nice take on the signal theme, literally aiming the signal on a map is a cool idea. got stuck at "output antenna to destination" tho, tried tuning and nothing happened. unless thats the point lol, radio silence and all

@croxx Hi!, so that's not really the intended gameplay. We've added more description and a gif where you can see how to play. You have to move the other "antenna" to the destination. The destination, for the tutorial event, is Korma. This is said in the messages themselves. Would you please give it another opportunity?
Hey look, we share game name
@chispalbc hey sorry for the wrong take earlier! played it again and got the mechanic this time, my bad lol. tuning two antennas and relaying messages feels pretty cool actually. played for about 20 minutes but didnt reach the ending, the core loop started to feel a bit repetitive after a while. maybe some progression or variety could help? noticed towns exploding randomly which was a nice touch but not sure what triggers it. funny thing, i actually found your game because my own submission got "-1" added to the url, guess yours already took the slug haha. good luck with the jam!
This is the best thing I've seen so far! It's seriously awesome! A perfect fit for the jam theme!
Hello, how do I find an HTML5 link?
I really liked it, but it was missing some kind of meta-progression. There needs to be some reward for placing the signal set up — lore-based, monetary, or something else. Also, I missed the ability to re-identify the receiving point. The game reminded me a bit of Beholder in terms of vibe. The concept deserves further development — good luck!
Cool game and nice take on the theme^^ I really love the Mood/Setting and also the Controller.
I'd suggest you, to distinguish input and output cable (+ Controller UI) by different colors and it would be cool if you can rotate >360°. Also the signal should loop. I also got stuck on the first destination and only found your comment with Korma :P
But awesome what polished game you got in the time. :)
@anatei hi! actually, you can restart the text just by removing and placing the receiver again. It's easy to miss tho, the tutorial doesn't mention it haha. Anyways, thanks for the feedback!
The mood for this game is pristine! I love the analog feel that you get by only using mousewheels
My first run I destroy almost all cities and no message was sent anymore. I restart and try to follow the second plotline, but it was really really too slow. I like the feeling and mood but it's become a little too long in the end (and yes, the ability to make the button go full 360 would have been cool at least for the "angle" button)
The game is fun to play. The visuals and the sounds are really well done as well. You've managed to capture a really nice eerie atmosphere with the audio. My only feedback is that the knobs are a bit difficult to rotate, but besides that good job!
Really well done entry. I get a bit of Papers Please vibes which is nice. I played until only 3 locations were left standing to see if anything happens in the end but i guess that wasnt possible given the timeframe^^ or did i miss it? Still a great job overall!
Very good game, I enjoyed the storylines. I had come across an issue that late into game I stopped having signals of who tries to contact and I had to brute force it by checking a lot of places. I think I reached the end (destroyed all bases), but I expected some type of feedback and I was kind of dissapointed. Graphic and vibes are top notch and in general it's a great game.
I really enjoyed playing as a signal officer! As a former military person myself, I truly appreciated the theme and how you handled it. It felt engaging and resonant. Great job!
I destroyed all the bases but there was a lot of waiting between signals in the end game. Also some kind of end screen would be nice. Nonetheless the mood and the art were top notch, the core idea is great and I could see it expanded. Great entry!
@ribout-horace @talan-huszk @skoufakis @croped @rainot @andrian @vladimperator Thank you all for playing! Specially those who reached the "end"! There IS an "end" screen, and it's supposed to appear once you end the "story", but, because the game is somewhat long, we couldn't test it properly haha ^^' .
As for the 360º dial for the angle, it was limited on purpose as we didn't have time to make the screen sprites properly loop before the deadline.
Thanks for the feedback!
Unfortunately, I seemed to get soft locked in the tutorial where it wants me to use the scroll wheel, but stopped responding to the scroll wheel after moving the thing a tiny amount.
Gorgeous, and the vibes were tragic and terrifying! I also adored the accurate-to-overhead out of the window view seen when scrolling the pointing direction of either antenna. Nice work, and very interesting way to tell a story.
@jahwffrey Thanks! you've been the first one to notice (or at least the first one to say it! haha). We wanted to also make it so you could see the smoke or something on the screens when a city was destroyed, but didn't have time!
Brilliant, really enjoyed it. Amazing art, amazing atmosphere, no notes.
This game gave me the chills!! Such an amazing game, the audio, grahicsm story, just WOW! I think it could really be a big hit right next to papers please! Its just brilliant i have no other words for it :fireworks:
Nice graphics, great idea, and very cool overall fill from the game. Great job!
Seems like I'm stuck at tutorial.
It tells me to turn the input camera towards the signal. The signal is on the right, so I turn to the right - nothing happens. I turn left very slowly, then all the way back to the right - again, nothing happens, no next step in tutorial.
I'm not sure where I'm pointing, as I can see more cities on the landscape than on the map. I tried restarting the game twice and nothing changed. I tried to mess with the second dial without success. I'm lost. Any suggestions?

Wow! I like the mood of transmissions, nice touch! :cross:
@mcbaker
Hi! What build did you use? Is it HTML5 or the Windows one? And if it's HTML5, what browser are you using? Thanks a lot!! :3
HTML5 at the top of this page, using Chrome
It’s a really well-made game! I like the way you have to control the knobs, and the art style is great.
