I'm on phone and my home net gone -.-

mactinite 2017-08-01 08:18

Hey I was unable to run that, it never started up for me. Windows 10 should be ok right?

samuli-salonen 2017-08-01 10:00

Doesn't work for me :(

I'm running windows 7 and there's no error messages or anything, the game just never starts.

cenullum 2017-08-01 13:30

Really neat idea, with simple, but fun graphics. Great Job!

chispalbc 2017-08-03 15:00

HMM maybe i don't know how to play it. In your gif you drop the battery and you keep flying but i die super quickly when i do it and get another one is hard. The graphics are ok, I think it would look a lot cooler if the dirt had a texture (even a simple one)

gecuit 2017-08-03 15:02

Very entertaining gameplay! I really liked the bat's animations and how the battery meter swings around him.

alaah 2017-08-03 15:21

I don't get the idea. I have to run with the battery and predict where the next one will be? Sounds harsh. I liked the gfx and sfx, though.

cenullum 2017-08-04 16:50

@starlight-glimmer-is-best-poney , @chispalbc You have to go to door for next world. there was just 3 worlds :D

shaolin-dave 2017-08-04 19:10

Does godot export to Mac, Linux or WebGL? You 'll get more ratings if you make it available to more platforms.

dragonzlay 2017-08-04 19:55

Nice, but i feel like when you let go of a battery you should move faster horizontally, too.

cenullum 2017-08-05 10:21

@shaolin-dave Right now I'm trying to export mac

ditzel 2017-08-05 12:30

This definitely deserves more ratings.

almax 2017-08-05 12:44

The way the bar swings is super cute! And pooping bats reminded me of Conkers Bad Fur Day :P fun little game!

linus 2017-08-05 12:47

Neat game, I tried the web version but not sure if intended but the only SFX I heard was the hit sfx when the bat got hit. A lot of content in the game but because there was no music and SFX the game was a bit dull. Good job though!

freedom-is-slavery 2017-08-05 13:00

For some reason, the web version didnot work. However, I tried the PC version and it worked fine.

Things I loved:

* The use of the theme is great * Really innovative concept, contols * Scores great on humour * Good pixel art

However, the player's movement could have been little faster and more polished. All in all a great LD game!

orcdraco 2017-08-05 13:25

Cute pixel art graphics! :) Gameplay is fun too. Well done!

huvaakoodia 2017-08-05 13:56

I love it how everything goes :boom:. :battery: goes :boom:, :man: goes :boom:, even :sheep: goes :boom:

I got to a pilar of :cow::cow::cow: flinging :poop: at me when the program (HTML5) froze. Too bad, had fun until that point.

Why does a :bat: need a :battery:? Why so much :poop:? These questions and many more will haunt anyone playing this for the rest of their lives.

Well done, you!

jmarkohun 2017-08-05 14:06

I tried to play with the game on html5 but i cannot move to left or right.. only W and S button worked..

pavelsovushkin 2017-08-05 15:10

Funny!

markwolf 2017-08-05 15:44

A nice little game. The concept is original. Tested on a browser : no music and no sound. If it is not a technical pb, music and sfx should add some juice to your game. keep going!

philstrahl 2017-08-06 01:10

That's a quite funny take on the theme and I liked the concept. My personal problems I had were due to the visual feedback of the batteries. It would have been nice to have the bar diminish pixel by pixel instead of having just three images for that. Also, I couldn't really enjoy the level design as I was just frantically looking for new power all the time. I failed the first couple of times no knowing why because I still had most of my hearts still full! My suggestion would be to give the player a little more power to play around with and once that runs out, diminish the hearts one by one; much like starving in Minecraft. Still: I liked the graphics a lot and the sounds were very fitting. The tutorial level was a good idea, also! Nicely done!

nick-blackwood 2017-08-06 07:08

Loved the controls and the physics! The fact that you can block projectiles with your battery using momentum is pretty cool. The battery seems to run out too fast in my opinion and it immediately jumps from full to almost 0, so it's hard to tell how much time you have left. Due to that, exploring the levels wasn't as fun as it could be. Anyway, the game does have potential for sure, keep it up!

mianagames 2017-08-06 13:05

Nice game. Very funny. Congrats!

maakep 2017-08-07 07:42

Interesting feature with the physics battery, although it made the controls a bit clunky it's an cool idea. You had the same take on the theme as us, namely keeping the character running with battery powerups, except you have robo-bat and we have a refrigerator, haha. Well done.

risingoat 2017-08-07 10:01

Nice absurd little game! All revolves around a pun and that's great. Love the concept, the mechanics and the art, but I miss some music!

duck-games 2017-08-07 11:04

Fun game. Good job.

philstrahl 2017-08-07 16:11

theonethatneverwas 2017-08-07 16:21

Nice little game. I enjoyed playing it, the art is very nice, as well as the gameplay mechanic. Good job!

alxm 2017-08-19 04:24

The game world is charming, nice colors, and the low res works really well. I was confused about what to do at first, but I got the flying with a battery to the next after a few tries. In-game instructions are a nice touch. Works great on Linux with Wine.

Challenging and fun game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 39 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcB7mPgMq7c
