Actually think you nailed it on the swinging movement, when you chain it together just right its actually a really smooth movement through the cave if you can time it all out right. The game was fun I didn't even realize until the 4th or 5th run that it was a seeded generated cave, very cool stuff!

This was actually very fun, the pacing of combat and upgrades was really solid I felt like I was never getting bored shooting before I got to claim another upgrade. Definitely some small tweaks would make some strong improvements like having a reticle to indicate where you're about to shoot so its not just like the general forwards direction and some more variety of areas or enemies would be fun, but really excellent and fun and overly gore-y gameplay so no real complaints here!

This was pretty fun! Definitely the pacing could be sped up (or at least let me click through dialogs) but the gameplay was quirky and silly and it's a great bit making fun of the potion hoarders out there. It wasn't clear to me whether or not my potions carried between fights or not or if that was just a joke part of the game? But overall great idea and fun game!

Very cool entry, had a lot of fun! Definitely vibed with the pixel art grungy dark aesthetic and thought you packed a ton of variety of attack options in a jam game. Definitely the main thing that needs improvement is how you swap attacks. Having to move the mouse off the arena to mouse over something disengages you too much from the active gameplay, maybe a radial pop out menu that also pauses or slows down gameplay while you're switching? Not sure but otherwise very solid game!

First of all, I cannot believe that this is a functioning sega genesis rom. I literally downloaded a sega genesis emulator just to run it and couldn't believe it worked. So mega (pun intended) props to you for that. As for the entry itself, I liked it a lot! Very funky, edgy, weird, and visually incredible. Had a lot of fun and was very impressed!

Some small feedback is that the text elements are a little blurry and the sound effects could go a lot farther if you randomize the pitch of the sound when it plays slightly so its not as repetitive (specifically the collect snake sound was really repetitive). Very fun point and click micro-game! Definitely a lot of iSpy type gameplay which can sometimes feel slow but I had a lot of fun just looking through every sprite to find the odd one out. Also love the theming and the spritework for each ludumon. Definitely wish there were more twists to uncover and mixing of mechanics from earlier levels (i.e. you have to find a female AND shiny ludumon or something), but overall very solid!

Awesome entry who doesn't love a number go up game? I think the theming was very clever being a lawn mower cutting grass and avoiding asteroids instead of rocks. Overall very strong entry visually, gameplay was really smooth and fun, the high score board was a nice touch, and I had a very fun time and greatly appreciated the controller support!

I found the puzzles to be interesting and fun and I loved at the end going back through to collect all the final bits. I thought the loop of the game was tight, smooth, and a great time!

Was surprised you had to solve it in exactly the minimum number of moves. I would have maybe made some leeway for players who make 1 or two mistakes and give them a bonus for doing it in the fewest number of moves, but definitely added some great challenge!

Could use some improvement on the design language of what is interactable and what is just aesthetic or background art (because theres so much good background art in this game!) Nice work overall

I think these would have been easier to pick up a couple at a time vs having to memorize all of them immediately but understand it's difficult to do all of these in the scope of a jam. This is great! Your 3D models and animations are great, and the little living room you've created is very detailed and great to look at! The game is great although of course you begin to learn the paths the cats take. It looks like they are hard coded paths, but maybe look into finding a way to determine a random spawn location for cats and to use a pathfinding algorithm to get to the fish! Will save you a lot of work and keeps your game fresh. Great work!

The controls were really clean and easy to grasp, love the shop, but a sound effect when you buy things would have been nice to confirm to the player that the purchase went through. The robot lazers I wish were bullets just like the player (could have even reused the prefab to save work effort?) But great entry!

It feels like you had a really great game idea but ran out of time :(. I will say the tone of your tutorial messages were hilarious and you should keep that humor going into future projects! I still had fun shooting the enemies with the cannon except that there's a reticle in the middle making me think I'll shoot where I'm aiming but the shots just go straight forward and hit the ground after a few feet. But great idea! Would love to see a finished product if you ever find time

Took me a minute to realize my own bullets could hurt my core! Really unique mechanic, but I felt it was unfair when you core starts spinning really fast because at that point you can't even really time your shots to not hit your core. But very cool idea, strong work!

Nice work. Really great asthetically and great audio choices. I found the puzzles simple but quick and fast paced which you need for a game like this. My only issue was the UI was bleeding off the screen. Make sure you switch the canvas scaler in unity to scale based on screen size and make sure to move around the Free aspect view to make sure your UI fits no matter what!

Nice work! Game is very responsive and controls are great. The rules of the game were a little unclear and I was struggling to see why I was losing until I re-read the instructions. Also I wish that I maintained my horizontal velocity while jet packing, otherwise jet packing feels slow. Jet packing should never feel slow it should feel amazing!

Movement was really clean easy to control. Little UI consideration is that the mouse icon for right clicking made me think I was supposed to left click since it was the part of the icon different than the rest of the mouse. I wish there were more sticks to pick up around the area and the environment didn't just fade into the void.

Very funny story, and love the grapple mechanic except that I wasn't ever sure how to release the grapple and I ended up getting stuck against the wall and dying to aliens. I also unfortunately clipped out of bounds somehow... But other than that great little top down shooter!

This is a great idea. The cards are very funny and getting to add your own name is a great touch. However at some point it stops being a story game and is just a math game and a luck game, which might have been the ultimate goal. I think there's a great opportunity at the end to show some of the best scenarios you fixed like "PersonA slept with someone else, but they serenaded and had sex with Person B to make it better!" as like a highlight reel. Great work!

Great work! Really fun and great looking top down shooter. I've got 2 pieces of feedback: 1. it was unclear to me how much health everything had so maybe health bars might have been something to add that could be helpful. 2. It's missing a bit of essential juice. You've got great visual effects, glowing, lighting, sound effects, etc. But nothing feels worse than hitting a shot on an enemy and the shot just dissapears. No explosion? No sound effect? It really diminishes the feeling of a great shooter.

Your voice acting is great. Please put it in all future projects! "A game where you keep a balloon in the air" was one of my brainstormed ideas for this jam initially but you really did a great job with it. Controls were fair and responsive, creative obstacles slowly made their way into the scene, and the game really gets more hectic and interesting as the game goes on. Only feedback is it often felt unfair to have to mouse cursor over to choose something to buy and distracted from gameplay. Maybe map the shop items to numbers on the keyboard? Great work

This was super fun and very silly. The death screen is just gold. The fact that his eyebrows turn at an angle when you die is hilarious. Love the unconventional moving mechanic. Presents the challenge of the game like QWOP without being as hard as QWOP. My only feedback is you could have taken a few minutes out to choose some textures or simple particle effects for some of the objects like the flying balls. I'm not sure if you're familiar with unity's particle system but its really easy to use and just throw on some rising red particles for lava or have some stuff follow behind the balls to really sell how fast they move through the air, etc. Great work!

Strong game! I usually find wall jumping mechanics in games to be very finicky and hard to master but this one was pretty easy to grasp and use so kudos to you! I agree with some of the above comments that the falling damage was frustrating really just because it was unclear to me exactly at what height and speed I would lose because of it. But your artwork is great and the color pallet for the whole game is really cool!

Great mechanic! I can see it expanding well for a puzzle game. Especially if you added in multiple cats or people to heat up or keep warm. My only feedback would be that it might have been easier to see spatially if it was straight top down instead of from the side. Sometimes I would think that I was on a certain line that I was not. Really great feel for a top down shooter. Very Enter the Gungeon - esque. Your lighting effects are great and really sell the dark area with glowing shots and robots really well. 2 points of feedback: 1. The colliders for the enemies sometimes miss. Sometimes my shots go through enemies sprites and dont hurt them. A great rule of thumb is to always err your colliders size in the way thats most compelling for the players. Enemy hit boxes and collectibles should be BIGGER than normal so the player doesn't feel robbed of getting something or hitting an enemy and things like player hit boxes should be smaller than usual so the player can feel like they narrowly skimmed past a shot. 2. Your sprite work is solid, but a super easy thing to fix for your future work is that you're choosing a really large canvas for pixel art. You're filling in large part of tiles and characters with just a block of color many pixels wide and tall. The beauty of pixel art is you only need a 16x16 canvas to convey your image and the player's mind will fill in the missing information. Consider that Madeline from Celeste is a 16 pixel tall sprite and has TONS of detail in it! But the fact that you made DIAGONAL sprites for your player is very impressive and hard to pull off. Well done!

Nice work. Was the adaptive audio for the music? Really impressive addition for a game jam entry. Only feedback is I think the graphics were a little inconsistent in style like if you're going to illustrate the character you might as well also illustrate a box to be the tiles that you're gonna place everywhere to keep the whole game aesthetically consistent. It's also not super time consuming to take an extra 2 minutes to draw a simple box tile for your game and I think it would add a lot. Great entry!

This is very very well done. The slow ramp up in difficulty is really nice. My only complaint is that navigating around corners is a little annoying sometimes, but besides that I was always on my toes getting health and ammo and upgrading the ship. I didn't really see a benefit to upgrading the size of the ship except having more health and ammo stations?
