I found this really inovative. I think iterating over the concept a few times could be turned into a full game.

Very entertaining game, cute graphics and innovative gameplay. The time pressure is just right. It feels a bit like tetris, as you get bad combinations of colors you run out of space.
It is a bit whacky with how the physics behave exactly at each moment, but that is part of the charm! Also really nice pixel graphics.
Sorry to give such a bad rating, but I am not able to do anything in this game. The only thing I can do is drag the item around, but nothing happens beyond that. In case I did something wrong let me know and I will update the rating.
Woow, lovely game! Overall one of the best that I have played so far. Really nice graphics and good mix of puzzle and management.
Nice visualls, cool sound and interesting gameplay. Although nobody was online, so I was not able to really engage with the mechanics.
Wow! 2D-Platforming ist not my favourite genre at all, but this had definitely the most innovativ gameplay at this gamejam so far. Also great artwork, it works really well
Really liked playing this! The graphic is low res but very cute and the management aspects are interesting and can be explored a bit.
Sadly I had a very low framerate (with my integrated GPU) and did therefore not play too long. But I love this kind of game and the fact that you built it this very short time is impressive. Also, while the controls feel a bit unusual at first, it actually feels easier then if Up-is-acceleration, left/right-is-turn. So, actually more like moving a character than driving a car (which is great for people who are not too much into car-games). I think you did a good job implementing this style of control.
The art is really nice. And the plot-twist at the end was funny and totally surprised me.
Got a sefgault on Linux (with intel integrated graphics card).
Nice art style! Also, what controls feel somehow really good, the character moving rather slow but not so much that it feels bad. Also, the friendly fire is a nice touch.
Wow, the desktop-simulation is really impressiv for a game-jam! I loved the whole rat-tail with dependencies and everything. This is not only the case with game engines, but also with quite a few other "enterprise-level" development tools. One of the reasons I am using my own engine now ;)
A nice game, I like the graphics and the theme. For a non-platform-gamer like me it was pretty hard, did not finish it.
I had a bit difficulties understanding what the bars were actually related too.
@xbolinger3 Yeah, that is a limitation of our (custom) engine at the moment. We only produce those "bare" executables, which would need a Microsoft-Signing-key to prevent those super-bad virus warnings (though it looks like windows 11 will still give some kind of warning for completely unknown binaries, even when signed).
@hangovergames 36.26 Polish Zloty, according to google ;) Thought the prices are more or less random, as @anatol-dumitras mentioned
@anatol-dumitras Thanks :) The prices were just random number that we put in, before we even knew what the real objects are going to be XD
@ilunailuna Thanks for the feedback! Do you mean the controls were more clumsy, or do you mean that you had some kind of frame-drops/stuttering? Music is a difficult decision. We were on the verge to use an "epic" background track or mix our own track. In the end we decided that we would feel better to do it ourselves and get some first practice in track-making. But will keep the note regarding mood in mind.
@stronf Thanks. Yes, we would have loved to make more levels, but we are just to slow :( In the end the decision was either some narration and the "variable" ending or one or two more levels. We decided to go with some narration to have a bit a more "rounded" game.
@ilunailuna Okay, good to hear. (because a) we initally had a performance problem with all the polygon-overlap tests, which we thougth we had fixed and b) we now know that the controls were not as intuitiv as we thought they are)
@depression Sorry for the bad experience. We had another case where the game froze after the first frame. Did that happen to you too? In any case, could you maybe tell me what graphics card you have?
@night-on-mars @medow Thanks for you feedback! Yes, we kind of got a good possible-but-difficult level with the default model sizes and didn't want to touch it any further :D Yep, adding settings-dialogs is one of the next things we will add to our engine.
@nadia-pixel So sorry! Our engine is not capable producing an HTML build!
@stmate03 Thanks so much! That experience is what we were aiming for :)
@ryusui Would you be willing to share your graphics card model and driver version?
@jason-shapiro Thanks, appreciate that you liked it, despite hating inventory management XD
@ryusui @rasblo @olddog Thanks for reporting and sorry for the problems. It is likely that you all have an AMD card. The engine currently has a bug where the interaction with the AMD-Vulkan driver causes a freeze. Will update the description until this is fixed.
