Good job with the game ! The tutorial is very handy and well done ! A background music could greatly improve the overall experience
Don't really know how, but I think I bugged the game. I delivered a package to a the troll thingy at the end of the first level, it gave a big package and then, nothing. I couldn't interact with anything in anyway. Or am I missing something ?
The avocado ennemy got me once, apparently avocados are bad for your health, gotcha ! :p
The feel (sound effect, fluidity etc...) when delivering packages is great ! As mentioned by others, a feedback when we are hitting ennemies could greatly improve the game.
Nice entry, well done !
Storywise, moodwise this game is amazing ! From a gameplay point of view, maybe having a different timing for the messages, in order for us to have something to do instead of just running around waiting for the message to give us clues. Very nice entry, well done !
And congratz for your 20th vote ;)
I was left hanging at the end of the first song, but gave a try to the second level and... WOW ! Music is really cool ! Gameplay is simple yet very responsive and gives a nice feel to the game. Pixel art is cool, it does the job but I my opinion you have a strong base to do some amazing pixel art... But for a jam it's already really cool.
Well done !
Amazing work team ! The music and art is from another world (pun intended). It was a really nice experience! And real quick emotional ! Love it !
Sprites and mood from the game is really well done ! From a gameplay point of view, it was difficult to understand how to grab the crown, and sometimes the swarm of ennemies made it impossible to take back efficiently leading to the gameover.
But overall it is a really nice entry, well done !
Really cool game for a first game jam ! Impressive Some commentaries : The concept is simple yet really cool, but the navigation in the level is quite difficult, and I ended several times in the bottom of the level, unable to go up. Maybe lowering just a little bit the plateform would greatly increase the experience ! And because I'm not really agile and I spent my time throwing the packages down without knowing the recipient, it became really difficult
@cmdpancakes, @brandon-campbell I also interpreted the theme as a baby delivery ahah :p But definitly not with the same approach
Nice entry ! Took me a couple of seconds to understand what we were supposed to do (was expecting the baby the be catapulted to me), after that it's a nice little game. Well done !
Wow, it feels like a full mobile game (mean that as a compliment, for a gamejam) ! Impressive ! Well done ! Don't know if it's a bug from my side, but I hadn't any music during the play.
Really nice entry! Graphics are really cool.
The game feels a bit buggy sometimes (music stops, ennemies following us in other rooms (? maybe intended), we can re-jump when touching the edge of a plateform or flying over one)
Overall a very nice entry ! Well done.
Wow ! Really cool entry! The controls are sweet, and even if the game is difficult, and seems sometimes unfair (damn you avalanche!) it makes you want to play again Well done !
I like the idea of an Ogame-Like simulation, well fitted with the theme of the jam ! Difficult to know if I'm doing the good thing when exporting ressources. Nice entry ! Maybe the music loop is a bit short for a game that needs a lot of time to complete
Hard game, but the "two characters for one player" works really well and gives depth to the game.
Nice entry, well done !
As I only play the game that are directly available as HTML5, I was SOOOO glad you did because it looked amazing !
And boy was I not disappointed ! I love the art style ! Music is simple yet very entertaining. The narrative is really good and works well with the gameplay.
Two things to improve this already awesome game : - Depending of where we open the letter, a part of it is masked by the screen size, and I needed to repack, move and reopen the letter. Being able to move the letter once open would be a nice QOL improvement - (Clearly out of the scope of this jam but) an achievement system to track if we experienced the all storyline depending on if we sent the letters to the good people would be really nice.
Awesome entry, well done !
Nice entry! I like the way you went with the audio, really authentic. Quite difficult to be efficient in the saving of theses peoples. Maybe them being less slippy could improve the overall experience, as it was really difficult to push them, and I feel like it mandatory to F "Follow me!" them to bring them to the escape area.
Well done !
The gameplay loop is simple yet very effective. Graphics and music are really cool !
Best entry so far ! Well done
Really nice feel when you can spam the letters the further you go in the game. As mentioned before, it leads to missclicking on upgrades as I was spamming the mouse-button. Music loop is a bit too short Nice entry !
Nice game ! Really like the humor and comments as boomers and anti home office from the mad employees ! Too bad there wasn't a ambiance music to go with that.
Good job !
I tried and I tried but couldn't figure what we were supposed to do, even with the hint. It could mitigate the frustration if we had a feedback when pressing enter to try a guess. Currently we don't know if it's doing something. The mood you created with whispers and graphics is really cool though
I LOVE the music and the mood it creates in the game ! Nice little puzzle game, really like the overall feel
As @weston-goggins mentioned, it was a bit confusing to understand where we were compared to the building I feel like the controls have a potential to be really cool but it was difficult to understand them and then control properly the bird during the span of this test (4 tries of the 1st lvl) Nice entry though ! A lot of potential
Your pixel art is very cool ! :usic is also very cool, and it's a nice touch that it's a different music when restarting the game. Nice entry. Camera is a bit confusing when dying and restarting the game.
Nice art, you managed to obtain the feel of a 'Vampire Survivor' in only a week end it's impressive
And a question : is you music a jojo ref ?
I love the take on a puzzle game about delivery. Mechanics are cool and well explored. Music loop is too short in my opinion, and even if the music is cool I had to mute it to finish the game. (The LDjam integrated version doesn't work for me)
WOW ! Music and art are fantastic ! Tutorial is perfect and allows to quickly enter in the game.
From a gameplay point of view, mails feel a bit overwhelming, and it feels unfair to have a negativ score at the end of the day when you were as quick as possible. I died on the first day twice :(
Overall, a really impressive entry !
