Very interesting! As a fellow cat lover I definitely wouldn't want anyone hurting the little fluff balls of mine.

You might get PITA mad at you...

I'm really impressed at the art!

Before playing this game I would've called myself a dog person. But now I must say you have converted me!

Very impressive to see great artwork, story telling, and cats! Loved the background music too!

... those poor poor cats. The pathing is excellent in this game. Great dialog and love the cyberpunk feel!

Wow this was quite a lot to get done for 72 hours! Funny dialogue, and nice use of the theme. Once comment I would have is that it was a bit tough to figure out what you can and can't interact with in the world, since intractable objects didn't have much visual or contextual hints that separated them from their surroundings.

Ha ha, loved the commitment to the theme! Thank goodness we had Neiko watching our backs!

The love the anime style of art it really boosts the mood.

Woah! This is a real RPG! I didn't expect that much content for a 72-hour game...

philarmon 2019-10-08 11:02

Wow, how the heck did you created all this in three days? I'm not a huge fan of RPGs but this is really impressive!

nisovin 2019-10-08 23:32

Quite a bit of content here, and so many jokes. I admit I didn't finish, but it seems pretty good!

guitarbro 2019-10-09 01:59

"I don't have any dialogue anyways" killed me lol. A+ with the humor. I'm surprised with how many references you crammed in there. Some of the visuals felt a bit inconsistent with the art style, but it generally worked. I noticed you opted out of graphics and music so it's a bit hard to tell exactly how much content is original (I'm guessing the dialogue is for sure), but still seemed pretty nice overall.

firetwoonenine 2019-10-09 04:22

@guitarbro The graphics are built from a default RPG Maker tileset, but we designed the maps. The music is original (made by yours truly), but I made it years ago for the original Catachresis concept. Sound effects are stock RPG Maker.

We had an artist and musician onboard for the project, but they both ended up having no time over the weekend to make assets for the game.

Funny story! I included it in my Ludum Dare 45 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/Bucux0B4E5k

I'm not usually a fan of rpgmaker projects, but your dialogue and game concept are so great. I actually found myself laughing at some of the jokes. Now it's time to go read some readit.

velvetlobster 2019-10-10 00:58

Love rpgmaker games, love games about cats, the dialogue here is great and actually made me laugh a couple of times, the music adds to the vibe

danie 2019-10-10 18:47

I got stuck a few times, but it was a lot of fun overall. Great job!

friedrich-eibl 2019-10-14 15:40
