Mechanics are pretty good. I missed that I was supposed to make the things blow up, took a minute to get past the first room because of that - I piled up 50 rods or so! The one where you have to jump up high was a challenge, the rest was straightforward, but you could definitely make a bigger explosion jumping game out of this.
Really enjoyable, the whole atmosphere was enjoying to play through, i dont know, i got caught up in it. got stuck for a bit but, Blasted my way through it, haha.
Nice entry! Movement and explosions are really nice --- you must have spent a lot of time on the character controller. Dialogue, shadows, and music add a lot to the mood.
It would have been cool to see more levels where you had to chain explosions to reach the goal.
@ogre @jeremy-ryan Yah, It feels like there is a bit of a disconnect between the narrative I wanted to explore and the mechanics I implemented. Given more time I'd like to flesh it out better and make it a longer more puzzle-y game with more on the line as you go through levels. Originally there was a type of block that would hinder your progress, however I removed it so that the story could happen uninterrupted.
@kekkodude Glad to here you got caught up in it :D
I had fun, the game has a good start, good work

Delicious melodrama. Quite a blast to play too.
Good story, good gameplay. The only problem I had with the game (other than booting up a machine that runs Windows instead of Linux after failed attempts with wine and a vm) was that one vertical section, the text progressed faster than I could reach, so I may have missed some dialogue. But the story was clear, and there clearly was a lot of emotion put into this game. Well done!
Strong story. Interesting mechanic with the rods.

Great game, I had some trouble with playing it though. I couldn't run it in Wine, so I had to install Unity and run the source code.
The mechanics feel really polished, and the story is :ok_hand:. I wish there was more to it though.
Great entry! Took me a second to work it out then felt quite engaged from there. Some of the jumps are kinda hard to make but was a cool original idea!
"Thank you for playing my game!" Nice atomphere. Nice gameplay. I like the waving virsual effect. Good job.
Wow, the atmosphere of this is amazing! I really liked the vision effect and the floating text, it did a real nice job of setting the mood, and the dialogue gave me chills. Nice work!
Interesting mechanics to jump, maybe imprecise (UNITY physics ?), but it works ! Story is good, and the music is in accord to. It's a good entry ! (i have a bug in the level 5 when i broke thing, i fall into the void and the game have crashed).void.png

Fun take on the idea of starting with nothing and having to use all you have to get through. The jumping mechanic was also fun to discover.
