Brings back some distant memories of playing STG at my friend's house 10,000 years ago!
I didn't expect much tbh, but ya this is probably the best game I've played in LD53 so far. And no I'm not leaving this comment under every game - at least not yet.

The game is actually quite hard! (maybe I'm just bad) I especially enjoyed pushing naughty penguins into water.
I can see that you guys have great sense of humor! But doing one's job with the last dying breath is also kinda touching I guess.
OK this is definitely the best game I've played in LD53 by far, I came *this* close to giving 5/5 to every single category. Superb music, smooth control, interesting dialogues and beautiful graphic! Great job!

I get a lot of friends saying the spin rate is too slow - I totally agree. The problem is that I didn't have the time to build better colliders, so if the spin rate was any higher, the note would frequently go through the walls and fall into oblivion! Definitely something I regret not doing a better job on.
Amazing game....the cute graphic really got me. It's this kind of games that makes LD so much fun.

The graphic is definitely 5/5. It would be even better if the game had some catchy background music!
Interesting key arrangements! One hack I found is that, if you just iterate through the keys extremely quickly, you will catch all the eggs (or so it seems)

I've been of fan of 100th_Coin since my first LD and his one certainly didn't disappoint, even by his standard. Highly recommend!

This is definitely one of my favourite games this LD, and probably the highest rated one from my end, getting *this* close to 8 5's across the board. Graphic is beautiful yet cozy. Replayability is virtually endless.

Great puzzle game! I always had a strange fetish (I know I know...) about rising water in enclosed spaces. If the boxes take a certain number of steps before being broken through by water, that would add more intense vibe to the game.
Reminds me a bit of those sleepless nights playing civ. Great UI, graphic is superb. Good job!
Really good execution of the theme! Graphic is on-point. Took me a bit of time to grasp the strategy, so here's an advice if you're struggling - the X button is your friend.

@rend Thank you for playing! There are actually (a little bit of) consequences to the choices we make, with three ending scenes based on what memories were left at the end: sunny, cloudy or darkness. It could definitely use more polish in that (and a lot other) aspect though!
I love this game so much...It's cute, fun, and extremely well executed. I had a smile on my face the whole time. Thank you so much for letting me have a good time. I really appreciate it. Lots of 5's being thrown out here!

There we go, the first pun-inspired entry of this LD. Definitely interesting mechanics, though I personally found it quite difficult - not surprising given that I suck at ordinary platformers too.

Short but (bitter)sweet, the story accurately captures that feeling where a lot of us have frequently experienced, but rarely noticed. Pixel art is superb. I especially like the part where she goes to bed after an exhausting day.

Great game!!! It would be even funnier if there's some elements related to the amount of damage caused by reckless parking, in which case I will, without a doubt, top every chart.

I've always wanted to make a space-based rhythm game, so needless to say I've thoroughly enjoyed this one. Very well done. The visual is superb.
I very rarely attempt to promote my own game in other people's comment section, but I think our game shares quite a bit of odd similarity - so please feel free to check out mine as well.
@sirlich thanks!! D is quite trivial, F basically copies the entire current universe (screen), randomize the position, scale (always shrinking) and rotation, then puts it back on the screen.
And yes I made all 4 soundtracks used in this one :)

This is a highly polished game! Great take on the theme and an interesting twist on a classic.
