This is actually really fun to play! Physics based games are always fun and you nailed it. The graphic style also goes well with the vibes. 10/10 for me ^^

jahwffrey 2023-05-18 16:34

Nice job! Cute little game solidly put together. You wanted feed back on the graphics, and yes, I would play a game with these graphics. The mostly-two-colors is pulled off very well and the whole thing feels consistent and like a 'silly toy' if that makes any sense? The closest comparison I can give would be Jelly Car, the whole things feels small and charming. It feels most at home on a mobile phone or on a game I would otherwise play a little bit at a time, but maybe thats the Jelly Car still talking.

I really love the concept and the design of the game. You did a fantastic job, good work!

pawciu 2023-05-18 17:07

Reminds of my children board game called couriers. Simple idea put very well executed. Music is cool, style is consistent, very polished submission. Great job a lot of fun to play, especially these juicy physics feeling.

vitaslayer 2023-05-18 17:09

It's a good small game. It has an interesting concept that is fun to play. The visual style is very pleasant.

kazatan 2023-05-18 17:43

The graphics are totally fine - more than that - they're good! There was a breakout mobile hit called doodlejump that used a similar hand drawn aesthetic. I think there's a big section of gamers that would be totally happy playing a game like this.

dan-allison 2023-05-18 18:04

This is really, really great, you've absolutely nailed this. Aesthetically, it's awesome. The colour are great, I love the messy (as in not straight) linework on all of the art and even the font! The characters themselves have a lot of charm and the lever pulling animation is great too. Music is just as good and the visuals/audio combines with the fast pace of the game really meshes together, everything is super consistent. Honestly, this is really impressive for a solo game, you've done a great job here!

greenwooddrive 2023-05-18 18:17

Wow ! Cute and simple, the music is catchy and perfect for the gameplay, the graphics are awesome, fitting the game perfectly. The little dudes are cute haha, the driver is dancing to the beat of the song :P thats cute. I would definitely play this. The physic is working great and it feels quite satisfying to fill a truck completely. If you need more gameplay/mechanics ideas for let me know I will be happy to give you more feedback ! :)

qin-bugong 2023-05-18 18:19

Really good the mechanic! The entire art style looks comfortable, even if there are just 2 colores

weirdbitgames 2023-05-18 18:39

Me thinking I nailed it and wondering why the level hadn't ended yet:

Really good puzzle-game style music, so catchy, I love the art style too. This game is so simple and it's incredibly well implemented too! I can seriously see this becoming a full-fledged game too, really very well done!

Truck was rude and left all of my carefully-placed parcels behind :(

nice "spin" on tetris. better graphics do add if you eventually want to build out the game, graphics are marketing, so versions like the tetris effect with all of their flourish are more popular despite being basically the same as simpler renditions.

ava-skoog 2023-05-18 20:03

Very cute graphics and music! Easy to understand and mostly feels good to play (was a little tricky to fit packages in near the edges sometimes; I think maybe I would've preferred gradual rotation to snapping?). Good vibes overall! Simple game so not much to say otherwise but the presentation is spot on and I enjoyed it a bunch. Even some humour to be had when the lorry drives off as you fail to fill it in time and all the packages just get left behind 😱 Only thing was it felt a bit anticlimactic when you lost, would've liked some more oomph there. But really, super nice game!

apple-dash 2023-05-18 23:13

I view game jams as more of a learning experience for everyone involved more than anything else, so I like to point out every issue that I found and maybe propose some solutions.

So, uh, I guess, the cursor gets offset from the package and bugs out when you move the cursor to the second screen. Here, that's pretty much all issues with this game.

Everything else is just great. I like the presentation of it all, music, sounds and visuals all fit together really well. And I like the gameplay a lot. It's simple, sure, but it's such a tightly designed little game. I also appreciate how readable it is. Despite its free-form movement, you can easily read the size of boxes, so you can strategize on what goes where.

I'd say this experiment in finding an art style was definitely a success! Design of the game is simple yet fun. Elements of it are reminiscent of Tetris in some ways but adding the ability to choose your pieces made it slightly more relaxed. Excellent animations for the truck pulling away/backing in, and the UI was effective and pleasant as well. Super solid entry!!

glaciereclipse 2023-05-19 07:15

This was a really satisfying game to play! Stacking the boxes just perfectly and seeing that go button was really fun, I enjoyed the physics aspect to it and the snapping helped a lot when trying to place the final boxes. It did feel a bit too difficult for me, as in the timer was way too quick, overall I would've played it a bit longer if the timer wasn't so punishing because it did feel kind of relaxing just stacking the truck perfectly. Cool entry!

corrupt-spaghetti 2023-05-19 10:50

Really fun game! Nice artstyle and concept.

oroshibu 2023-05-19 16:03

Haha goated idea! 5 stars all the way

david-yates 2023-05-19 18:34

I remember once playing a troll game version of Tetris where the blocks fall according to real physics. This game feels like you took that idea in a more fair and actually playable direction -- though more irregular sizes for packages could certainly be a concept to explore for future expansion.

Getting all the boxes out of their messy heap and packing them neatly was very satisfying. Also love the graphical style and all the animations. Very nicely polished game.

geckoo1337 2023-05-19 18:38

Hello. I finished the game with a score 494, but an unreadable appreciation. Maybe O or D - I don’t know. The project is well done with a cute aesthetic and a funny music. The main gameplay is clever. Keys work well as expected. I have fun playing. Thank you for this pretty entry ++

melektaus 2023-05-19 18:54

Congratulations for finishing the game. I like Tetris, I play your game: Bingo

Solid gameplay, Cute music.

From the visual aspect I think the style is pretty cool, maybe a color change could be nice for potential difficulty change. (But in the end I have no idea XD)

Thank you for sharing

Wow, the art style and animations are appealing af!!! :fire:

The polish here is really nice. I loved everything about this. Packing the truck was super satisfying to play.

Sometimes I would get a box that felt a bit 'sticky', like I couldn't easily let go of it, but overall, this was so much fun!! I love it so much!! Killer job.

codexzier 2023-05-19 19:47

There's something very satisfying about stacking the box in the truck. Haptics for moving crates feels good. Good work

dokan 2023-05-19 20:58

Simple rules but very enjoyable and satisfying gameplay. Graphics and audio complete a very coherent game. Great entry, good job!

cassowary 2023-05-20 00:57

Honest feedback: I love the graphics, they remind me of old flash games and the color scheme is super appealing. Physics engine also works nicely and is fun to mess around with. Packing the packages in is super satisfying. I wish a little bit that the boxes would rotate with gravity if you picked them up by the corner, since rotating them is a little tricky. But overall this is a great entry, well done!!
