cool dynamic game with character progression
very good, i like this graphic style
Очень приятная графика — навеяла тёплые воспоминания. Поймал микро-флешбек, ведь моя первая игра была похожей)
very interesting game with cool mechanics, I say as a sapper nerd
fun game, i stole everything for second time
cute shop vibe and the art looks great. honestly didnt get what the stars actually do though, i zoomed in, looked around but couldnt figure out how they tie into the records. ended up just setting everything once and spamming records for customers. definitely needs a bit more guidance on the main mechanic. got 261.48 btw nice work
I did something similar at another jam, and I think it's a cool idea. It could use a clearer objective and some progression. Also, the matching tolerance should probably be a bit lower — it's quite hard to align those sine waves perfectly before hitting submit. Still, it's a very chill game.
So, I got stuck in this game for 30 mins, well done! It’s a simple loop but very addictive; a classic incremental. The variety of upgrades is good, but it’d be cool to have some for the bike too. Also, instead of just upgrading digging stats, you could add different pickaxes with unique attributes. I’d also suggest tweaking the digging mechanic; right now the loop feels a bit broken when you just toggle 'farm' with one button. Maybe add some simple procedural generation so ore veins actually run out in certain spots?
really creative take, you control the wave and not the player which flips the whole "fly through rings" thing on its head. didnt make it far by my own skill issue lol but the concept is great
simple and chill idea, nice music. got bored pretty fast tho, the gameplay stays kinda the same the whole time and theres no progress bar or anything to push you forward. maybe some variation in patterns or visuals over time could help a lot. good base tho, nice audio work
The wifi repeater puzzle concept is clean and fits the theme well. Art style is charming too. Hit the same reset bug as everyone else though, router spawning with 0 signal on restart is pretty annoying. An undo button would also go a long way. Good entry overall!
the oscilloscope deckbuilder concept is genuinely creative, composing waveforms to score listeners is a cool twist on the genre. ui feels a bit rough around the edges but the core idea carries it. nice work!
The death screen alone had me — "your family has been notified and will be working extra shifts in the foundry to compensate the Ministry." The morse code interception concept sounds genuinely interesting, and the overall presentation is really polished for a jam game, art direction and voice acting all feel coherent. Nice work, comrades.
The oscilloscope wave-matching mechanic is a neat fit for the theme, and the retro PC aesthetic ties it all together nicely. Gets a bit thin once you realize the loop is just match wave, type message, buy upgrade, repeat. Still a cozy way to spend 20 minutes. Nice work!
nice take on the signal theme, literally aiming the signal on a map is a cool idea. got stuck at "output antenna to destination" tho, tried tuning and nothing happened. unless thats the point lol, radio silence and all
@chispalbc hey sorry for the wrong take earlier! played it again and got the mechanic this time, my bad lol. tuning two antennas and relaying messages feels pretty cool actually. played for about 20 minutes but didnt reach the ending, the core loop started to feel a bit repetitive after a while. maybe some progression or variety could help? noticed towns exploding randomly which was a nice touch but not sure what triggers it. funny thing, i actually found your game because my own submission got "-1" added to the url, guess yours already took the slug haha. good luck with the jam!
The concept is charming and instantly relatable, stacking random stuff to catch a signal at grandma's place is very real. Managed to clip my way to the top which felt accidental, but maybe that's just me. Missed the dialogue at the end so not sure what happened next. Janky physics aside, the atmosphere is genuinely cozy. Nice work! Жаль что на даче до сих пор не ловит нормально;)
Honestly, I have no idea what's going on, but it looks insane! Those surfaces spinning around me create a really cool vibe.
pretty standard TD where the only nod to the theme is defending a radio tower and some wifi boost zones. slow enemies, slow scrap income, not much happening on screen. would be more interesting if u could at least sell/reposition towers. not bad for a first jam entry tho, gg
the atmosphere in this one is really something, aiming the antenna at your own window and getting a signal back gave me actual chills. got a bit lost finding the dyson sphere near the end but the hints saved me. funny enough my jam entry has the same name lol. really cool entry, nice work!
The game has a great western vibe. I was hooked immediately because it doesn't have a lengthy tutorial. The game loop is easy to pick up, but it keeps you engaged enough so you don't get bored after 3 minutes. Nice work!
@ace17 Thanks for the detailed feedback! Footsteps were on my list, but I didn't have enough time to implement them. I totally agree about the door squeak and radio static — SFX would really pull the atmosphere together. The cryptic ending is partly intentional and partly because I ran out of time. I'm glad you liked the atmosphere!
@hotaloca Thanks! It is not a full horror game, so I'm glad you liked the atmosphere. About the battery: you need to carry it to the terminal and press E to place it. No need to charge it. Let me know if it's still not working, maybe it's a bug.
@paulmag Thanks for the feedback! That part was not clear enough, so I just updated the page with a hint section under a spoiler tag if you want to try it again. Short explanation: There are actually two frequencies to tune. The note gives you the first one, and you have to find the second one by watching the oscilloscope.
The TV labyrinth section looks genuinely cool, that kind of visual works really well for the atmosphere. Short but it lands the mood. Would love subtitles though, easy to miss story details without them. Solid UE project, nice work!
visuals are genuinely impressive for a jam game, unreal engine doing its thing. but i had no idea what i was supposed to do, the ui gives you almost nothing to work off, just symbols with no real explanation. got killed a few times pressing random keys trying to figure it out. with a proper tutorial this could be something, the atmosphere is there. good luck!
cool concept, love that the signal theme is baked right into the mechanic. but i think there might be a framerate bug, my call health drops to zero in like 3 seconds and i couldnt make it past the first section. might be tied to high fps? couldnt really test the game because of that. the art and vibe look great from what i saw tho, hope you can figure it out!
Neat puzzle idea! Recreating sound patterns based on beam bounces is really creative, and the second portal adds a cool twist. Short but solid, would love to see more levels. Nice work!
cute pixel art and the "searching for signal in space" framing is sweet. the platforming itself felt pretty standard tho, got stuck on one of the levels and kinda lost motivation to push through. might just be me but i think the levels could use a bit more variety or a unique mechanic to carry the signal theme into the gameplay more. nice music choice btw
Genuinely addictive loop, the permanent upgrades between runs make you want to keep going. Lifesteal feels a bit too strong though, once you get it the rest of the build barely matters. Connection to the theme is a stretch but the CRT aesthetic carries the vibe. Nice work!
can confirm the knife bug, got trapped too lol. build is also pretty heavy. nice visuals tho
