Conjury: The Convocation the RPG by unpronounceable 2019-10-10T02:13:40Z

Love the idea but very complicated to learn. Also with this much complications there must be cheese somewhere to abuse the mechanics like putting everything into bluffing. But really interesting game. Well done

Abstractio by loyance 2019-10-10T01:17:12Z

Pretty cool, very doodle-god-esque. Really enjoyed. Your graphics and feel are really clean and responsive, but i got stuck after the 5th additional thing and couldn't figure out where to go next.. sad :(

No Body's Problem by MaggardJosh 2019-10-07T05:10:16Z

Woah this is great! Super well done puzzle game. The last level had me restarting like 5-6 times before I got it. Really inventive mechanic, great spritework, great animations. Only feedback I would give is jsut that I wished the background was at least a gradient over a solid color. Strong work

Singularity by PixelMonkey 2019-10-07T00:12:28Z

Really cool game! The graphics and sounds compliment eachother really nicely and although its just a simple platformer I had a ton of fun playing and it was very satisfying to hit the return key and get the next level transition and sound after every level!

Ultra Quest by 100th_Coin 2019-10-07T00:32:39Z

This was awesome. Graphics were insane and transitions were clean. The level of juice is awesome. Only complaint is the rock throw mechanic was a little wonky sometimes and I don't know what the crown did, but great work!

Farm Fortress 2 by kroltan 2019-10-10T01:42:24Z

This is really well done and probably the closest thing to a fully fledged game I've played so far. The progression is really clear and easy to understand, it's like a classic idle game like cookie clicker. I'm only confused why sometimes you have to click the collect button and other times it collects it for you?

Ex Nihilo by Delightfullymad 2019-10-07T01:27:03Z

Woah, awesome game. Aesthetics are gorgeous. Simple, elegant, beautiful. Only sad part was when my big particle just stayed in the bottom right of screen and didn't move, but very cool very fun game.

March of the Gladiators by FinalForeach 2019-10-10T02:19:57Z

Definitely one of the more fun games I've played but I couldn't even get past the second round! Controls felt very tight but it was hard to get a grip on exactly when to punch and dodge and which direction to dodge. Very fun game

The Hunt For KNOWLEDGE by Sode 2019-10-07T05:28:48Z

I kinda liked how hard it was to figure out how to do anything. Kinda makes it its own game within the game

Broke af by coachsisyphus 2019-10-10T01:55:38Z

This was very abstract in a very good way. Thank you for making this. THe maze is just a little unfair because the perspective is a little weird from the side, but other than that very cool entry

No Game Here by Cpokered 2019-10-07T00:00:57Z

Windows version wont play because no unity.dll file... help!

Rainbow Restoration by CrubeYawne 2019-10-07T00:20:22Z

I was not ready for how cute the rainbow was gonna be. Great work! Your animations could be a lot more active and lifelike with just a few more frames for walking and idling. Great puzzle, I was able to figure it out with no explanation which means it was a good puzzle!

Woodland Zero by Shredmer 2019-10-10T01:58:22Z

This is an awesome idea "What if tetris was a 2D platformer?" Really clean exciting active gameplay very polished very juicy, I really dont have any feedback except maybe made the difficulty curve start lower for people who aren't as intense of gamers, but really solid entry well done.

Pimp my voxel by TheoG 2019-10-08T02:10:22Z

This is definitely one of the more creative games I've seen. I love that not only choosing which blocks to use but also WHERE to place them is part of the puzzle. I just wanted the speed modifiers to be more extreme it was hard to tell how much faster you moved when you had them vs when you didn't. Great work

Blank Slate by PixelMeal 2019-10-07T05:45:19Z

Woah this is a super neat puzzle. Really challenging in a good way

Scrap Attack by TheseusInABottle 2019-10-07T00:06:28Z

Cool game! Very cute little robot the aesthetic is on point! Maybe have the camera follow behind the robot so the moving left and right doesn't get confusing as the robot turns around

Genesis 1 (God Simulator Procedually Generated) by Ausstein 2019-10-10T01:51:12Z

I didn't know I needed plains of will smith and wolves and roaming houses. 6/5 stars for humor. From an actual gameplay perspective also very cool though if you could have this kind of choice when generating like a minecraft world, it could be very very cool. Great entry, had me laughing very hard

VoidTech by loganthemanster 2019-10-08T17:27:35Z

That was an awesome story. Really atmospheric and spooky and weird and funny all at the same time. Only feedback I would give is to clean up loose text triggers like after you go to the first terminal and do the task you shouldn't get the same text to tell you to do it again after its complete, but other than that great entry.

Project Snowball by neverix 2019-10-07T05:32:33Z

This was surprisingly very charming for such a simple game. Very cool

Nothing left for Jim! by GreenDinoGames 2019-10-10T01:09:15Z

Hahaha oh my lord this is my favorite entry I've played so far. I laughed the entire time. Pretty hard too! took me many deaths to complete the game! Only feedback would be make the controls a bit tighter and easier to control it felt a bit slidy but great idea, hilarious graphics, well done

LD45 - Square World by ZwodahS 2019-10-07T05:19:40Z

This is awesome. Probably more on the "simulator" side of things, but very cool veyr fun to mess around and see what happens.

