vs myself but it was fun! (omg the explosion xD)
it is really fun but also a little easy. Some buildings are too cheap and give too much power but i know that kind of things need a lot more time than 72 hours
The game is fun but some levels are too hard. it would be great to have a restart so you don't have to wait until you die :)
oh i love it. The music is great and it's very addictive but it seems that there is a bug. You can get stuck in a rock and you instantly lose all you energy, so you lose all that money and it's a bit frustrating. But overall it's great!
it's a weird game (but that's good!) I love how the music changes depending on the situation. I went to a planet full of lights and it was really cool ^^.
One of the best game i have played here! Great graphics and it is really fun to play. At first it looked really hard but it was fine. I also like the sound effects (especially waliking :o) I would change the aiming system ( maybe with the mouse?) it is super weird :s
The first levels were fine but then it got too difficult and it was a bit frustrating. But good job anyways ^^
It's really fun but everything is super quick and it's hard to see the enemies (but graphics and sounds were great )
Actually i got scared with the first sound effect, it was too loud but i guess it works? xD Anyways, nice work
@Avon Yes, it's supposed to be left click. Sorry :) The game is easier if you keep clicking the crystal as much as you can and not when you think you need it
@shinmera yes , i know, actually it was going to have a sprite but it looked weird :( Thanks for playing!
@cenullum no, the highscore is 19894 by @ixous
HMM maybe i don't know how to play it. In your gif you drop the battery and you keep flying but i die super quickly when i do it and get another one is hard. The graphics are ok, I think it would look a lot cooler if the dirt had a texture (even a simple one)
The graphics and sounds were really good. i didnt really like the bullets, they were too slow and sometimes it was difficult to aim. But overall excellent
Some of the upgrades were too powerful (at the start you are super weak, then you buy the power regeneration and sudenly you are super powerfull, but then you find stronger enemies and you are weak again. But overall, it was great! Great music and great grafics. (i died like 5 times casting my spells xD). Nice job!
This is a great game, and it's also very funny xD! For me, everything about this game is perfect
wow, the movement is weird and it made the game a lot harder but overall is really fun. Also the character design is really cool and the music is catchy ^^ Nice job!
Really nice graphics! There is (at least one, i don't know if there are more) a enemy that you can kill easily by staying in a corner ( the one that flies in circles)
it's really fun but it's also **really** slow. But i got the hamster :D
it's a cool idea but it needs something to make it less repetitive. I got 105 cats in orbit :) (poor cats)
"Go to the Bar in the light" i should have read that instead of trying with all of them every time xD The game is a bit repetitive but it's creative. (in the karaoke why "QWXZ" instead of "QWER"?)
@wilco i honestly don't know how what could be the problem, i have tested it many times (html and windows) and it works fine :( . Basically you keep stacking upgrades until it gets hard to control
@criggles in the first version there was a mana upgrade and the basic mana was 3 but this made everything too easy as every upgrade has to have something bad .
thanks @talia @adrenallen and @exezin , it seems that everyone likes the jump xD
@arkia skip upgrade = -1 life
@wilco Thank you! the skip upgrade is supposed to set your max health to 2 (the first time) and to 1 (the second time). It's fixed now
i think it gets really hard too fast. But it's funny and the music is great! (i am a little jealous :s)
Even though i finished the game (after using alt+f4 severeal times because the cursor disapeared) there were a lot of bugs:
* I couldn't use the A and the D * The music stops after 30 secs or something like that * Some enemies can fall on you and kill you instantly
But i got scared the first times so good job
I love this game. Great music, nice graphics... but :
* it gets repetitive after 10 waves * some waves dont give enough money * you can't move a unit once you placed it
But knowing that this was made in 72 hours it's a 10/10  (well maybe the theme is not really correct hmmm)
Really cool and funny! The game looks really good with simple graphics (which is nice). You can burn a lot of calories by pressing S many times when you are small, but calories eaten are harder to get
ooh cool concept (but i'm really bad at this type of games xD) great job
broke 0, left 50 :) some people have already said it but, yes, the game needs to give more information about prices of an object, its weight, how much a box can carry and a more consistent collision(maybe even using a grid)
it's a really solid game! just a tip: next time try to keep every pixel at the same scale. for example, the pixels of the floor are way smaller than the rest, it makes everything look a lot more proffesional! (but don't worry too much about that, it's not that important)
@balance686 actually you earn money per second, but you earn less money the more snow there is. At first it was going to be that way but it made the game too hard to balance.
