Very nice game overall. I found it to be somewhat difficult. But this proves excellently that simplicity can be an attractive factor when creating games. Thumbs up!
Great graphics, audio and interesting idea for the theme. Not bad at all, good work.
graphics and UI are great. I really like the music and sounds. keep up the great work.
Nicely put together. I liked how the game lasted a while and didn't feel repetitive. Music was a perfect match for the gameplay.
Simple but effective game mechanic! Was pretty fun to play, good job! Became quite challenging at some point managing your resources while lacking military guys to prevent damage against your ships. Well done!
Fun little game. Danger ramps up fast. And very soothing audio.
Really fun to play, with nice sounds and chill music. Confusing at the start but understood really quickly.
Great idea! However if you try to put passenger into broken ship (which was fixed, not bought again) than passegner gets stuck in the middle of the screen bug.png
UI/Art looks really nice. Tried seeing how fast I could go... didn't end well hehe. Anyways congratulations on the game!
Quite a lovely game, really great audio and graphics especially! Well done :)
Very fun game, took a moment to figure out you can upgrade ships to have more passengers, but the rest of the UI was very self explenatory. Good job!
Very well executed and really neat design!
@karlo5o hey thanks, you just pointed me to a game breaking bug. It should be fixed now!
Love the concept! Great art and UI.
Good job!
very fun and interesting game! took me a while to understand how to play but overall very fun and well made game
Very clean! Awesome work! Sadly it never got hard enough, so eventually I just had to quit out: Capture.PNG
One thing I noticed was that it said 6 to repair the big ships, but that it only really cost 2. Maybe a steeper cost in repairs could have made the game harder late game.
Nice! super impressive art and animations. I'm not a programmer, so no notes there, but as a composer I can say I loved the music and sound. great vibe overall
Solid game! I managed to get 144. I had a good time and the art was very nice. I would've preferred a slightly more gentle difficulty curve, but thats mostly because i want to play more!
Really adicted game i took a bit of time to understand how to play but after it was quite fun, the art also look great.
@airwaffle thanks for pointing out this bug!! The cost should be the one displayed on the button, but even like that, it's true that the endgame is less engaging. Balancing a game in 3 days is pretty hard
I was really starting to get into this game after I got the hang of it. Great work. What does "entice" do? I spent a lot of money doing that thinking I was getting military people who could lower the threat levels. But that didn't seem to be the case.
Amazing on all front guys! Super fun, kinda hard to understand how the values change but once you get the idea it flows amazingly. The stowaway mechanic is perfect
@johnsensei "Entice" is a bit like when you buy new cards in a deck builder game. I wanted to keep the metaphor of you running a travel agency and them being your customers, so "recruit" or "buy" didn't feel right. I've added instructions to understand how the game works cause it's true it was a bit obtuse. Thanks a lot for you comment!
I love the look of the exhaust plume! Great game! I had a lot of fun.
This was my most played game so far and my favourite, I gave you 5/5 for everything. It's so well put together. I bookmarked it to play it more later. Good job!
@sean-esopenko Wow, thanks for the super nice comment, I'm really glad you liked it so much!
Nice puzzle! I loved the art style and the overall feeling of the game. And it's quite challenging. I enjoyed the "deck builder" aspect with the pilots.
This is a cool game! Really fun and playable. Once I noticed the 'repair' and 'upgrade' buttons I was off to the races. The stowaway mechanic is a great randomized punishment. One of my favorites I've played so far from the jam.
Clearer directions/descriptions of passengers would go a long way to smoothing out the learning curve here, but that's a minor complaint.
209 is my high score!
Really clean looking game, congrats on submission!
It looks like a fun game, but I think the instructions are a bit unclear. It took a while to understand the threat system.
Nice pixel graphics. Simple and addictive gameplay. I like it.
this is a really addicting game and really good pixel art. Loved it. My score so far is 38  . Quick question, is the rocket blast off's fire particles generated through code or is it a spritesheet ? because it looks really amazing.
@smiley405 The particle sprite is just one simple white cloud shape. There are actually two emitters, one with a color gradient from red to black (through orange and yellow), and one with just faded white for the smoke. What sells it is that there's an invisible plane to make it like the smoke/flames are actually stopped by the ground.
Nice graphics and mood of the game! Cool game mechanics as well!
One of the most rounded games I played this jam. Decent artstyle and animations, chilling background music, great tutorial and simple but addicting gameplay. Great entry
Cool concept, I love it
Wow, it really comes together. That's a nice one. Nothing too fancy, but it caught my attention for a good 20 minutes.
Super cute graphics and awesome music!
very juicy, great presentation
Took me a little bit to understand the game, but once I did I got a solid run and had a lot of fun, got exactly 500! Capture.JPG The balance on this game was really well done, at first I didn't understand the characters with the X-> symbol but eventually as I started discarding, I figured out why those are tricky, damn stowaways! I also thought it'd be nice to have science do more after all ships are upgraded, but in a way having the useless cards in the deck was another form of a challenge. Really well done alltogether. The graphics were nice and fitting for the game too. The fix ship button sometimes wouldn't appear without some mouse wigglin which was a tad frustrating, and I found one glitch where upgrading a ship makes the card disappear. Other than those nitpicks, well done!
