I like the train theme, and I think it's an innovative idea. The overall mod for the game is awesome and really draws you in.

Great western vibes. I really liked the way you interpreted the theme, and the whole idea of checking the trains is genuinely cool. It feels like one of those concepts that could be expanded. Nice job!

-Mom, buy me “Papers, Please” -No, we already have “Papers, Please” at home “Papers, Please” at home:

Seriously though, it’s a really addictive game.

the train theme and western vibes are awesome and really draw you in. the whole mechanic of checking trains is a super cool and innovative take on the "papers, please" style, but light source is a little bit smol

Really well done, I think there's room for more games like this. I'd like to see this expanded, having the ability to search through crates, for instance. What's really missing is a day timer and the instant feedback about whether you made any mistakes. What made Paper's Please so good was the time and money pressure along with the tension as you let someone through and had to wait to see if you would be penalized or not. I think adding that element would make the game more compelling.

"Papers, Please"-ish game, but with Wild West atmosphere and trains. Actually quite nice, has a potential.

Really liked the atmosphere and gameplay (It seems a bit too repetitive at the end tho)! Good job :thumbsup_tone1:

I jumped in front of a train. I died 👍

tinykidtoo 2026-04-23 16:52

I really like the vibes. I wish there was some more pressure, like a timer that fined me if I went over an inspection. If you had infinite time, maybe a stow away who bribes you. But I did forget to close the door many times. Maybe some auto doors

I paid off my debts! Interesting game. Despite its simplicity, it’s really engaging. It made me want a bit more cognitive load. Maybe you could add tasks like inspecting something outside the train car, where there might be a stash, or similar little objectives. Or maybe a timer would help, not sure. Still, a great game.

The game has a great western vibe. I was hooked immediately because it doesn't have a lengthy tutorial. The game loop is easy to pick up, but it keeps you engaged enough so you don't get bored after 3 minutes. Nice work!

🤠👍👍👍

It was fun playing this game. I love the atmosphere, as I've watched a lot of Westerns, and it's captured well here! The sounds are very high-quality, and I love how the ground shakes when a train arrives, haha. Someone has probably already mentioned this; it's not really a downside, but rather a way to improve the game: I'd like to immediately see how our decision, whether to let a train pass or not, affects the game. For example, a fork immediately appears where trains that didn't let a train pass stop, or something like that. Otherwise, it's as if my decision has no effect and they all go the same way, haha. (I think in games like Papers Please, this is very important, in addition to the rewards, etc.) The game has great potential!! COOL IT! I have the fastest hands in the goddamn wild west.

Nice western vibes here. Just one thing: If music was self made, was e-guitar a real fender telecaster or not? :D

shram 2026-04-24 18:40

The music and the idea are not bad. But the monotony ruins everything.

nexusasx10 2026-04-24 20:24

I like the atmosphere. Art and music are awsome. Didn't really understand what to do with closed crates. Almost every train has them. But I finished the game anyway. Good job.

This game is style. This game is a vibe. This game is Django Unchained from Arstotzka.

eeva 2026-04-24 21:24

I thought the graphics, sound and general vibe of the game was cool, even though the gameplay got repetitive quite fast. felt more like busywork than enjoyment in the end, even though i had fun in the beginning. you should consider different rules/mechanics to keep the checking of trains interesting throughout the game :)

shakirovich 2026-04-25 07:37

Enjoyed the game, bottles of moonshine got me cracking!

garyglhf 2026-04-27 12:03

здорово, атмосфера передается очень хорошо, музыка приятная.

cataclysmicknight 2026-04-30 18:23

Great work! I really enjoyed checking out each of the trains, and even though I didn't end up getting any wrong, there was still that stress of "please don't let me be owned by the railroad company!" 😅 The endless final day was a nice touch, too, as was your allowing players to walk around the desert, the audio, and the rumbling of the screen as trains came and went.

I'm also SO glad you wouldn't allow the trains to be sent without closing the door, because I forgot that almost 60% of the time!!! 🤦‍♀️

ava-skoog 2026-05-05 18:39

Very cool and atmospheric! Enjoyed it a lot.

Mostly intuitive to understand, tho I was never able to figure contraband out, as I never saw any enclosed crate that I thought looked different from the rest, so the first time I just rejected any train that had crates at all, which lost me a lot of points, and so after that I just always let trains with crates through as long as the manifest was correct, which seems to have mostly worked. How *do* you tell crates with contraband from normal ones? 😅

Graphics and sound are great. Based on visuals alone it would've been very melancholic, but the music is quite upbeat and motivating. Fits well, given the story. I'm in trouble, but on a mission! I like how tactile stuff is, having to ring the bell, open and close the doors and so on. Would've been nice if the bell swung.

The one thing I didn't like was how much the screen shook with every train. A little bit I think would've been cool as it does help sell the weight of the trains, but it made me very motion sick, so I just had to close my eyes for about ten seconds between every train leaving and the next coming in.

Being able to move around the desert beyond the station was interesting. Would've been cool to find something out there.

Overall well done and quite polished, nice work!
