I liked the game, but I really hated the controls... I sometimes just wanted to look around and see what was happening, but couldn't do that because there were no controls for that.
Or was that intentional?

Woah, this is a really cool idea but I think the execution wasn't the best.
The game missed music, some polish and the *core* of the gameplay. It took me a lot of time to figure it out, but when I did, the game wasn't really that fun. I definitely liked the sound, art (colors need improvement though) and the initial concept.
I understand the reason for this - you ran out of time. This game feels generally unfinished. However, I definitely liked what you made and definitely think it would be very fun to play if you polish it up and improve the gameplay and the overall game feel.
@coleslaughter it's fixed now! Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thanks for all the feedback!
Yeah, we didn't have much time for polish (or even implementing the main mechanics/controls correctly). The speeding-up algorithm makes the enemies spawn on decreasing intervals, but when the interval becomes negative, they stop spawning. I initially planned to add flying enemies (hence the two upper branches) but that never happened. Sorry for that :sweat_smile:
I loved the art style and the story, but, as others have said, the gameplay was a bit unpolished and certainly needs improvement.
Awesome, very great job!
:point_up_2:
I think that you should opt out of most of the categories or at least attribute the work.
I have actually played this with a team, it was really fun! One thing that could use improvement though were the graphics and terrain design. They felt a bit unpolished and bland. Overall, solid entry.
@occultone please add the WebGL version again. I can't play without it.
This is the best game I've seen on this Ludum Dare. Perfect polish, great mechanics and art.
Very smooth animations, I didn't like the colors though. Some sound effects or music could have made the game more enjoyable.
Awesome effects, I loved it all throughout! Improving the platforming and adding some polish would make this a 5/5.
Woah! This is a real RPG! I didn't expect that much content for a 72-hour game...
Awsome graphics and ok gameplay, I think a menu/intro and some sound effects would improve the game.
Great game, I had some trouble with playing it though. I couldn't run it in Wine, so I had to install Unity and run the source code.
The mechanics feel really polished, and the story is :ok_hand:. I wish there was more to it though.
The art (especially the cover) looks amazing. Unfortunately, Wine just displays a black screen.
@matthew-hrehirchuk yeah I totally understand
@pfeyffer oh, really? Can you try making the first snowball bigger and then make the next ones smaller by jumping while they're rolling? There's an ending :)
@calamador yeah, that happened several times during testing but I didn't find a way to fix it
@corrade yeah, I noticed them during testing too, but I didn't end up fixing them because that would require changing too much of the scene structure
@hcursino Glad you liked it!
I initially wanted to end it with an animation of a carrot and buttons falling onto the snowman's head, but ended up going for a simple ending animation
@nigic I got #3 once, #2 and #1 didn't happen. Weird.
The art is very good, and handling stress makes for a very interesting twist on the horror genre. I'm surprised that this doesn't have many ratings.
Really polished and fun mechnics, cool artstyle, loved the "story", especially the ending.
The art looks.... ok, but you can't enjoy it at its fullest with those sound effects, slow gameplay and dull atmosphere. The game is painfully slow, and I always had to restart the entire game if I made just one single mistake. I *did* finish it, but it was in now way satisfactory
-10/10, no linux, mac or android build in the zip.
Doesn't run on Wine, so I can't rate it.
@twelvoo That's ok, sorry! It's a Unity game, so you can just export it for Web, zip the result and put it on itch.
This seems awesome, but I can't play this because Wine doesn't seem to work on this. Can you try building it for Mac/Linux/Web too?
@thiago-nascimento why? I thought most major engines support Mac builds? I don't need a mac build (I'm on Linux), a web (HTML5/WebGL) build improves accessibility too.
