Nice work! I was stumped at the beginning trying to figure out how to gather resources, only to realize that I had started with several.

The game looks and plays nice. I love having to pay close attention to the multicolor enemies in order to know which element to switch to.

2 nitpicks - first is that having to click on a small target to summon, while also looking at the center of the screen for the current element, made it tough to make decisions quickly. Maybe if the icon was overlaid over the summon portals themselves, your attention wouldn't be divided.

The second is that I had a really good run going my second playthrough, and just suddenly died out of nowhere. I'm not sure what the reason was - maybe I touched an enemy? Some feedback on why you died would have helped.

**NOTE: Clicking on the portal will summon a demon of the element that is currently active on the altar!**

Took me a minute to figure out the controls :D I thought I had to collect things first, and then press mouseclick to spawn in things. Once I had 60%+ boost, I spammed all i got which worked out super fine, till I had no resources anymore...:'D The game does punish for wrong material use, which is a great lose condition to me

jimuu 2024-04-16 12:03

I like it!The control is very smooth.

gyziger 2024-04-16 22:25

Very fun! I liked it a lot. Challenging but achievable at the same time. Great work!

gnum 2024-04-16 22:43

Very good game!

My score was 16! Sorry I forgot to take a screenshot. Really fun and polished game. I love the rock/paper/scissors mechanic. Similar to what I've done in my game hah! I got pretty confused on how to switch elements since there was(or I couldn't find) any cues on which element was selected. Overall, pretty good work!

Very polished game, and was a lot of fun to play!

I really like how the 3D plane is mixed with 2D sprites. It takes a few minutes for me to understand how to summon creatures and how to select creature types, but after that, I enjoyed playing this game. I'm not completely sure that I like the feature with element rotation, but it's an interesting idea.

roman-dubrovin 2024-04-17 17:07

I like the graphics but it wasn't really challenging

typicalkin 2024-04-17 17:53

Games felt a bit too slow for what it is due to the slow movement of elementals and having to wait a certain element to show up to fight against the baddies but other than that, it plays good.

artemy-zen 2024-04-17 19:59

@typicalkin

Yes, maybe the game starts too slow, but gradually the frequency of enemies increases.

And you need to remember that the main goal is to attack, i.e. you can summon friendly elementals on preemptive action without waiting for enemies.

As mentioned by others, it took me a couple of seconds to understand how I was supposed to summon the entities. Then it's a nice tower defense, with a nice gimmick of waiting for the good element while also checking that you are summoning at the right place. Overall, an enjoyable entry ! Well done

It was hard at first to understand the controls, but then it became fun! Loved the art style, and the interpretation of the theme was pretty cool too! gg

gcake 2024-04-18 22:24

I had no idea how to summon on the 1st run haha (even though i've read the description). The portals on the left blend in environment that i didn't think it was clickable.

2nd run went smooth  . I do feel like the elements to summon are switching a little bit too fast. I always have to pre-shot the previous element in order to summon the one I want.

Well, still managed to survive 15minutes with a score of 87 :muscle: !

Overall a good game ! Nicely done ! :tada:

I didn't fully understand the controls at first since there was a summon circle in the middle of the room. But I quickly figured it out and had some good fun!

poutine-studio 2024-04-18 22:47

Everybody said it but maybe juste explain a bit more how to summon. Otherwise great game, it's pretty slow paced but if that's what you were going for then that's perfect. The twist of having to wait and time yourself to summon the right type is cool! Good job.

risminator 2024-04-18 22:51

I like how I need to quickly react to the enemies and their elements. Creates a great dynamic of line management. But the constantly and quickly changing elements on the altar kind made my eyes tired quickly. Love the cute visuals!

mrgaberson 2024-04-19 10:21

Enjoyed the gameplay! it's slow at first but I've been scrambling as the enemies started picking up. clicking on the summoning circles felt a bit clunky for me, I was clicking on nothing I thought I was clicking on one. Maybe an indicator like maybe have the row glow when you cursor is in the right place

amunonra 2024-04-19 11:10

Nice little game though a bit repetitive gameplay for my taste. Artstyle and sound was great though!

chibiata 2024-04-20 07:03

The graphics are on point! a little sad that the artwork of the huge boss didnt get more screentime xD but overall really well done. the gameloop felt kinda basic, but i still enjoyed it

dagunov 2024-04-20 07:12

Nice mechanics, I quite liked that! I agree with all said above. As a suggestion for repetitive gameplay, some little things may be easy to implement - like enemy elementals can move to adjacent lane, or sometimes they drop not an element, but a powerup - for example, lanes freeze. Good job!

dasilvacontin 2024-04-20 07:19

I felt like I got the hang of it was quite easy specially if I focused. It seems like I was going to be able to go on forever and ever and ever so I just stopped playing.

I feel like for the game to be more interesting it should introduce new mechanics overtime or increase the challenge somehow.

Solid game, great job. Thank you for sharing!!

matso 2024-04-20 15:08

Nice mechanic which could easily be fleshed out with more enemy/element types and/or pickups with more development time than a single weekend. A-/B+ on graphics and sound design, love that bass swell that kicks in after a few waves. Good stuff, glad I got to try it!

jqnox 2024-04-20 19:15

The game is pretty lit, loved the sound track and what I think was pokemon inspired types? I could be wrong, but I loved it nontheless!

jvdwijk 2024-04-21 20:18

Really good and hectic game! As I mentioned, some warning that a monster is spawning on the right would be nice, in case the player is collecting an ability/summon there.

The game was a lot of fun, and looked really polished from the couple of tries I gave it! If you want to rewatch my playthrough, feel free to do so here: https://youtu.be/VrinXzvnhho

artonix 2024-04-22 13:01

Great game, mechanic is cool. The only thing that irritates me is that the portal switches too fast. I wish there was a some sort of progress bar, that shows how soon it would switch, and the timer were longer.

sabasa 2024-04-22 13:44

Very cool game, simple and fun. Cute art, loved the green little guy

yanato 2024-04-22 20:55

Wow that's cool! Finished and polished game. Interesting interpretation of «rock-paper-scissors»:")

kurakurture 2024-05-01 14:30

It's very enjoyable to play. The art is done beautifully and clearly. All elements are well distinguishable. I like the animations.

I don't quite understand why it was necessary to make the character move by WASD, as I didn't notice any other mechanics except for collecting in the game. It would be cool to collect elements from the field automatically or by mouse click.

Also the change of elements is too fast in my opinion. The speed of the enemies is not so great to switch elements so quickly.