You managed to give your game a strong 'Paper Please' vibe, congrats for that !
A small problem at launch due to the size of the game compared to the size of my screen.
PS : Just saw in the comment that you can roll several letter in the same tube. So I'd update my comment saying that it wasn't clear for me aswell
Nice game! Too me longer than I'd like to admit to understand the trigger for the key, but it was hinted in the messages Incredible background quality. Music is cool asweel, and in the theme of the game. Don't know if it is intended but in the last sequence you can easily be stuck in a room if you don't go directly to the exit, which is a bit fustrating.
(Played the post jam version) The start of the game is maybe a bit slow, but once you reach the little crew, it's really enjoyable ! Love the graphic style for the characters. Music is simple but enjoyable, and do the job !
Unfortunatly I had a freeze on the second level :/ this is the kind of game i'd like to play a full version of !
Awesome game ! congratulations
Awesome game ! Really enjoyed playing it. Spent some times enjoying the controls on the first landing site... they are really enjoyable ! You made a great work for them ! Animations (cinematics and in game) are really cute. Music is also really nice !
Maybe my only critics would be that some interactions (opening levels, ...) lack audio feedback, and maybe the music is a bit saturated ?
We've had a rather similar idea regarding the theme so I can just say that it was a good take on the theme ahah
Your graphics are really cool ! You also have a lot more features than our game so, congrats on that too :)
Took me a couple of seconds to figure out that I was the jellyfish and not a turtle ahah Music is really catchy.
You should add a screen with controls (but having a azerty keyboard is not helping me to quickly find the keybinds for sure)
Congrats for your first game !
Nice entry. You used the theme to design the mecanic of the game in an ingenious way.
As others have mentioned, audio to spice the game up would have been great, but maybe a time constraint ?
Hi @glao ! Everything is worth sharing ! Hope you had a pleasant game jam experience nonetheless
Fun game, but difficulty is a bit overwhelming for the start (leave me alone, babies !!) Should have a difficulty increasing mecanism, or if it does, start easier.
Very funny entry ! Loved the patient breaking the glass, again and again !
Tooth might be a bit hard to grab, but everything else is smooth and satisfying !
As mentioned before, the camera is a bit tricky. The environment you made is really nice though, and it is understandable that you want to display it without invisible camera. Buttons are a bit small for certains input (esc for example)
Love the humor you put in this game ! Maybe datas at the bottom of the screen are not clear enough of what they do. It was a bit frustrating to be fully stoped without understanding why.
Nice entry though, this is a game I will try to complete just to see all the achievements I'm missing !
Nice entry ! Fun clicker game, always addictive enough to give it an other click ! I really like the simple UI interface, and deconstruction of a game maker job!
Pleasant experience overall !!
Nice entry. Voxel art well executed ! There is an overall scary atmosphere that you managed to create with few elements, and this is impresive ! Maybe some sounds indicator as you are being watched by the aliens (?)? I felt that I was going to lose but didn't know how much longer I could afford being watch.
Nice entry, very polished, with the whole 'replayability system'. The only thing I can see to improve it is a visual indication that you've been hit, as I feel that the hit sound is not important enough. Thanks for the game.
Had the same trouble finding how to slow down, only seeing it will rating your game, below the picture !
Back after more testing : Hitbox for "do not touch" things are a bit frustrating, as if you try to go behind them, you crash and lose whereas the gameobject is behind you...
Graphics are good !
Nice entry
Really nice entry ! Love the different gameplay in the same game. Music wisely choosen, giving a nice mood to the game.
Regarding the art, sometimes the line thickness differs to much, reducing the readability of a level (for example, on the first level birds line are much thinner than clouds', giving the impression that you must avoid clouds, and birds are a part of the background)
Nice entry. Love the physics for the box !
Managed to defeat the boss without crashing on the webGL build ! That's a nice benchmark you made here ! (jk) Incredibly polished gameplay, music and pixel art, leading to an enjoyable experience. Lasso behavior might sometimes be frustrating as it is difficult to control once the loop is closed. Awesome entry ! Thanks for this
Excellent music for this game ! Love the art aswell.
Really cool experience. I'd add that transition such as when you (spoiler) see the tower are welcome as it avoid to go too far and miss a point, like with the fire or the bridge.
Awesome entry ! Well done
Cool idea ! Too bad there isn't more level, especially the same kind as lvl 4, that really looked like a puzzle.
Maybe the first level is not self explanatory enough, and a small written description could help understand the game beforhand.
Really interesting mechanics. Maybe a tutorial or a level 00 to get a grasp of the mechanics would help. Love the arts, and the sounds.
Super entry !
Love this game ! Mechanics is an awesome idea, leading to interesting puzzles !
Musics, arts and effects are making the experience even more enjoyable !
Really nice entry ! Regarding different points :
- Graphics, the different models are really nice - Bow mechanic, simple and quite satisfying to attack with it - Displacement , jump feels a bit tricky, and sometimes quite frustrating - Goal, as I understand it you have to do something with the gems but hints on what you're actually supposed to do might increase the overall experience.
Thanks for the game !
Cool concept. Loved the arts!
Hard to understand the core (pun intended) mechanics though, leading to playing the game by drag and droping modules. Rules out of the game space or tutorial could be great.
The gameplay on the video looks really nice, but I don't find the button/mouse click to start the game... Menu music is catchy though!
From the gameplay video, I have a question : What does hitting green target do ? It seems that it only gets us in danger, but I can't see anywhere a score system ? Or am I missing something ?
Cool game ! I love the mood and the lovecraftian universe. Controls are a bit tricky in my opinion ! Will play it again till I reach the end !!
Really cool idea for a loop entry ! Reaching further in the song is very satisfying