Oh Dam! by Adam Konig 2019-10-07T01:53:00Z

@tacokhun thanks for the feedback! Spent hours trying to get it to work using raycasts, physics spheres, etc. this was the best that came from that

Oh Dam! by Adam Konig 2019-10-07T16:13:28Z

@tero-pulkkinen Thanks for the feedback! Was the fullscreen button not working? Also if you download the file instead of playing the webGL you can choose your window size

Jimbo's Ten Gallon Jamboree by fizzyjoe908 2019-10-08T02:24:16Z

I am shocked with how much you were able to put into this game in just the weekend. Really well done. I just wish there were more explanation about what to do because that water thing at the beginning by the bar killed me 5 times before I realized I had to eat the food. But art style is great and story is great and humor is awesome

Knight of Redemption by Yeomsley 2019-10-10T02:27:26Z

Pretty fun, but a little too weird for my tastes personally, as silly as the crazy rotating ostradiges on rocks are they seem out of place with a dungeon of slimes and bees. My feedback would be make every enemy a crazy weird one or make them all "normal" but don't go halfway! Great work

Devour by vivienw 2019-10-07T01:19:46Z

coudlnt play the game... cant find any of the .dll files...

From Space by AskingQuestions 2019-10-07T01:51:31Z

This is very very well done. The slow ramp up in difficulty is really nice. My only complaint is that navigating around corners is a little annoying sometimes, but besides that I was always on my toes getting health and ammo and upgrading the ship. I didn't really see a benefit to upgrading the size of the ship except having more health and ammo stations?

Allow by Mikeality 2019-10-10T02:09:57Z

I think you could have put more focus on the collecting goals aspect! You may have spent too much time making a platformer.. but really solid controls and pretty fun game!

REWRITER by johjoh 2019-10-07T04:52:44Z

This is a great new take on rougelikes. Very unique. Pretty difficult but I guess that's the point of the genre. Your animations are really clean and energic. Only frustrating thing was being able to hit the enemies with them not also hitting you at the same time

Empty box by Corentin Benoit-Gonin 2019-10-08T06:22:29Z

This was very wholesome. Thank you for making this.

Hangman With Nothing by frankhjwx 2019-10-09T04:02:55Z

This is a very clean game. Juice is great very responsive fun to play. I think having to guess the same letter twice to get both instances of it isn't how hangman is typically played, but I had a lot of fun. Well done

Priest of RAGE by TheVideoGamester 2019-10-07T01:44:02Z

Fun concept! I really liked the upgrading but after about 50 plays it got a little monotonous. I was hoping one of the upgrade would have been like "double coins" or something to push you on in the late game

Idle Twit by Josh Aaron Miller 2019-10-10T00:59:04Z

THis is an extremely creative idea. The tweets are hilarious really well done. It was hard to see a correlation between my actions and what points i got, but very fun to mess around. Great submission

Stylemancer by mattdotam 2019-10-08T02:04:22Z

That was actually dope. I love a good coding game. Great for teaching CSS to a newbie, could be very cool online resource one day for someone. Also loved the intro really clean spooky atmospheric. Only feedback I would give would be to add some more sprites for tiles and such but you said that was all you could do in the time you had so I say great job

Build up Speed by CantThinkOfName 2019-10-07T05:16:22Z

This is awesome. I have never laugh so hard when after like 50 trainings and adding speed winning the race to a single message that just says "You Won" I love this game. Thank you for making this game.

Cell by SirRed 2019-10-10T01:05:04Z

Nice work. Was the adaptive audio for the music? Really impressive addition for a game jam entry. Only feedback is I think the graphics were a little inconsistent in style like if you're going to illustrate the character you might as well also illustrate a box to be the tiles that you're gonna place everywhere to keep the whole game aesthetically consistent. It's also not super time consuming to take an extra 2 minutes to draw a simple box tile for your game and I think it would add a lot. Great entry!

LD46 — Keep it alive

Bobbleheads want to dance by jk5000 2020-04-23T00:07:24Z

Besides my hand hurting this was one of my favorite entries so far. Love your voice acting and the little story that comes with the game. And really it DID feel like a little party once the police officer comes and that's really due to your great pacing and atmosphere you provided. Well done

Fifteen Minutes of Flame by Mark Smith 2020-04-23T00:18:08Z

Great survival game! It was kind of hard to find all the initial tools since you get the torch last and the scene is already pretty dark and just gets darker. Maybe having a bit more raw materials closer to the fire initially would be helpful, but the atmosphere and gameplay are very strong. Well done

Motobot Defender by pkenney 2020-04-23T00:37:01Z

For a first 3D game this is great. The audio combo sounds are great love that they rise in pitch as you make combos. The bike was super fun to ride around even if you weren't attacking enemies. Only feedback would be more attack patterns as it gets repetitive, but great entry overall!

Supply Squad by Inventivum Games 2020-04-21T23:04:29Z

Great work! Really fun and great looking top down shooter. I've got 2 pieces of feedback: 1. it was unclear to me how much health everything had so maybe health bars might have been something to add that could be helpful. 2. It's missing a bit of essential juice. You've got great visual effects, glowing, lighting, sound effects, etc. But nothing feels worse than hitting a shot on an enemy and the shot just dissapears. No explosion? No sound effect? It really diminishes the feeling of a great shooter.

LD Jam 46 Keep It Alive by brandann 2020-04-22T23:55:41Z

Nice work! Pretty tough game initially since the partner just follows you around and you can't control (maybe future feature to control partner?) Was one of the sound effects a microwave beep or a car unlock beep? If so, very funny.I had a lot of fun, but I was little confused as to where exactly to go? Also I know what you were going for with the font but it was really hard to read. Great entry keep up the strong work!