@ectucker1 i wanted to do that! but didn't have time unfortunatelly.
@swift i said it in "how ti play" it was the best, i didnt have time for more :s
@mrsylar59 ACTUALLY i didn't kill the cat, you did  (my first idea was to make the cat explode (but he was going to survive, the explosion wasn't going to hurt him) but didnt have time to make a good gameOver xD
cute artstyle!, the only thing i didn't like is having to start all over again every time i die(specially if it's easy to get stuc
the combination of the buggy cats and their sounds made it really creepy and funny ate the same time xD (i liked it tho)
@adrien-dittrick oh wow, this is really... something :s I just went bed right after presing publish without checking if everything was right
I dont know if you are the one who """"played"""" the game and rated it, but if it was you, i ask you to try it pls
Pretty simple but a nice ~aesthetic~ can compensate basically everything. Maybe speeding things up after a while would make it better tho. You can actually (at least in the browser) make the root go outside of the screen where it doesn't seem like there are any rocks so basically you can just go as far as you want. That being said, good job!
the link doesn't work (404 page not found) It is your first game jam so maybe you forgot to publish the game on itchio? (or it's private maybe? idk) be careful :)
Everything looks and sounds really well. It's pretty simple but that makes it easy to pick up and that's good so good job! The autofeeder is too good tho. With lots of them they have more than enough food
didn't load the first couple of times but managed to make it work spamming f5 Although hitboxes could be a bit smaller, you achieved the feeling of speed and controll that this kind of game needs. Amazing job.
@oliver-richmeier oh woops you're right, fixed it! Thanks for the feedback!
i think this might be the game with the best mood i've ever played in ldjam! It's easy to pick up the mechanics of the game and a (creepy) death animation it's a nice adition that is not usually seen. Some hitboxes could be a little smaller tho. good job! :)
The idea of implementing a genetic algorithm for a jam is really cool. I have to say tho i think that the days are too long. But it is pretty original so good job!
wow it was so fun i think i beated the game(? But can you actually buy everything or is it just going to add zeros to the price? xd Nice job tho
The aesthetics are quite clean! The theme also fits well and the gameplay seems fun although i had a couple problems. For example it's hard to know where to aim and (i think?) sometimes the enemies move differently. I guess making everything more deterministic would be really hard tho so it's understandable. Good job!
this game has a kind of mood that i think i have never seen in ludum dare (i mean it in a good way!) good job!
it's really hard but doable so that's nice. Good job! I think the ship slows down too quickly, so if you are close to an object, speeding up and turning arround to get it is not easy but that's just really a nitpick so again, good job! :)
who doesn't like a farming game? The movement is a bit slow but overall is fun! Also making your own engine is really impressive. good job!
looks fun but unfortunatelly it does not work for me. It launches but then black screen. Maybe i did somethign wrong? Windows 10
The game has a couple comunication problems, specially the controlls. I also was a little confused because i didnt't see the "winning condition" and i didn't understand why i couldn't use the door. (i managed to win tho)
That being said, the game is really cool overall. An introduction with voice acting is unusual for a jam game (although being a team helps a lot i guess). The mechanics are fun, the music is really cool, and the mouse is cute.
so in short i really liked it and good job!
Wow this game is actually really well done. I played it in PC but i can see why it's also available for android. The graphics/aesthetic are suited for this kind of 'mobile' game (minimalistic and all that stuff). The controls/movement also was consistent which is nice. My high score is 116 i don't know if that is a lot (i think it is(?)). I've found that the most viable strategy is to wait for the outer circle to be smaller. That way the objectives spawn near of you so you can chain a lot of them and get a good combo. I'm prety sure that's not the intended way to play but i think it's fun (and quite impresive to be honest)
Having so many endings and options in a jam game is not easy, good job! The items are a little hard to see tho but maybe thats intended(?
@rincs the ticking noise should be working fine but i wouldn't be surprised if playing it in browser might add some delay. Either way thank you for playing ^^
@jeremy-ryan woooooooooooow (????) no one has ever drawn fan art of something i made.. I really REALLY appreciate this it is super cool. And obviusly thank you for playing my game!
