Good job on the game! The game was easy to understand and had a clear goal. The graphics are nice! I like that you can choose which resources the workers will harvest. However, one thing that could be improved is that resources do not respawn. Hold to swing would also make harvesting easier. Finally, I wish there were more enemy types.

Good work on the game! Love the graphics. The music is very good and suits the game. The gameplay is also engaging. The goal is clear and it is easy to understand how the game works. Though, it is very laggy on the web version.

Well. This was an extremely dark game. I made it to day 11. I didn't expect that I would grind the Tamagotchi while they smile happily. This is probably one of my favorite games in this jam. Good job!

Positive: - The audio is good. It has simple but good music. - Cool and interesting way to use the theme - Clear and good goal - Good atmosphere - Simple and easy to understand

Minus: - You can't harvest the Tamagotchi if there is poop on the floor, which is annoying. - The pixels in the pixel art have different sizes in different images. This can make some art look weird. For example the character portraits and the apple have different sizes on their pixels.

Idea: - You can harvest the Tamagotchi whenever, but harvesting a tamagotchi with full stomach gives more money.

Overall, a nice and chill game. I like how the game interpreted the theme. I also think that it's very easy to understand how the game is played. I think that a larger overall goal would be better than just earn as much money as possible for this type of game. Basically, the goal is not motivating enough.

Minus: - the grass sound effect becomes annoying after a while - I couldn't move anymore after picking up some flowers for some reason. Stop playing after this. (I didn't pick up flowers at first, so I went pretty far before I started harvesting them. Could this be the reason?)

Nice game and good job! I like that the castles increase their ranks with time. It is also fun to destroy the castles. The take on the theme is unique and I have not seen anything similar in this jam. I wish you could hold to shoot. Increasing maximum amount of gold carried is something I would like to upgrade in the shop. Adding a clear goal would make the game even more fun.

Nice game that makes me think of a mix between a card game and Tetris. The music was also good, even though it was lagging sometimes. The game was very easy to understand and had a clear goal. I like that different crops have various effects. Additionally, finishing a row is satisfying. However, it is troublesome when you do not get any apples on the second level. I got 239 points before my first apple. Also, like Phillip Scott wrote, reaching the goal does not complete level 2, which is seen in the picture below: gamejam.PNG

The music and graphics are amazing! The game is really easy to understand and I like that the tower defense is in a isometric view instead of the usual top down. I however think that the game lacks an overall goal, and it is really easy to defend against the waves. Anyway, good job!

Excellent game. It is very simple but at the same time enjoying and satisfying. I really like the games music. I am impressed by how much content the game has considering that you only had 48 hours. One problem with the game is that it gets laggy when switching years and when meteorites fall. Anyway, I like that game over only restarts the year.

Feedback: - Maybe add the goal at the beginning of the game. - It's pretty annoying that you can't shoot if you're too close to the silo, since you will put the poo inside the it instead. Wish we could take poo from the silo to shoot, and not just put more poo inside the silo.

However, I often need to press the farms multiple times for the harvesting to work, even when ships are empty. The game also gets kinda repetitive after a while. Additionally, the player cannot do anything in the beginning but wait for the ship. All in all, good job!

Really cool game. Never thought of this interpretation of harvest. The graphics really fit the mood and the atmosphere is amazing. Though, I wish there was some more variety in the music. Also, in the fourth level, the cancer is supposed to grow and block my building area right? But it seems like I can block the cancer from growing by placing conveyor belts. Anyway, it is impressive that this much content could be done in this short time. Good job!

The game has good difficulty. I like that the movement is turn based. The art and music is good. It is amazing that it is possible to change the audio volume, since I felt that the sounds were too high. I wish that the game had a redo button, so that I would not need to restart the whole level when I do mistakes.

@zyak, thank you very much for your detailed feedback! It is extremely appreciated. Regarding the soul harvesting time, I will probably increase the upgrade limit. The idea about holding to shoot is great! I might also put an enemy spawn point in the center and move the current spawn points. I am glad that you noticed the goblins' weird movement pattern! As for the last point, I only made seven waves of enemies manually and the rest are randomized, and the fun disappearing is understandable. I want to try adding more enemies while also increasing the difficulty. Finally, good job on the score!

It is weird that the player walks faster diagonally since I actually use ".normalized". I will have to investigate this problem further.

As for the health bar, I learnt how to create one through a video called "2D Character Hitpoints in Unity / 2022" by Distorted Pixel Studios. It is very clear and I hope you find it helpful.

@zyak, thank you very much for playing. I appreciate your feedback! It is very helpful. The ideas for the crystal are really interesting. I will also have to remember your feedback on the dash for future games. I will also to be more clear about the waves being time based and a next wave button is a great idea. Unfortunately, I think there is a bug with the red grave, which makes them spawn if you harvest them at the last second.

Anyway, I am very impressed by your score and it is the highest I have ever seen. Good job!

The mood is perfect in this game, because of different factors such as the comms, audio and graphics. The game reminds me a little of Bioshock. I also like how harvesting was interpreted and used in this game. My feedback for this game is to add a clear goal. Would definitely want to play something similar again. Good job!