Dungeon Petscort by jwiggs 2020-04-21T22:20:06Z

Really great feel for a top down shooter. Very Enter the Gungeon - esque. Your lighting effects are great and really sell the dark area with glowing shots and robots really well. 2 points of feedback: 1. The colliders for the enemies sometimes miss. Sometimes my shots go through enemies sprites and dont hurt them. A great rule of thumb is to always err your colliders size in the way thats most compelling for the players. Enemy hit boxes and collectibles should be BIGGER than normal so the player doesn't feel robbed of getting something or hitting an enemy and things like player hit boxes should be smaller than usual so the player can feel like they narrowly skimmed past a shot. 2. Your sprite work is solid, but a super easy thing to fix for your future work is that you're choosing a really large canvas for pixel art. You're filling in large part of tiles and characters with just a block of color many pixels wide and tall. The beauty of pixel art is you only need a 16x16 canvas to convey your image and the player's mind will fill in the missing information. Consider that Madeline from Celeste is a 16 pixel tall sprite and has TONS of detail in it! But the fact that you made DIAGONAL sprites for your player is very impressive and hard to pull off. Well done!

Dr. Glebin's Electric Brain by Daniel Alhadeff 2020-04-21T23:37:24Z

Nice work. Really great asthetically and great audio choices. I found the puzzles simple but quick and fast paced which you need for a game like this. My only issue was the UI was bleeding off the screen. Make sure you switch the canvas scaler in unity to scale based on screen size and make sure to move around the Free aspect view to make sure your UI fits no matter what!

Keep The Power Plant Alive by rich 2020-04-22T23:13:56Z

It feels like you had a really great game idea but ran out of time :(. I will say the tone of your tutorial messages were hilarious and you should keep that humor going into future projects! I still had fun shooting the enemies with the cannon except that there's a reticle in the middle making me think I'll shoot where I'm aiming but the shots just go straight forward and hit the ground after a few feet. But great idea! Would love to see a finished product if you ever find time

Get off my Planet! by CrumblyBread 2020-04-22T23:49:25Z

Nice top down shooter! The controls were really clean and easy to grasp, love the shop, but a sound effect when you buy things would have been nice to confirm to the player that the purchase went through. The robot lazers I wish were bullets just like the player (could have even reused the prefab to save work effort?) But great entry!

Your Pet Alien by AdonisDevs 2020-04-25T23:54:30Z

The voice acting was definitely a bit creepy, but the game play was really smooth, never glitchy and the gameplay was very clear to understand. I think it just needs a little more polish on the themeing of the game. is supposed to be silly? creepy? both? Great entry!

CORRUPT TUNDRA by keanutah 2020-04-21T23:30:31Z

Nice work! Game is very responsive and controls are great. The rules of the game were a little unclear and I was struggling to see why I was losing until I re-read the instructions. Also I wish that I maintained my horizontal velocity while jet packing, otherwise jet packing feels slow. Jet packing should never feel slow it should feel amazing!

Balloony by Ryfi 2020-04-21T22:57:21Z

Your voice acting is great. Please put it in all future projects! "A game where you keep a balloon in the air" was one of my brainstormed ideas for this jam initially but you really did a great job with it. Controls were fair and responsive, creative obstacles slowly made their way into the scene, and the game really gets more hectic and interesting as the game goes on. Only feedback is it often felt unfair to have to mouse cursor over to choose something to buy and distracted from gameplay. Maybe map the shop items to numbers on the keyboard? Great work

Daisy Danger by Reef 2020-04-24T04:39:04Z

I love Pico-8 Entries! Very clean top down defend the castle game. Gameplat was quick, easy to understand, and quickly ramped up in difficulty. Great audio effects as well. Would make a great arcade game. Only feedback would be to make the difficulty curve more gentle as it ramps up pretty quick, but great entry!

Dying Spark by snail 2020-04-22T23:07:20Z

Took me a minute to realize my own bullets could hurt my core! Really unique mechanic, but I felt it was unfair when you core starts spinning really fast because at that point you can't even really time your shots to not hit your core. But very cool idea, strong work!

Don't Drop The Egg! by rk3Omega 2020-04-21T22:45:23Z

Strong game! I usually find wall jumping mechanics in games to be very finicky and hard to master but this one was pretty easy to grasp and use so kudos to you! I agree with some of the above comments that the falling damage was frustrating really just because it was unclear to me exactly at what height and speed I would lose because of it. But your artwork is great and the color pallet for the whole game is really cool!

QUBOR The Cubic Robot by deniskazantsev 2020-04-21T22:51:18Z

This was super fun and very silly. The death screen is just gold. The fact that his eyebrows turn at an angle when you die is hilarious. Love the unconventional moving mechanic. Presents the challenge of the game like QWOP without being as hard as QWOP. My only feedback is you could have taken a few minutes out to choose some textures or simple particle effects for some of the objects like the flying balls. I'm not sure if you're familiar with unity's particle system but its really easy to use and just throw on some rising red particles for lava or have some stuff follow behind the balls to really sell how fast they move through the air, etc. Great work!

Treewatcher by xpost2000 2020-04-23T00:52:30Z

Great tower defense game. Love the strictly ASCII art, it look great so long as it's consistent! The gameplay was really fun, the rounds are exciting and have great audio. I just wish there were more varied units to place and varied enemies. Great work

PIXIE DUST: Tale of the wingless! by Bazerka 2020-04-23T00:23:32Z

Cool platformer! The visuals are great, the glowing effects really make it feel magical like there are fairies around. The controls were a little hard to master since the keys were just in sort of random parts of the keyboard, but great entry!

