I sadly could not figure out how one decelerates and so lost every single run in the end. Otherwise graphics and Sound fit really well.

I liked your game my congratulations, I also did one if you want to know, and give me your feedback I am very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection
I worked out how to slow down , so managed to save the fella. It is a good concept and fits with the theme well. Only thing that bothered me was the size of the colliders on the obstacles. Congrats on a great submission :raised_hands:
Had the same trouble finding how to slow down, only seeing it will rating your game, below the picture !
Back after more testing : Hitbox for "do not touch" things are a bit frustrating, as if you try to go behind them, you crash and lose whereas the gameobject is behind you...
Graphics are good !
Nice entry
@oddsocks, @donamougou, i kinda hacked the hitbox system together and made it like it would work in a top-down 2d game. Should've probably checked when objects do actually pass-by in the "real" coordinates, my bad.
For the tutorial on how to slow down, i wanted to make a tutorial level, but then we changed it up a bit and it wasn't possible anymore the way i wanted to so i put that idea back. And "how to play" section was made in the last few hours, in a hurry.
Graphics were entirely(except for the progress bar) made by @theo-ark and i think they did a good job!
Really cool loop animation I really liked that ! it was hard to kinda figure out how to slow down but overall it was really cool. The music has a really cool beat to it as well ! Maybe the how to play section has to be improved. and also I realized the pattern is also the same each time, so maybe try to randomize it to increase replayability? cool game good job :)
Thanks to @oddsocks comment I end up going back to the game instead of quitting without winning. I liked the ship art and the 2D tricks to feel like on a looping is a success. I would suggest to consider updating your description with whatever you originally planned to say in your tutorial level.
Nice work! From your comment it seems you did some custom 2D hit detection... I didn't even notice that while playing. I won right away, but I guess that is because I saw the "How to play" page before jumping into the game. If you make more levels you should try to make them harder. :)
Oh, and thanks for rating my game!
Hi there! I clicked on this game because I loved the title. I liked the premise, though collisions made the experience a bit frustrating. It'd be really cool to have some sort of extra feedback when you pick up a dog.
Uhmm not sure either how to slow down. Always getting you went too fast. And tips?
hey @cg-fred, if you accelerate right before collecting a dog you will slow down, thanks for playing :D
Ahhh now I get it! Thanks for explaining that :D
A nice entry! And fun inspiration. It was hard to get at the beginning though as other people mentioned but I figured it out :D thanks for making this game!