@hengen Bowing in awe before you :) And thanks for posting the screenshot!
Interesting idea, but I really missed a more concrete overall goal.
Yes, this should be disqualified.
The game-loop was interesting and challenging, but I missed a bit an overall goal or movitation to continue making money :D
This felt really polished for a game jam submission. Especially nice are art style and the feeling of coziness.
Interesting game and art style! The wobble was waaay too much, and I felt like I got inconsistent feedback with it.
The game was a bit too complicated for me to succeed. But I really liked two things: The "fighting mini game", as it adds some action to the game. And second, I find the art-style of the cards really charming!
This is great fun! At some point I think I "got over the curve" and could handle most waves. The interesting part was going from "randomly placing unit" to "Ahh, if I place them correctly, I can crush many enemies with only a few units".
I had very low frame rates on Linux with an AMD Radeon RX 580 Series. But efforts to provide a Linux version must be rewarded in any case ;) From the description, screenshots and what I could play, this seems to be real fun when having decent framerate!
Nice game. The sounds were cute :)
I found the character art and animation really nice :) Also, another funny interpretation of the theme!
I really fun, but my framerate dropped sharply after destroying a dozen objects or so :D. Also, the "adaption" of the theme is really creative!
Very polished game, and was a lot of fun to play!
An interesting experience. It felt like there was a bug somewhere, so I was unable to do anything anymore. Still, good, relaxing experience among all the more action and horror oriented submissions!
Loved it! Exactly the kind of game play I like. Also, the 8-bit aesthetics is great. Good job!
Nice, I find the Pentagram-drawing-tool is really innovative. Something about the controls was a bit "off", maybe the movement was just a tad too slow.
I really like how you combined text and painting, very innovative. But, like others, I found the English version was really hard to solve at times :D. Still, great experience!
The fighting mechanics are interesting! It was a bit unclear, how e.g. to counter enemies with the "luck" attribute. Sometimes I thought the best combination was pretty straight forward but then I my minion was completely obliterated :D.
Great art style and music! It seemed a bit difficult, but I am not familiar with those kind of games. The number keys above WASD is not a good choice in regards to accessibility. But, in any case, having a Linux download is a big plus for me ;)
Needing to learn and remember the spells is a great gameplay mechanic! Once you figure out a certain "strategy" the game is pretty much won. Was really fun playing!
@realwangziyang There is an infinte mode. Just play again after landing on the main menu screen.
@youth-group-video-games @drgcandle @tomknocker44 Thanks for you nice feedback!
@westeaststudio Thanks!
@hieu Yeah, I had the problem with some of my testers too. Not sure how to fix it, apart from using a different browser and add/or add a malware exception. Sorry.
@obanigarage Thanks :) I was actually thinking about that, initially at least. I feared trapping the player too easily (but I think with spending some time thinking about this would actually be the more engaging approach).
@whumpuswu Wow, thanks. I am not an artist at all, so I am always getting excited when people mention art direction!
@jamieok Thanks for the detailed feedback. It is especially helpful because I consider this to b e a prototype for a future game.
@zablas It is not that difficult, as I am using my own engine, that tends to produce much smaller binaries than the big engines (which is also the reason people get malware warning all over the place I guess).
@hsg-gringo @zablas Glad that you enjoyed it, and thanks for the feedback!
@blues Sorry, we are working on getting our binaries out of the malware heuristics (likely compiler/language related), but not fully there yet.
@frank-gevaerts This message should not affect your game. The engine merely checks if steam is available, and, if not, will continue to run. Did the game not start in your case?
Everything about this game is hilarious. Even if the game play is a bit bland, I REALLY wanted to get rid of those debts! XD
A cute, hectic game, real fun!
I really loved the aesthetics! The gameplay is fun and challenging. I could not get rid of the feeling, that there is twist buried somewhere in the game or the narrative, but I couldn't find/understand it. Also, why does skipping have no effect on the game? Is this just to allow players to get through the narrative, in case they cannot finish a level?
Interesting game. The balancing was done really good, with the automatically spawning salt patches. That way, you were not completely overwhelmed by enemies, even though the were continuously spawning, which made the whole level feel very "alive".