Boids of Prey by Shawn Moore 2020-04-23T00:32:26Z

I LOVE this kind of entry. SUPER basic sprite work but with great audio choices and visual effects and slow motion it was SUPER fun to play. Great work all around, great story, love the abilities you gain, it had a nice difficulty curve. This was an exceptionally clean and strong entry

Eradication by SpacialSeasoning 2020-04-21T23:14:52Z

Very funny story, and love the grapple mechanic except that I wasn't ever sure how to release the grapple and I ended up getting stuck against the wall and dying to aliens. I also unfortunately clipped out of bounds somehow... But other than that great little top down shooter!

Fish in Peril by GreenDinoGames 2020-04-23T00:01:04Z

This is great! Your 3D models and animations are great, and the little living room you've created is very detailed and great to look at! The game is great although of course you begin to learn the paths the cats take. It looks like they are hard coded paths, but maybe look into finding a way to determine a random spawn location for cats and to use a pathfinding algorithm to get to the fish! Will save you a lot of work and keeps your game fresh. Great work!

Pollinate by Adam Konig 2020-04-19T19:36:24Z

PLEASE comment if any of the builds are not working!! Thanks yall! <3

Pollinate by Adam Konig 2020-04-20T00:30:45Z

@mrvarren Try it again now! I was making some last minute changes earlier but they should be resolved now :)

Pollinate by Adam Konig 2020-04-20T14:40:16Z

@ubershmekel Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm so glad your kids loved it!!! I agree with the "P" thing, I even debug logged the input to find that sometimes unity would register input.getkeydown twice in a frame, and once other times with no explanation :( I didn't want players to be stuck with pollen they didn't want for too long but thats good feedback so thank you again!

Pollinate by Adam Konig 2020-04-21T23:23:35Z

@bbkate98 thanks so much! @rk3omega Thanks! I totally agree with the environment. It's hard to place random rocks and trees randomly but also intentionally to make them look natural. @ponypen It's funny you say that I spent a good 30 minutes trying to angle a box collider to make the roof a collidable object and got so frusterated I just left it out but good feedback! @keanutah I love that! I wasn't sure if I could call it a "game" without some object like having a score, but you're so right that I should lean into the creative side. @rixium Thats fair! I had a friend say he also struggled with the controls and would have preferred mouse aiming and just strafing WASD controls, but I was afriad that would be even harder. Thanks everyone for playing! <3

Pollinate by Adam Konig 2020-04-22T15:46:40Z

@deniskazantsev thank you! I try to make a quick and dirty tutorial for game jams because I know people don't love having to read a paragraph on the game's page before they can play. I'm glad you appreciated it! @makkurataichou Thanks so much! Glad you loved it! @daniel-alhadeff Thanks! By middle of saturday I realized I had only done 3D modeling and no programming but I think it paid off. I definitely hear you on the performance side. I tried super hard to go back through my models and reduce poly's and have a bunch of objects not create shadows to ease the load but I know for many the game slows down as you get more flowers. Will definitely look into GPU instancing! The sky glow was a result of some tweaking of Unity's URP post processing bloom effect so definitely look there while you're checking out the source code!

Pollinate by Adam Konig 2020-04-23T00:18:34Z

@seriouslycrunchy thanks so much!

Pollinate by Adam Konig 2020-04-23T15:49:19Z

@pennycook thanks so much! I definitely get that. I had my family playtest and they too were a bit confused even after the tutorial on how pollination worked. Great feedback @rich , @jk5000 thank yall so much! @greendinogames I'm so glad you remember Oh Dam! I'll be sure to participate in LD47 in October. That's idea totally makes sense thanks for the feedback! @nate-wert thanks! I hear you on the slow downs. I tried super hard to reduce poly counts and do some perf improvements but it just wasn't enough.. I'll have to take some time out to learn things like GPU instancing and other ways to improve performance. Thanks for the feedback!

Pollinate by Adam Konig 2020-04-24T04:42:39Z

@francescopanini thanks! I'm glad you appreciated the camera change! And yes, sorry about the performance issues!! @snail So glad you thought it was beautiful <3 I totally feel the score thing. It was a last minute addition because without it I didn't feel like I could call it a "game" necessarily, but I agree that it doesn't really fit the feeling of the game. @pkenney thanks so much! I wanted to make a game where you go at your own pace instead of feeling rushed so I'm glad that paid of in learning the controls. @zesix Thanks so much <3!

Pollinate by Adam Konig 2020-04-27T15:14:30Z

@jamessauer Thanks so much! I think you might be the first person to actually fill the entire garden!

ERROR 404 by Nate Wert 2020-04-23T00:44:51Z

Really funny, great voice acting and pretty solid 3D modeling for a game jam. Had a fun time playing, but was a little confused on where to go at some points. Great work!

Keep the Party Alive by Jirushi 2020-04-21T23:19:13Z

Movement was really clean easy to control. Little UI consideration is that the mouse icon for right clicking made me think I was supposed to left click since it was the part of the icon different than the rest of the mouse. I wish there were more sticks to pick up around the area and the environment didn't just fade into the void.

Cupid's Arrow Inc. Difficult Cases Division by SolitudeDude 2020-04-21T23:10:22Z

This is a great idea. The cards are very funny and getting to add your own name is a great touch. However at some point it stops being a story game and is just a math game and a luck game, which might have been the ultimate goal. I think there's a great opportunity at the end to show some of the best scenarios you fixed like "PersonA slept with someone else, but they serenaded and had sex with Person B to make it better!" as like a highlight reel. Great work!

Maintenance by bereg 2020-04-20T00:45:10Z

Mac build wasn't working for me :(

The Undivine Comedy by JamesSauer 2020-04-23T15:53:34Z

This is easily one of the most creative entries I've played so far. The idea of having to play as a ghost who weekend at bernie's's every dead actor to keep the play alive is gold. I too like other above wasn't sure how I beat the game exactly but the idea and execution for the bit I did play was so genius that I was okay with it. Well done!

Heat of the Moment by Uraffululz 2020-04-21T22:31:31Z

Great mechanic! I can see it expanding well for a puzzle game. Especially if you added in multiple cats or people to heat up or keep warm. My only feedback would be that it might have been easier to see spatially if it was straight top down instead of from the side. Sometimes I would think that I was on a certain line that I was not. Great work

LD52 — Harvest

Not Mushroom for Error by TerraCottaFrog 2023-01-20T06:24:19Z

Great vibe great entry very polished and clean and snappy. Loved it!

Raise the Dead for Fun and Profit by ben_burnes 2023-01-09T17:38:03Z

Super fun entry! Really polished and easy to understand, had a lot of fun growing my grid to get more clears in a given combination. I think it suffers from the same issue as other similarly laid out games which is that even though I DO want to watch the little battle going on above, I never have a chance to look up because I'm focused so hard on clearing tiles. Great work!

Beeline by francoisvn 2023-01-23T23:00:36Z

Very cool entry. Very calming and nice and simple and made for a very polished experience! I'm not sure how the movement distance was calculated but wasn't a huge issue for clicking around to play :)

Scarecrow Attack by digitaldude555 2023-01-10T22:17:59Z

I did not expect to have so much fun. My favorite part was the crows! Very well executed!!

Plantus Infestantibus by WilloXs 2023-01-11T17:21:36Z

This was so much fun! Only small feedback I had was making the camera movements a bit faster as I felt like the camera was dragging and I was at the edge of the screen all the time. Otherwise, loved the graphics and feel of this game. SO GOOD

Planetary Mining CO. by Mcnuttys 2023-01-15T20:15:30Z

Very satisfying to watch all the little space ships harvest all at once. Some great tech made here as well for the planet randomization and controls were simple snappy and read really well from a UX perspective. Wish there was more to do with the resources but had a lot fun! Great entry

Harvest Looper by madcoil 2023-01-15T20:05:45Z

Nice work! Very solid platformer and twin stick shooting mechanics. Love the UI detail of the red line to tell you where the monsters are. I did hit one small bug where I hit what I think was the bottom of the game world and then the monsters spawned below me? Nice work overall though!

Apple Harvester by rhewid 2023-01-15T20:21:53Z

Very solid entry. Simple and intuitive mechanics and bug free! I think accidentally catching bad apples could have been more punishing as ultimately if I just sprinted across the screen I wouldn't lose too many points from accidentally catching a bad apple. Great work!

Hustle Harvest by plexsoup 2023-01-10T22:32:02Z

I love the idea! The pieces that are available are very well done and clean. Can't wait to see future iterations!

The Domino Surgery by Adam Konig 2023-01-09T17:23:19Z

@ben-burnes thanks for the feedback and kind words! We definitely could have taken more time to mix the audio better <3

District 17 by Paulsams 2023-01-11T17:16:57Z

loved the mechanics and mood! great job!

Cursed Nurse by InitialPosition 2023-01-15T20:10:42Z

Super super clean and fun entry. Gameplay was simple and easy to pick up, but also very interesting and gave lots of options on how to play. Visuals were quirkly and simple but perfect for a game jam. Overall very very solid entry that I enjoyed a lot

Deadlicious by Tomate_Salat 2023-01-09T17:58:26Z

Great entry! Visuals were awesome, gameplay was simple and easy to understand and get into. Wish there were more like powerups for doing more damage or starving less fast. Great work! Screen Shot 2023-01-09 at 9.56.19 AM.png

GAKKI the Water Harvester by ironhandMD 2023-01-15T20:26:24Z

Great work on your first entry! Music was awesome, lots of variety of things to go find between people and resources and powerups gave the game a lot to do for a game where you just walk around! Had a lot of fun and congrats on your first ludum dare!

Comet Cowboy by Jonathan Alderson 2023-01-10T22:24:49Z

Love the music and vibe. I would have loved a tutorial built in because it was pretty hard to get the hang of at first but know that a tutorial would have been hard to accomplish in the time frame. Overall, great job!

Arnold the Reaper by D3kryption 2023-01-15T19:52:18Z

Super impressive result visually. Great lighting, scenery, and animation. Gameplay was a little repetitive and I struggled for a while to find the 3rd person I was supposed to hunt. Overall though found no bugs and great polished result not to mention a very funny and thorough intro cut scene? Excellent entry

FERTILIZATION FRENZY by Nick Saulnier 2023-01-10T18:17:17Z

Love the sound effects and fumigant assets! Both are really clean and fun. I would have loved to see the How to Play Graphic appear in the game. It's so well done and would have set me off on the right foot. I also think some form of tutorial would have been nice given all of the intricacies of different swarm types and land types. I think these would have been easier to pick up a couple at a time vs having to memorize all of them immediately but understand it's difficult to do all of these in the scope of a jam. Overall, great job! I had a lot of fun playing

Christmas Hustle by john-wuller 2023-01-10T18:26:24Z

This is SO fun. Love the dialog and the personality in this game. Wish there would have been more instructions in the tutorial but had so much fun just interacting with Elfonzo.

Farm On Wheels by Igor Minenko 2023-01-09T17:29:11Z

Fun little farming sim on wheels! Wish there was more to do with your money like upgrades to farm faster or more plots, but honestly had a lot of fun doing all the core farming sim activities!

