@tanjou I'll try to find someone who has a Mac and make you a version for Mac.
Yo, that was very nice! Design and art are great. Special thanks for that amazing dub! really good story and narative. amazing for the jam like that. Now on the other hand there are some annoying technical issues, but it was just a little a problem - camera clips and goes through the walls; jumping feels a bit uncomfy; when starting to run, character and camera move forward with the animation, but it should stay. Overall I had a very good experience.
Very atmospheric and an interesting storytelling. Also the game is very beautiful, I like the aesthetics. Maybe adding some glitchy or more "artistic" transitions between level would have been, because the transitions are a bit harsh and can break the immersion. Adding subtitles would have been great too, or at least inform that playing with headphones is adviced (I'd even say mandatory here), subtitles could also help for people struggling to understand english. I'm not sure I fully understood what the story was about, I guess it's to be expected with games like this, at least it was intriguing and I enjoyed discovering the different stages and ambiances. The televisions corridors work really well visually, I loved it. Maybe something more creepy, like eyes in the screens appearing when the girl is nearby, could have been a nice addition (though maybe a bit too cliché).
Anyway, overall a solid entry! Congratulations!
@denikk @saering Thanks for feedback, It was my first time making project like this, I wanted add this staff like transitions and subtitles. But I didn't know how. I thought I'd figure it out by the end, but I didn't. I spent the three days with YouTube open trying to figure out how Unreal works) I hope I'll add it soon. Thanks for playing, I'm glad you liked it.
The TV labyrinth section looks genuinely cool, that kind of visual works really well for the atmosphere. Short but it lands the mood. Would love subtitles though, easy to miss story details without them. Solid UE project, nice work!
Wow, this was pleasantly unexpected. There are not many storytelling games around but this really delivered and the voice acting was very well done. I liked it it a lot, reminded me of some oniric parts of max payne 2.
Well done! I'd like to play more of this :)
A truly brilliant creation! I absolutely loved the visual contrast between the little girl and the oversized furniture, as well as the unique presentation style of the TV. Narratively, the emotional progression through the three questions was masterfully done, especially the callback between the TV falling at the beginning and the ending. You clearly have a natural flair for game storytelling—I’m deeply impressed! I did notice some minor clipping issues during scene transitions. Also, I’m very curious about how the voice acting for the girl and the Reaper was produced; it fits the mood so perfectly. I’d be extremely grateful for a reply!
The biggest surprise I've played in this jam!!! I could really feel the ingenuity and the carefully crafted details in your environment design! I don't know if you've had any training in screenwriting, but I think you are a narrative genius!!!
The story itself is quite simple, but the way you told it is incredibly clever. The foreshadowing with the falling TV in the first act, the contrast between the little girl and the giant furniture in the second act... I even noticed how you specifically added a guide to remind the player if they try to jump without a running start. Then there are the three progressive questions in the third act that slowly build up the emotional tension, culminating in the relief and emotional release of 'you are a good girl.' I absolutely love it~ And the fact that you did all of this by yourself—I'm practically your fan now!
Also, I'm super curious about how you did the voice acting for the male voice and the little girl. They sound absolutely spot-on. If you have any tips or tricks, please do share them~
If you're open to a little feedback, I'd recommend looking into the camera clipping issue. During scene transitions, because the spawn point is right in front of a wall, there's a split second where the camera clips through it. There are a lot of ways to fix this minor issue, like moving the wall slightly further back or adding some constraints to your camera script.
Regardless, as a Compo entry, this game is simply brilliant. You are incredibly talented, and I hope you had fun making it~"
@garyglhf @yanruyi @snk @croxx Thank you very much for your feedback, i'm very happy to hear that you liked it, especially @firefish for such a long and detailed review.
Genuinely surprised me - the atmosphere is haunting, voice acting is great and the story is simple but told really cleverly
Wow, it's really beautiful and atmospheric. To be honest, based on the cover, I wasn't expecting this at all, but it's much better.
Oh, i would love to see whats up with little Lain ... errr ... Mina!
Is it possible to upload the game as a web-export? :)
Absolutely stunning atmosphere! ✨
@tanjou Added Mac version for you, It was hard)
A really solid narrative experience. I enjoyed it. A small, tragic story about one girl. The voice acting is well processed and suits the characters. The visual style is clean, nothing feels out of place.
Personally though, I wouldn't spell out what happened to Mina so directly - I'd leave it open to interpretation, or nudge the player toward the answer without stating it outright. But that's just my outside perspective.
Good work!
Based and lainpilled, looking forwards to playing this when I get home today ! i can already tell that it's peak
i swear i have had this profile picture for years on the ludum dare website so the odds that i play this game and see that is actually so insane. it literally became like a meta game i thought it was actually about me or something. very serendipitous. fun game, i liked the vibes
This was quite the story telling! I'm glad you put the effort into a mac version <3
Although it was short, it definitely had a spooky feel and a sad story. The voice acting was impressive. Nice work!
awesome game, I absolutely love it! bug report: this place is somehow passable. I don't think this is expected behaviour.Screenshot 2026-04-24 083457.png Screenshot 2026-04-24 083240.png

Fantastic entry, well done! Very atmospheric, and I loved the narration. The game oozes style -- you are very talented. There are a few minor technical issues (you should tie the jump sound to some sort of jump event, rather than to the spacebar, for instance) but they didn't ruin the experience or anything. Seriously, great work!
Great story and graphics! You can walk right through the TVs without glass—I don't know if that's intentional or not, but there's nothing interesting behind them. If you don't press E in the first room to exit the collider, the E button won't appear later.
It's a pity there's no game here) but it looks beautiful. I passed the game by the way
Wow that was something! The atmosphere is so dark and deep. It reminds me of Little Nightmare and Little Misfortune. The music is chosen perfectly and voice acting is so good. The artstyle is also very nice. But what's especially good is the story. I really had goosebumps when I reached the end of the plot. Love this game!
I've finally played this, and I'm quite surprised by how well you managed to make a short horror story with such impeccable presentation. Of course, the gameplay was simple, but it engaged me enough. Also, quite superb voice acting! I also tried to do some in my game, and I think it really adds to the jam. This became one of the best games I've played this jam, congratulations for the work. I'm looking forward to your next projects.
I couldn’t not play your game, I absolutely loved the aesthetic.
I probably would’ve added subtitles, although I completely understand how difficult and time-consuming that can be, especially for a solo developer.
As an experience, it was really interesting and it left me wanting more, which I honestly think is a very good sign. It feels like the kind of concept that could grow into something even deeper and more ambitious.
And of course, the Lain inspiration/references make everything even better. So I’ll just end with this:
Present day, present time... HAHAHAHAHA :tv:
