This is my kind of game, my favorite so far on the jam as well! Keep it up! Why have you not submitted in compo though? @boaheck-artgent
Why did you copy paste the Pixel movie's Wikipedia article to the game description? Is this a weird inside joke of yours? :D
It is a very well done and feature rich game, I think that the control and all the things feel smooth. What would make it much better, if you added a pause menu with tutorial and made the days a bit longer in the beginning at least, so that it is not so stressful :D I feel like I do one thing and the day is over. Really nice job in the art as well! :v:
I enjoyed this submission a lot, I like strategy games and anything where you can gather resources. I think that adding a few technologies we could purchase would be easy to implement and would add one more thing to work toward. I am thinking of stuff like, faster walk speed, more resource gathered from nodes, more nimkip damage. Great game!
I really liked every second of it while it has lasted. Good job! How is that duck on it's back, I couldn't figure that out...
@futuregamer25 , @diana-shuke we have planned 4 levels originally, one for each season, we descoped 2 in the very beginning and ended up completing only one unfortunately.
@adam-konig @dod108 we will definetely increase the size of the water drops then! The idea was that 4 seasons have their distinct color theme, all monochrome, so thats why the drop blends in, but yeah, maybe it would need some more highlight.
@dod108 it does not feel harsh, it is really constructive, thanks! And you are right about all of these I think.
@bearacus thanks for the detailed feedback! When you say the blue hue is alright, do you mean that you would have liked an aesthetic that has more color variation?
@rocktavious yes, there is only one level that made it into the game (we wanted 4).
The Audio and Artstyle is very nice! Pathfinding was wonky for me too. Also a bug: once the senior cat parishes there is no way to dismiss the dialog if you have retriggered it after giving him the blanket.