Tattie Season by Marton 2023-01-10T18:34:16Z

I also got stuck in the hole and somehow landed on the last bug without killing them and just rode them around. lol. I think the water drops could have been a tad bigger or maybe a different color to add some more dimension. Overall though, I loved the concept of the sad potato and am a big fan of clean platformers like this. Way to go!

Bewitched Potatoes by aey 2023-01-10T18:11:57Z

art and animation is so cute. Took me a little while to understand the instructions but eventually got the hang of it! I might have preferred being able to attack with a quick click even if that meant a respawn time before I could click again as holding down to attack was the part I found confusing. Overall, really well done!

Garden of Eldritch Delights by autumnmnmn 2023-01-15T19:58:22Z

Visually outstanding. The thematic world building is excellent and every visual and audio is consistent in that theme of a dark otherworldly atmosphere. Had a lot of fun trying to play this 2 player game solo doing all the farming sim activities. Only feedback I would give is it took me a minute to see where the plots for growing food were. Looked like they were just ground details. Could use some improvement on the design language of what is interactable and what is just aesthetic or background art (because theres so much good background art in this game!) Nice work overall

Bad Reaper by Pinkuin 2023-01-09T18:28:06Z

Nice work! (also idk how you embedded the game into the ludum dare page but nice work on that!) Very silly and fun concept. Got a little monotonous after a while but had a lot of fun trying to farming sim and also hack and slash at the same time :smile_cat:

Big Veggies by Raphytator 2023-01-15T20:01:40Z

Nice work! Very cookie clicker-esque. Very funny plot and had a lot of fun choosing all my upgrades

LD54 — Limited Space

Tetranome by Random-storykeeper 2023-10-06T03:08:45Z

Create entry. Really nice take on tetris. Provides a lot of interesting possibility space and strategies for the player. Super easy to get going and see how long you can last. Strong work!

Doubling ground crew by gilborn 2023-10-02T20:17:26Z

A solid entry very cool that you picked up a new engine to make this! It definitely got reallly really tough for me in the 4th level but controls were very solid and responsive and visually very readable. Strong work!

PIO by sbeif 2023-10-05T17:45:22Z

Nice game! I got really stuck on level 5-ish but the mechanics were easy to understand, fit the theme well and were fun to play with!

Tetrominated by Peter Jonsson 2023-10-02T19:41:02Z

Cool idea! Makes trying to create a one well on the sides super difficult since you onlyhave one chance to hit the edge before it comes back around again. Nice work! Great execution

Screenshot 2023-10-02 123943.png

Limited Parking Space by Johnsensei 2023-10-06T03:17:47Z

Super fun! Controls were quick and easy to pick up and goals of the game were very clear and easy to follow. Just wish there was more juice for all the things (car crashes, dust trails, etc.) but otherwise mechanically very very solid entry!

Limitris by zubspace 2023-10-03T20:14:39Z

Fun entry! Your tutorial was super helpful. Then when I got to the main game I wasn't sure if there was anything stopping me from just spamming the build/destroy button so I jsut went to town trying to block in as many enemies as possible. Really fun time great work!

Greeting Card Maker by Adam Konig 2023-10-05T17:46:54Z

@jk5000 thanks for the feedback! What's really insane is that last level with the long message we actually cut down significantly from it's original string because it was way way too long. It still ended up being too long anyway I suppose :)

Greeting Card Maker by Adam Konig 2023-10-06T03:10:20Z

@dioinecail great suggestion! We did pitch that early on as a possibility, but I think that takes away from the joke we were planning to make with the long messages. For a more "serious" puzzle game I do agree with you that giving the prompt ahead of time allows you to plan your strategy better

BEAT 'N' DEAD by Proz 2023-10-03T20:44:43Z

Great entry! Visuals were very impressive for a game jam and gameplay was easy to understand and pick up!

I n s u l a O b j e c t i v e : E x o d u s M M X X I I I by hatmajaster 2023-10-03T19:50:06Z

Cool art style! Very minimal but reads super well. Game is a tad slow and that coupled with minimal visual aids as to whats going on when you place a building makes it a little confusing. I took two stabs at trying to beat it and couldn't get there because I ran out of resources so I appreciate the hint in the description on how you might beat it. Nice entry!

Six Floors Under by maxededo 2023-10-05T18:08:18Z

This was super super good. A really concise and clear puzzle game with super refined play space and mechanics to understand and learn. Was surprised you had to solve it in exactly the minimum number of moves. I would have maybe made some leeway for players who make 1 or two mistakes and give them a bonus for doing it in the fewest number of moves, but definitely added some great challenge!

fell the tower!!! by honestspoof 2023-10-05T17:52:06Z

I actually really liked it! I just got so stuck on level 3 that I was unable to keep going which I was bummed about because I think you hit the mark on everything else. Design language was good and clean, the mechanics were interesting and easy to understand the graphics and audio were clean and simple and looked and sounded great.

LD55 — Summoning

Board to Death by LandoSystems 2024-04-16T02:47:42Z

Very fun and interesting mechanic to summon multiple of your chess pieces. Felt a little slow, but overall had a good time and played to credits. Nice work!

wiz by torcado 2024-04-16T16:00:09Z

Awesome work, super concise mechanic and very smooth difficulty curve. Awesome work all around!

The Dodge Invoker by pauljs 2024-04-15T22:22:58Z

Super fun entry, very frustrating but in a good way! Had a lot of fun learning the right timings of jumping and not spamming so as not to mess myself up. Awesome work!

