Super interesting entry! The "wiggle mouse" movement was actually my favourite part, I think there is an entire deep-dive on that alone that could be really cool in another project or an update.

Overall, really cohesive and well-presented and fun to work around the quirks of the terminal emulation.

Love a lot of the ideas here. Traversal was interesting due to aesthetic polish, and the game loop is fun. Great showcase of this "2D/3D cube" technology, really impressive given the engine. Overall, one of the games I spent a good amount of time playing, great job!

The "angry" mechanic wasn't too direct for me, but once I understood everything the game loop became really fun! If you were to expand on this, just more variety to the game loop (more enemies, bosses, more map variety, whatever) would go a long way. Overall really cohesive and well-presented, GJ.

Fun and polished shmup! I think the scope is appropriate as a jam entry, but with more time bosses/something to shake up the game loop or difficulty curve would have pushed this to a "next level". Overall really well-done gameplay. Haven't seen many shmups with a charged shot as the core mechanic, so that was really welcome. Great work!

There are some stability issues when I run this, so that is my biggest barrier to leaving more feedback! What did run smoothly was enjoyable, I really like the artstyle and the platforming was nice. I'd maybe reduce the delay between MB1 and the shlice. Good job, pretty huge for the short time!

Agreed with the camera being somewhat too zoomed in! Seems like this would be fun to master and run through as quickly as possible, which is always nice to feel about a game in the first few minutes. Personally I found the physics on the jumping somewhat awkward to get a hold of, but after an adjustment it was OK. Fun platforming!

Love a good platformer! There is a slight learning curve to the jump arc/momentum, probably due to everyone being used to controlling a certain plumber haha. But once you get the hang of it, the game controls well and has quite a bit of content.

I think the difficulty hits a good median point between brutal and too easy, but I think you _could_ afford to make it more punishing.

Visually super impressive! Love the asset work and the recreation of a cel-shaded style. Also shout out to the not-so-subtle Victory Gundam reference in the title, mech design and color scheme :stuck_out_tongue:.

I think some iteration on this concept could be something worthwhile! Was expecting more of a punishment for failing an arrow input in the harvest mini-game, for example.

Everything that is here is super complete, I like the artwork visual style a lot. I won the game on the first map generation, which might not be very usual? But in my case it wasn't very challenging :P. It may just be a case of procedural rules tho.

Love the illustration and art-style! Concept is interesting, and the puzzle itself was fun to solve.

I think some of the UI/interaction choices could have made the experience more enjoyable. I definitely was kind of lost just dragging aliens around until I realized I *had* to connect the pictures to each other to form a connection.

Audio and humour was super strong as well. I clicked around and asking for a hint before interacting with the game results in funny dialogue, etc.

Art here is AWESOME. Love the sprite-work. Audio is good and fitting as well, and the gameplay seems well-considered!

My main critique is difficulty. When exploring I stumbled into the boss room without making any purchases; the fight was really easy in my opinion. SO, the disparity between overworld and boss difficulty is pretty large, I found the Snakes and Mantis swarms more challenging than the Dragon.

Fun gameplay once I got it! I think the theme is somewhat bolted on (the Harvest zone at the bottom seems kind of superfluous, it's not difficult to go and collect stuff, etc.) but I can understand just adding a feature to see if you can make it happen (timers, item collection). Love stuff that's mechanics focused like this, good job!

Love the platforming, the art, and the overall vibe.

I get the connection to the theme with scythe-ing down enemies to harvest their souls for progression. However, I found it a lot less enjoyable to have to worry about combat as it took away from my time interfacing with the cool platforming/puzzle element of the game.

That's the only critique I can come up with, otherwise extremely solid and fun!

Aesthetically (other than audio) I think this is strong. Could definitely use some sugar in terms of visual effects/feedback though!

I actually really like how fast and direct the gameplay control feels. Generally this style of game is bit slower and more forgiving, but I actually think it's pretty interesting for it to feel closer to Quake or something in terms of fast movement and the characters near-hit-scan projectile.