Cup of Summon by frnknstn 2024-04-25T16:54:24Z ♥ 1
Good idea for the jam, but as mentioned by others, it's a bit overwhelming at first! I wish there was some sort of progression phase or a small integrated tutorial before diving in. I was a bit lost, and I think I may have served several empty cups before managing to produce something? Nice entry though, a lot of game mechanics in it, it is really impressive, well done !

Nice experimental game ! Is there a way to control what you summon, or is it fully random ?

CallOfTitan by EmilAlix 2024-04-25T16:35:57Z ♥ 2
Nice entry, the graphical style, especially of the characters and the introduction, is particularly well done. From a gameplay perspective, I see potentially two points of improvement: the character controls and the introduction of new mechanics in the levels. For controls, the slowness of the character makes the experience more difficult and less visceral. Perhaps increasing the speed and adding a dash would make the game more dynamic... And for mechanics, maybe adding new mechanics gradually throughout the game, rather than just increasing the number of turrets. Overall, a very nice entry for this jam, congratulations.

I love your art style ! It reminds me of behemot games, well done ! It was an enjoyable experience ! A nice idea for a small party game :)
Reverse Rituals by freakyzelga 2024-04-20T00:45:02Z ♥ 1
As mentioned, it's a shame that your game doesn't have sound effect as it could simply greatly improve the experience! Maybe also adding like a human-dex, to see the collection of humans we summoned, to motivate to re-try ! Nicely polished though, well done ! :)
Summon Creativity I by karln 2024-04-19T17:31:00Z ♥ 2
I was about to complain about the loooooong hallway but due to the joke during the game, I don't know if I can ahah well done. But I'd like to say that the game could really benefit an increase in the speed for the player. A lot of personnality for the animation, that's really good. Nice entry, well done !
Spell the Spell by freso 2024-04-19T17:19:36Z ♥ 2
I first wasn't able to play the game as my caps lock was pressed. The idea behind the game is really cool, and deserve to be extended. Animations are really cool ! I feel like the game could be greatly improved by just a simple tutoriel, as simple as a couple of images explaining what is what and where and for what. Overall, nice entry ! Well done !
Lord of Animals by ffffchai 2024-04-19T13:58:24Z ♥ 1
I loved it ! Congratulations for this really nice entry ! The aesthetic is really cool, everythings fit well together. Maybe there is some balance problems, as I felt like the IA improved faster than me, but maybe it's just because I'm bad at the game. I'll definitly come back to this game and try to do better !
Summoner's Basement by MnemosyneVL 2024-04-19T13:49:28Z ♥ 2
As mentioned before, I feel like 30 seconds is a bit too much (especially because I'm playing it at(instead of) work and spamming the mouse for 30 seconds is kinda sus) Really like your graphics, how did you do this voxel effect ?
Overall, a nice entry ! Well done !
Bloodrites by ToC 2024-04-18T17:11:04Z ♥ 2
Nice entry, the gameplay mechanic is well thought out and has potential to create interest in the game. I also enjoyed the graphics. As mentioned by other reviewers, perhaps adding explanations about the summoning or ransom mechanics would improve the game's discovery. Until the end, I didn't understand the system between the blood drop and the blue resource. The healer is overpowered haha. Congratulations on the game, it was very enjoyable to play and complete the level! (2 minutes 39 hehe)
Devotion - A fairytale by daandruff 2024-04-18T16:54:36Z ♥ 2
The atmosphere you've managed to create for your game is excellent. Sizing a puzzle is complex, and I found myself mostly clicking around in hopes of finding the solution. The map with the points to indicate the sequence is what resembles a puzzle the most for me, and it's excellently positioned and introduced for the gameplay. This game is a little gem, especially for having been made in 2 days by a single person, so congratulations, it's excellent!
The Royal Writ by Save Sloth Studios 2024-04-18T16:47:14Z ♥ 2
Congratulations on the game! The quality you managed to achieve with just the two of you in only 3 days is simply stunning! For a jam, the game is just perfect. Nothing to criticize for a jam game. If I may go further, the gameplay has a lot of potential but could use a bit of polishing to offer a more substantial challenge and deepen the puzzle and reflection aspect. But that's going above and beyond what's expected for a jam.
Merlin Agency : The Enchanted Feather by AbominableScience 2024-04-18T16:00:36Z ♥ 2
Nice entry ! I didn't get as far as other tester, but didn't had the bug with the inputs. It is a nice idea, well executed. I wanted to learn the inputs patterns, to be faster and better. But is there a way to delete a input without losing the pigeon/patient ? As I tried to be faster, I also made more mistake, that I knew were mistake but couldn't correct them... Well done team, it was an enjoyable little game !
Wrath of Elements by Artemy Zen 2024-04-18T02:30:02Z ♥ 1
As mentioned by others, it took me a couple of seconds to understand how I was supposed to summon the entities. Then it's a nice tower defense, with a nice gimmick of waiting for the good element while also checking that you are summoning at the right place. Overall, an enjoyable entry ! Well done

Summoner's Recipe Book by TiePie 2024-04-17T18:34:02Z ♥ 3
The production quality is incredible, congratulations to the entire team! Like others have mentioned, I struggled to understand what the information related to creatures meant, and how the resource generation worked. I did rituals randomly, testing the new resources I acquired, but without much idea of how to progress logically... But this game is one of the best entries I've seen in the jam so far, so once again congratulations to the entire team !

Controls for the character are reeeeaaaalllly good I feel ! As mentioned by others, it is sometimes difficult to properly place the objects. Maybe by allowing to rotate the camera it could help ?

Demon Keys by JulienLussiez 2024-04-17T17:24:51Z ♥ 1
Simple but extremely polished. The atmosphere created from just a few notes and the cute demon sounds is brilliant. As you mentioned, it's a shame that you could only spend a day on it, cause I feel that with a twist in the gameplay, it could have been truly perfect ! Very nice entry, well done !

The eerie atmosphere was really well executed, it was a truly unique experience. It was challenging to keep up with the needs and maintain good health! Perhaps speeding up the character's movements could make it easier to maintain high levels on the gauges?
Claws and Conundrums by LocksmithArmy 2024-04-16T17:29:14Z ♥ 4
Very impressive! The atmosphere of oppression is perfectly set during exploration. I do wish I could run and jump around during exploration, but I guess that would be inappropriate given the mood of the game, haha Nice entry, well done ! (And also, especially impressive that you made it an embedded game...)
The Book of Summons by TROGDOR 20X6 2024-04-16T17:21:55Z ♥ 2
The ambiance and artistic style are very well executed, congratulations! That's funny, we had the same approach for the game theme, but with two very different results. It seems sizing puzzle games correctly can be challenging, especially with just a weekend to do everything. Unfortunately, I only managed to uncover one summoning, and I have no clue about any other approach than randomly testing combinations to discover the other summons.

Very innovative approach to platform games, I really enjoyed the idea! The timing might not be immediately intuitive, but it makes the progression more rewarding. It's a shame there isn't a bit of background music that would contribute a lot to the game's atmosphere. Well done!

First entry to evaluate and... wow! I hope they're all this good! Very impressive, congratulations to the team! It looks super polished, and the jazzy music is nice. Sometimes it's a bit unfair, as the rabbits aren't grabbed, and I didn't understand why. Also, I assume we're supposed to grab them by the ears, but I didn't understand how to control that, especially since it's already hard enough to grab them at all. Overall, it was fun and a pleasant discovery! Well done!