Bail Out! by Historymaker118 2024-04-15T20:58:14Z

Awesome entry, our team had a lot of fun just barely seeping out a win at the very end. The challenge was hard but achievable after 2-3 plays which feels right for a game jam. Excellent work and good luck!

C.R.T. - Companion Recall Technology by AffinityChris 2024-04-16T02:55:53Z

Cool vibe, controls were really finicky to get the jumps just right. Solid entry!

Infernup's Ablazummon by Colisan 2024-04-15T21:51:06Z

The falling humans were both adorable and horrifying that was awesome excellent entry!

Summonfactory by rhewid 2024-04-15T21:45:13Z

Awesome factory builder, our team had a ton of fun building our demon work force. Incredibly well put together as a compo entry. Excellent work!

Samuel, The Summoning Squirrel by Flamboozle 2024-04-16T02:25:28Z

Solid entry very polished, I think it would be more enjoyable to just run over graves to collect the spirits then to keep pressing E. Overall though great tension and fun gameplay

Photographic Memory by Adam Konig 2024-04-15T23:16:34Z

@gravityflip we actually re-used a sound effect I made for a mobile game we made last year called "Card Slap" its the sound of a playing card hitting a table. Glad you liked it!

Incorporeal by rrsmtz 2024-04-16T03:37:57Z

Very fun, wasn't sure what to do with the farie wings but had a lot of fun summoning the demons!

Alakazamazon! by Xeltide 2024-04-16T03:22:13Z

Very wacky and fun, but by the 3rd "20x books" I think I had had enough. Loved flinging around candles though very satisfying

NECRO'EVOKE by Tugaryn 2024-04-15T20:51:25Z

Love the combat mechanic as a mix of auto battler and deck building. Excellent entry and the dialog was hilarious

Phasebound by Kepsert 2024-04-15T20:39:59Z

Awesome entry! Super fun our whole team had a ton of fun learning all the tech and racing against eachother. Very well polished game jam entry!

Ethereal Transport Academy by Tobius 2024-04-16T03:11:46Z

Art was incredible. Loved the portraits of each character. Very fun simple game!

Summonware by HelperWesley 2024-04-16T02:29:04Z

Woah super super great entry. The microgames were all super quick and fun and responsive really gives wario ware vibes. The art style was super 90s and retro. Had a lot of fun

Trial by Combat by Gravityflip 2024-04-15T21:17:22Z

Super fun simplified 2D fighting game! Plot was very silly and very fun and found the enemies to be challenging and interesting. Excellent work!

Imagining Dragons by Falk Hoeppner 2024-04-16T03:04:05Z

Vibes were spread. Thank you for making this I had a lot of fun. Was so sad to lose after being so powered up

Summoner Showdown by Caz Creates Games 2024-04-15T21:07:41Z

Awesome first entry and congrats again on completing your first game jam! An awesome auto-battler we had a ton of fun trying different strategies with the limited mechanics. Good luck!

Amareica by Marin Davys 2024-04-16T14:55:36Z

I'm a little horrified and freaked out but mostly impressed. The vibe was super unsettling and strange which feels like what it was going for. Not sure if I grasped what the purpose of the game was or if there's a strategy to winning (it is horse racing after all) but I was very impressed nonetheless

A Following Wind by digitaliliad 2024-04-15T22:00:44Z

Loved the wind effects and the vibe was immaculate. Very chill and vibey. Could play forever

TANKZ by Funday Games 2024-04-15T22:08:18Z

Incredibly good looking game for a game jam entry. love the very clear UX work with enemies red, built turrets green, player blue. Had a ton of fun and good luck in the jam!

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Duck Rescue Patrol by rkhadder 2024-10-08T23:20:13Z

Loved it! Wish there were more levels but I think the idea and gameplay were really solid. I think the ducklings that stop following you when you're juuuussssttt barreeelllly too far away is perfectly infuriating to make for an excellent game :)

Snail away by Thomas_Bringer 2024-10-08T22:53:12Z

The moving slime-y sounds were disgusting (compliment)! Very nice simple gameplay with some building mechanics. Wish there were more jumps like that one that tells you to use space roll into a ball, that was really fun and I was sad it only happened once! Awesome entry

Flea Circus by Adam Konig 2024-10-08T22:56:27Z

@koolruz thanks for the thorough feedback! So sorry for the physics issues that's really a bummer. Unfortunately didn't have enough time to test for all the weird cases that you could end up in like the one you found but so glad you liked our idea <3

Flea Circus by Adam Konig 2024-10-08T22:56:59Z

@vipaka thanks so much for the kind words <3

Flea Circus by Adam Konig 2024-10-08T22:57:12Z

@rkhadder thanks so much!!!

Flea Circus by Adam Konig 2024-10-08T22:57:42Z

@abex try holding down jump with the pogo stick, you might just get the height you're looking for ;)

Flea Circus by Adam Konig 2024-10-09T16:33:01Z

@hexstart you can also use left click to jump and right click to spin! Maybe we should add those additional key bindings in the itch page

Soulkeeper by Vitaslayer 2024-10-08T23:10:27Z

Short and sweet entry, would have loved a few more enemy types to avoid and beware of or like a bonus more dumping lots of souls at once, but still very solid entry had a lot of fun

LD58 — Collector

The Great Collector by Nicso 2025-10-15T18:37:37Z

Very cool idea, super unique way to set up and play a match 6 game. I found it to be interesting and challenging and I loved all the upgrade options. nice work!