Hi, saw you kinda struggling to get 20 ratings i hope you make it in time ^^' It's really hard to get the cows only by moving arround but once you get how the F button works it's actually really fun to play. Good work :)
cool game! Got all stars and it is fun to play so congrats!
jojo reference nice Honestly really impressed by the camera movement. Good job ^^
Placing all the turrets for the future is fun and can lead to interesting strategies and gameplay so congratulations on the idea, i think it's really fun. I would recommend using at least a royalty free music or basic sounds when placing the turrets. Playing in complete silence can drag down the whole experience. Good job tho :)
simple but fun, good job!
your first game is a lot better than mine was so, congratulations. The camera movement and walking animation were super smooth too. Nice work!
jumping around is fun. Great movement ^^
One of the best entries i've played this jam. Art is really good, fun to play, easy to understand, nice music, works well and no bugs found. I was playing in "hard mode" because i didn't see the trash can at first and i had to make a lot of swaping around haha. Nice work!
roomba gameplay Actually the movement is nice and i didn't expect the worms to be like that... that was scary(? The second patch of spice was too sparse and took too much time to collect Good job!
Looks good and the level design is really good! I did struggle with the A/D turn left/right but you can get used to it. Everything works relatively well and it's well polished. I think you all make a great team ^^
(also i've been following @tricky-fat-cat on twitter for a while and finding you here feels weird u.u)
The graphics are solid and consistant, good job on that!. The controls are a bit weird, and i think sometimes the click doesn't work properly (although i'm sure it works better on the post-jam version). Overall nice entry! it's got personality and that is not that common in this jam
impressive graphic style for a compo entry. Had fun but i clipped though the floor while exploring the area. Good job! ^^
one of the best dialogs i've seen in this jam. Most people disregard them but theese are nice. Nice puzzles although i think i skiped one haha. Good job!
Really good job! The sounds blending with the music is nice. The movement is confortable and responsive. I would have been nice if the the golems got progresivelly stronger or something but overall nice game ^^
once you understand how it works it's actually pretty amusing. Nice job!
it's the first time i've seen so much work put onto the introduction in a jam game. Super cool! I've always liked this kind of games and the "C"s are so funny (although a little dumb because they all kept trying to enter the same tents and ended up sleeping on the floor)
didn't understand it at first but wow, the concept is really cool. Kinda like a farming rogue-like! Also, the animation/movement of the pumpkin guy is really cool Good job ^^
i was not expecting that with the drunk mode haha it was fun. Art also was on point. Good job ^^ More movement or types of drinks could be fun!
This is actually really fun to play! Physics based games are always fun and you nailed it. The graphic style also goes well with the vibes. 10/10 for me ^^
The pizza flavours having different powers can be a fun mechanic for a bigger game, so nice work on the idea ^^ Graphics and sound on point and everything works really well (which is not something so common in this jam xd) Nice entry!
i had some trouble with the controls but the intro/tutorial helps. Be carefull with the collisions. Otherwise it's fun and the movement is great so -> Good job! ^^
The game itself is really fun but at the same time really frustrating haha. Jumping and dying because of a bird offscreen is cruel... but that could be fixed with a little indicator. I'm getting some nitrome vibes maybe? anyways, good job ??
@ryn yeah, it is actually on purpose haha. In our tests, if we made the paw go on top of the grid, it is too big and couldn't really see what you where doing ^^''
A lot more tension than i expected haha. That guard sure is blind tho, i should put up at least a poster or something like that ^^. Also let me punch the guard!!
wow everything in this game is really well done! i find it amazing that everything works so well, it has so many levels and so many mechanics... I know you are 6 people but how do you even organize? very nice work. One of my favs this jam for sure.
Nice work. Everything responds really well, there are many levels, it's fun... I'm confused why such cool pixel art for the levels but the menus are simple unity default options? haha
Oh, almost forgot. Making it so it follows the rhythm is really cool.
Nice work on your first entry! i'm asuming you made the sound effects yourself?
wow some levels are reaaaally hard ^^' i hope it's not based exclusively on framerate. Is the character based on something? it look eerily familiar. Haha nice entry
it's a cool interpretation of the theme ^^ I know time is limited but honestly, if you were to add some sound efects, i think it would already be a solid entry. Nice work
i came because of the dancing cat but it was fun haha. A rhythm game in such little time is not easy, good job! The detection needs a little work but wasn't really a problem since you have a lot of "health" ^^
Got all 5 of them!
Sometimes making an small but polished game is better than trying too hard. Great job, really liked. Even has a little of storytelling(?
