Really well done and polished rythm game. I like the art pixel art its very cute. Good tracks and fun rhythmaic differeence between songs makes this really fun to play.
This is the best game I've played so far. From the music and simple graphics to the gameplay, it's all so well executed! The game is simple to learn and addictive. Great work.
Absolutely the best game I've played so far wonderful job, this should definitely be high up there
I love rhythm games with a passion especially this one! For being made in 3 days this game has shattered my expectations into pieces. The art, music, and overall vibe of this game is amazing! I could play this game for hours at a time! Keep up the good work!
Very nice game to vibe to! Gameplay fest satisfying and the art was great. It's always fun to play rhythm games in a game jam. Very well done!
Really good looking classic rythm game. Satisfying to play
Really cool! Very readable and super fun to sight-read the levels! I only wish there were more charts like the last level. The diverging sidewalk and all the sprites was kind of hypnotic, I really liked it!
these beats really make me want to become a postman
Took me a while to realize how to hit the cones because A/D work for left and right but W doesn't work as up. Also the game keeps crashing on me :( Otherwise, really fun game! It's got a very unique charm to it and I want to play more!
@fishy-f1shy Ahh thanks for letting me know! Glad you enjoyed :)
Nicely done rhythm game. The art was very well done. Kind of a trippy visual of the sidewalk. Great visual feedback on inputs. Minor gripe the arrow keys all work but the W in WASD doesn't work even though you have A and D working. Funny music titles. Good end game stats. Great job!
This is the first submission i've played all the way through so far, good job!
Amazed by how well done this is for such a short amount of time! Super fun and a great interpretation of the theme. Awesome work!
This game needs more attention. It's a huge bummer that you weren't able to get a web build, I know it'd get more eyes that it deserves that way. I'm always so hesitant to try to make rhythm games, but you nailed it here in the jam.
Music is great, art is great, it worked flawlessly for me on Windows.
Keep it up!
Tried my best to FC "I Have an Apartment Complex" but couldn't in the end! It was a little trippy watching the icons get closer, maybe adjusting their size as they approach would have helped a little bit! The songs were well charted. I'd like to see what an 'expert' difficulty chart would look like! awesome work!
Hey, nice! Another rhythm game! I'm afraid I don't have much to add that others haven't said already, but I enjoyed this one. Good, responsive controls, *four whole songs* (!!!), and simple, but effective art. I'll also echo that I would love to see an expert mode. Make me work for it. :P
nice twist on the old paper boy game. simple but executed well. music was great too!
Really nice music game. Love the post box animatings as well. I got hit by some pretty bad performance issues when playing though
Incredible music game. My only complaint was that there wasn't more levels.
Very nice game, I enjoyed the beat. I think the game can be more juicy anyway. Welcome to play my game either.
Great entry, it's a good twist on the classic paper boy idea. The graphics are good, but the effect on the road as you move forward is a but funky. It would have been great to have a different sound effect for the left, right and simultaneous beats.
I really like the Mailbox animations. I would have liked some harder levels, but overall really solid and well puttogether game.
Cool game. Quite unusual in comparison to all the others. Nice art, got through the whole game, it was fun.
So much fun! Can't wait to play much more difficult levels.
Nice game! Took me longer than I care to admit to figure out how to hit those traffic cones, but super satisfying once I figured it out
Really polished entry which is genuinely engaging. Also 'I Have An Apartment Complex' is a great track name, haha.
Easily the best delivery-themed rhythm game I've ever played. The songs were all good and fun to jam to!
I like the fake perspective effect which fits really whole games graphics. I appreciate gradually increasing levels difficulty (it's a sign of a good game design), but I wish there were more, even harder levels
I didn't expect much tbh, but ya this is probably the best game I've played in LD53 so far. And no I'm not leaving this comment under every game - at least not yet.
I happened to have made a music-based game as well! Check it out if ya like :D
Fantastic!! Really clean and solid implementation, enjoyable to play, and it fits the theme great. Definitely could've enjoyed even harder levels, haha.
This was so fun! I absolutely loved playing this little unique rhythm game. Wonderful play on the theme and impressive implementation of a rhythm game. I loved the sound the mail made inside the mailbox also haha
Wow this was a lot of fun! We had an idea for a rhythm game as well but went in another direction. I'm happy someone did it though. Very well done!
I was left hanging at the end of the first song, but gave a try to the second level and... WOW ! Music is really cool ! Gameplay is simple yet very responsive and gives a nice feel to the game. Pixel art is cool, it does the job but I my opinion you have a strong base to do some amazing pixel art... But for a jam it's already really cool.
Well done !
hahaha i love the track titles, chill mailman beats for sure. i want to go where no mailtruck has gone before...
the pixel art is good and the gameplay is solid! rhythm games are tricky to nail but i think you did a good job. i would love to see some harder levels, there's a lot of potential here for alternating rhythms (think taiko no tatsujin style). wish that there was some in game text explaining how to hit the cones since it's not very intuitive that you're supposed to press up.
Somehow the game froze on the web player (Firefox, M2 Macbook Pro). The music kept playing even after I closed the tab, it's just that powerful. What I DID get to play was absolutely fantastic, even if the road parallax hurt my brain. Having made rhythm games before, I know what a nightmare it is to get timing working. Good work!
The songs are great and I enjoy the application of the theme! I wish the delivery sounds had a disable or volume slider since I would prefer to hear more of the music and I found them a bit intrusive. You delivered a great rhythm game!
Can't add much other people have said. I did start getting weird eye/brain strain watching the sidewalk, I think it was just the perspective was a little too sharp or something? And I wouldn't mind the mailbox/cone sounds punch lining up with the beats instead of their animation, although I can see why it is the way it is! Really liked the audio you chose, and the game was quite fun, all 4 levels had decent variety. Nice work!
Hey, that was a load of fun! Simple and engaging game with good visuals, soundtrack and premise. Really enjoyed it.
Really fun game. Loved the music, cute graphics, responsive controls. Very well done!
I didn't expect that delivery could be turned into a rhythm game. It's a very enjoyable concept. The graphics are good and music is really great!