Bards Battles by wdebowicz 2025-10-16T22:40:18Z

Screenshot 2025-10-16 153857.png Very impressed technically with the LLM integration and I think you added it in a way that is interesting and unique and still provides the player with a lot of fun agency. I do wish there was "more" generally like perhaps a rival verse generated by an LLM as well that ALSO generated the terms from the image? And maybe you get to choose the image? Not sure but overall very cool concept!

Virus singularity [Mega Drive] by Samuli 2025-10-11T22:15:39Z

First of all, I cannot believe that this is a functioning sega genesis rom. I literally downloaded a sega genesis emulator just to run it and couldn't believe it worked. So mega (pun intended) props to you for that. As for the entry itself, I liked it a lot! Very funky, edgy, weird, and visually incredible. Had a lot of fun and was very impressed!

Clean Line by Jesús González 2025-10-11T00:57:47Z

Besides the interface for placing and changing tracks being a little tedious, it was a very fun puzzle game and strong polished entry for the compo! I found the puzzles to be interesting and fun and I loved at the end going back through to collect all the final bits. I thought the loop of the game was tight, smooth, and a great time!

#rizzfest2k25 by alexrose 2025-10-11T00:54:46Z

The jokes are so dumb they loop back around to being funny again. The voice acting is insane and chaotic in a good way and the gameplay and puzzle solving is pretty novel and cool!

WIN WIN WIN by terryg 2025-10-11T17:25:36Z

I've never had a bad time with a number go up game. Very cool and fun entry! Some small feedback is that the text elements are a little blurry and the sound effects could go a lot farther if you randomize the pitch of the sound when it plays slightly so its not as repetitive (specifically the collect snake sound was really repetitive). Awesome work!

Dropseed by azahara 2025-10-15T18:41:02Z

Definitely feels designed for mobile over MKB given that having to click and hold the empty bucket button takes away from being able to control the bucket, but overall really strong clean simple and fun entry nice work!

Spellcard Exile by fusionnist 2025-10-13T18:43:05Z

Very cool entry, had a lot of fun! Definitely vibed with the pixel art grungy dark aesthetic and thought you packed a ton of variety of attack options in a jam game. Definitely the main thing that needs improvement is how you swap attacks. Having to move the mouse off the arena to mouse over something disengages you too much from the active gameplay, maybe a radial pop out menu that also pauses or slows down gameplay while you're switching? Not sure but otherwise very solid game!

The Haunting of Rebus Manor by Dan Davis 2025-10-11T00:56:24Z

I love a good escape room, and this was a super fun and quick and smooth micro-escape room! Would play stuff like this for hours if you made more. I do wish the object itself wasn't a giveaway sometimes to the puzzle solution but other than that I had a lot of fun!

Ludumon by Euler Moises 2025-10-11T01:01:39Z

Very fun point and click micro-game! Definitely a lot of iSpy type gameplay which can sometimes feel slow but I had a lot of fun just looking through every sprite to find the odd one out. Also love the theming and the spritework for each ludumon. Definitely wish there were more twists to uncover and mixing of mechanics from earlier levels (i.e. you have to find a female AND shiny ludumon or something), but overall very solid!

Potion for the Final Boss by Rol 2025-10-15T18:31:00Z

This was pretty fun! Definitely the pacing could be sped up (or at least let me click through dialogs) but the gameplay was quirky and silly and it's a great bit making fun of the potion hoarders out there. It wasn't clear to me whether or not my potions carried between fights or not or if that was just a joke part of the game? But overall great idea and fun game!

Achievement: Unlock all achievements by Pandalk 2025-10-11T00:53:55Z

Awesome game, perfectly sized for a game jam. Very fun twist that the actual "game" is not the game and everythign that is typically "not" the game is the actual game. Loved the jingle for getting an achievement overall really strong entry!

Pay Your DEBTS - Ludum Dare #58 by Kenneth Gibson 2025-10-16T22:47:41Z

This was actually very fun, the pacing of combat and upgrades was really solid I felt like I was never getting bored shooting before I got to claim another upgrade. Definitely some small tweaks would make some strong improvements like having a reticle to indicate where you're about to shoot so its not just like the general forwards direction and some more variety of areas or enemies would be fun, but really excellent and fun and overly gore-y gameplay so no real complaints here!

Deep Space Lawn Mowing by HexStart 2025-10-11T00:59:35Z

Awesome entry who doesn't love a number go up game? I think the theming was very clever being a lawn mower cutting grass and avoiding asteroids instead of rocks. Overall very strong entry visually, gameplay was really smooth and fun, the high score board was a nice touch, and I had a very fun time and greatly appreciated the controller support!

Forgery Frenzy by Katelyn Trout 2025-10-06T23:41:09Z

@dullai Totally fair feedback that we also felt upon playtesting at the end but didn't have enough time to rectify for all the paintings. Thanks for playing! <3

Forgery Frenzy by Katelyn Trout 2025-10-11T17:26:43Z

@hexstart you quite literally decided it was "good enough!"

Forgery Frenzy by Katelyn Trout 2025-10-24T18:07:13Z

@tetrapteryx ooh a little dropper tool would be very helpful! Some of this feedback is a slippery slope into us just building a full version of photoshop if we go deep enough

Reapurr by Emily C 2025-10-13T19:31:12Z

Very impressive visuals especially for a jam! I found the gameplay and mechanics to be very snappy and responsive and fun! I did ultimately finish with an F rank even though I thought I leveled up everything to the max so not sure how that works but otherwise great time!

I Need Paperplanes by Kvn 2025-10-13T18:50:39Z

Love the idea and the theming for the game. However it looks like the drops for the trash bins is randomized so sometime you get softlocked by rng? Other than that very cool little 2D puzzle platformer