It starts too fast haha but i got to resist untill i ran out of space. I redirected everything to the middle and then put all the traps there. Not being able to put a trap two times in the same place is a bug, right?. Anyways, nice work.
i was NOT expecting the house part haha! it's a fun combination. I love the transition between both scenaries with the glowing mark and all, i love those kind of details. The gameplay is fun, but i would love a little more difficulty and maybe some music. Other than that, i liked it. (btw, the ending screen with the cat super cute ^^)
I also really like that filter you got there. How is it called? The game is fun! it would've been nice to hace some indication on how much the demons have left but it wasn't too hard so wasn't really a problem. At first didn't even notice it, i thought it was one of those "just destroy everything but demons" kind of game and i would've been fine with it haha
Good job
Good things: voice acting is really cool, and the help option is really helpful! Also some of the actions in the puzzle were fun and i really like this kind of "scape room" puzzles Bad things: Kinda confusing at first, the mood mechanic is kinda weird, and some interactions were kinda weird so sometimes the most efficient way of playing is trial and error. BUT this is a game jam and there is not so much time, and i've made puzzle games in the past for jams and it's frustrating seeing people not understanding the puzzle haha.
In general i think it's a nice entry so nice job ^^
hmmmm i liked it a lot. At first i thought it was a little empty but then i guess its that way on purpose so you can go really fast. The movement is really cool once you understand it. You can abuse the double jump and climb everything if you want tho. The tower-like structure and general vibe reminded me of the tower in Pathologic. Really cool.
I finished the game and i have to say that this kind of storytelling is not my cup of tea but having voice acting in a jam game is refreshing. So nice work to the writers/VA ^^. The way the sword shrinks when crouching, although hillarious at first, looks weird haha.
Also, i killed one guy in the first floor and was specting more in the way up but didn't see any more. Is there a lore reason for that? or just development? i would've loved having more enemies. Not in a fast combat - souls - doom kind of fight, but more. Anyways nice work.
honestly one of my fav entries this jam so far. i'm really impressed with the amount of different monsters, sprites, effects and music in such a short time. Congratulations, really! I beated the game and i must say that i think the white flower (don't remember the name) is really OP
Really original and fun. I played first the download version and didn't know why i was losing so hard... Then i read the coments and saw you explaining that the web version is better balanced and yes, i won first try. You might wanna add some warning haha. Also at first i thought this was some kind of voice recognition game haha. Good job
It's a good game, i had fun, just needs to be a little more clear. The main problem, as others have already pointed out, is that it is too visually clouded. More contrast between units and background would help a lot. The sound does become a little too much but i have to say that they are fun and do carry the information of who is spawning and dying. I see the map is procedural and i love that. Would be cool if you added something like % of map you control.
Nice work you two ^^
i came for Paralax, Cats and 22 snacks and i got that. It's a small game, not much to do, but it is indeed relaxing. I stacked a lot of cats, they are funny. Next time, add an option to pet the cats ^^
The beam cat is REAAALLY broken haha. Just activating and recharging him alone is enough to stay for a while. Would be cool if the units moved a little by themselves. Music and art 10/10. Love gnarpy uwu
it's a small game but i did have more fun with it than most others. The way it works is satisfying. Felt kinda sad for the little "plates" (i thought they where holes haha)
I know this was your first jam and you worked alone, that alone is a lot!, but next time try to add some sound to the game, any kind of sound. Even some "click" sound every time you click is enough to make the game feel A LOT better. Because other than that the game is okay! Simple concept and it works. So good job!
great art and great gameplay. I like the concept, although an objective other than survive would have been really cool (it's a jam tho, i know). A couple weird hitboxes from the enemies, ended up dying because i think enemies spawned near where i was?. Rats tend to get stuck but i think thats cool because i think rats would be all clamped together near walls? idk i'm no rat ^^ Nice job
i'm gessing that you are a professional team or something because everthing is really well made haha. If i have to nitpick i guess the main gameloop is a bit slow once you know what you have to do. And because the is just one orb of the color you need, it's easy to see where it is. But this could work as a small tutorial if you plan to continue the development. I wish you luck if you do so. Nice work ^
I like Pico8 games and i think this time's theme goes well with Pico8's vibes haha. The game really does remind of arcade games. The randomness of where will the sparks go keeps you focused (cool!). It's not an easy game tho haha. I thought the wires without insulation would make the whole area dangerous but i guess that would be too dangerous. Anyways, nice job!
I love seeing hand drawn art that isn't pixel art... It's harder to make it look right so congratulations! Also i love cats so hehe (i finished it!)
being a guy that likes to program engines and systems, seeing a game made in a c++ custom made engine that runs on web in a jam amazes me, incredible job with that (also 3D!). Does the engine include things like AI for agents or is it more of a graphics engine?
