That's neat. It's very cool that you managed to create that many assets and make them into the playable level. The sound level was fine for me and I also found amusing that you can shoot little pots with plants and they are just objects when big pots are enemies. Would be great to see more interactivity or fun with physics, but gamejam is gamejam, so it's understandable.
anyway, nice entry!
Shame your game didn't quite go to plan but the graphics are really impressive, especially since they were all made during the jam. The little pots being just a physics object was suprisingly hilarious.
I've played the linux version, I have some graphical glitches but I've seen enough to say that the art is very good, hehe I was a fan of Gary's mod and this game reminded me a little bit to it.
Good job!
PS: I'll check the engine that you used as I've never heart about it.
Nice Graphics ! Movements feels weird sometimes like input lag.
Impressed by how much you managed to do with the graphics, didn't read the full description until I had played the game and I was under the impression that they had to be from a library given how solid they were.
As for the gameplay itself, I found that the game definitely could've used something more. Once you defeat the potted plants, then it's just a scavenger hunt... doing that isn't all too difficult either, given the number of pickups around.
I mean, nice assets. Some time management would go a long way. Still fun enough and an interesting idea.
Find it crazy that you managed all those assets so quickly! Audio might've been a bit too loud heh. Also diagonal strafing felt veeeery slow compared to just moving forward.
Nice assets and quite a fun idea, just need more polish for it to work. It's a bit TOO hard to know which one will shoot at you even if that is what you intended for it to be.
Visual seems good but I can't play it, I'm on macOS :/
Tried to run it on my windows11 laptop and got white window. Screenshot 2024-04-19 200224.png Screenshot 2024-04-19 200111.png
Good graphics
Have not seen anybody using O3DE for ages! Wow! Also game tried to access network on start.
Nice entry overall. Those killer plants killed me tons of times!
Cool graphics.
I had very low frame rates on Linux with an AMD Radeon RX 580 Series. But efforts to provide a Linux version must be rewarded in any case ;) From the description, screenshots and what I could play, this seems to be real fun when having decent framerate!
Its a fun game! I like the extra objective of collecting things, to make it more than just running around and shooting. The plants as enemies were a funny touch and being able to shoot all the furniture and watch the physics do their thing made the game more interesting. Great job!
Really impressive assets considering the time crunch, good job on that. Overall it was enjoyable enough to play once even given the limited gameplay as is. It would be cool to see some of the work you mentioned being unable to use get fixed up and released as well :]
Pretty funny concept, the physics was fun to see once I collected all the beepers, I tried my best to b-hop but the movement felt a bit stiff at times. Overall nice work with the graphics everything looked great, and it was a fun little experience!
Nice graphics, I love the gameplay but how is that connected with summoning? I've collected all of the beepers and nothing happened, Ive searched the whole map and the only thing that stood out was this, that I dont know if has any function at all, overall I loved the game, I miss pause or menu button or something, and I would love to see the ending of the game, good job guys keep it up!Screenshot 2024-04-21 114920.png
Very pretty! The environment and power ups look good. The gameplay is simple, but I enjoyed running around murdering office plants. The map is quite well designed, I can see the potential here, its a shame your idea got cut short. Nice job getting what you did together though, its no small feat getting something like this together!
From a gameplay POV, nothing too interesting. As far as I get it it was just a development process experiment. I give you credit for the assets though, if you really made them.
Cool little shooter you got here. Art-wise I loved the style of the game and the scenery not too sure what the gameplay has to do with the theme though. Also on another note the gameplay was pretty fun but finding all the beepers was a bit frustrating. Overall, it could use some improvement but really impressed with what you have done in such a short amount of time.
pretty good graphics, love it.