The problems: the mouse input is off while on fullscreen and it could have a little more feedback while doing things. For example, selecting which unit you are comanding, and maybe swaping that selection with the tab key.
Went to the second floor with too many workers and not a single soldier and had trouble with the first ant haha had to reset.
In short: nice job!
The characters reminded me of that Atlyss furry game haha. i found really comical the animation of "they lost their mind" and the head going up, i really didn't expect that xd. The amount of content (graphics, characters with rigging and all that, the systems in place, etc) is pretty high for a jam game, specially if you are alone, good job with that!
Some thoughts: Some levels do take some time to load but i guess that's a html's version thing. The jump/leap being unable to fall in the hole is a nice touch. You know what would be very cool (although i understand it would be expensive in terms of time"? A map, even an schematic one in a tile map. Also a "return to last portal" would be nice so you don't have to walk back in case you encounter a door you have not opened yet. I would suggest adding sounds and effects next time, even some basic ones. Makes the same game look and feel so much better with very little effort. It's worth adding them even if it means making a couple less levels!
In any case, nice job and nice entry!
The windows build works fine!. I think i got all the possible endings ^^. I also tried to get to the daughter directly and i did find her but you can't interact with her. It would have been a nice "easter egg" but i understand that there would be too many variations haha. The movement feels nice and things are at a nice scale. A couple effects like fade-in/fade-out for the history would be a nice adition. Nice work!
Heh, got it first try. Nice job!! Honestly better than i expected, more rooms and characters than i thought there would be. Graphics are simple but you seem to participate alone and the 1 and 2 point perspective look nice. The overall aesthetic remind me of Façade. Inshort it's a small game but it's well made, which sometimes is better than a bigger game than barelly works. I think i get the theme but i'm not so sure there(?)
In anycase,, nice work and nice entry! ^^
Hey, that's a really nice game, and made everything by you? nice job man! It is more of a base for something bigger, but like others have said the loop of digging->get resources->buy upgrades->descend->repeat is fun enough! I would encourage to keed developing this idea!. Did you develop the "auto" pathfinding or is it some kind of add-on library? i love to program this kind of things but the limited time oftens leads to me avoiding this kind of things.
Others have said pretty much the same, zooming out would be cool. I would suggest iterating through the different dwarfs with the tab key or something. ALSO, i didn't know how to go to the next floor. I know i might be kinda dumb but the button HIDES when the dwarf is set to auto, so i thought that maybe i had to clear the floor but obviusly i didn't(?).
Anyways, nice job!
The graphics really come through as really artistic-modern-abstract(?) probably not the right words but they look really nice while being really simple, congratulations! The combination of 2d and 3d looks really good!. On the other hand i had a couple of bugs i think? the heart with the thread seems to stop going down.
Anyways nice job! extra point for the cat 😺
"u died lol" xd
Really _digging_ (😜) the close ups/portraits and the style overall. Do the enemies move 100% random? Had a couple of unlucky movements haha. The progression is cool and fast (which is good for a jam game). Overall good job! i have to say, next time try to throw in a couple of sounds and animations like fade-ins and fade-outs. It REAAALLY makes the same game feel better! In any case, nice job!
This is a nice and solid idea! A lot of different blocks and tools too. A couple of sound effects so it feels good... Impressive! Got the midas touch first item and was confused as to why wouldn't i just farm gold but then i saw that there was more tools and how the actions work. Maybe each tool could additionally have different costs? Nice work!
@croxx Hi!, so that's not really the intended gameplay. We've added more description and a gif where you can see how to play. You have to move the other "antenna" to the destination. The destination, for the tutorial event, is Korma. This is said in the messages themselves. Would you please give it another opportunity?
Hey look, we share game name
@anatei hi! actually, you can restart the text just by removing and placing the receiver again. It's easy to miss tho, the tutorial doesn't mention it haha. Anyways, thanks for the feedback!
@ribout-horace @talan-huszk @skoufakis @croped @rainot @andrian @vladimperator Thank you all for playing! Specially those who reached the "end"! There IS an "end" screen, and it's supposed to appear once you end the "story", but, because the game is somewhat long, we couldn't test it properly haha ^^' .
As for the 360º dial for the angle, it was limited on purpose as we didn't have time to make the screen sprites properly loop before the deadline.
Thanks for the feedback!
@jahwffrey Thanks! you've been the first one to notice (or at least the first one to say it! haha). We wanted to also make it so you could see the smoke or something on the screens when a city was destroyed, but didn't have time!
