my fingers enjoyed the driving mechanic and making sick drifts, it's tricky at start but with some practice becomes easier

I wish that just slamming in the small people would make the delivery, it would be great to not have to stop and just deliver ice-cream mid-drift ( E P I C M O M E N T ) and continue!

nice it puts the typing skill to use (but not in an obvious way like a type speed test) and treats the keyboard as a controller. randomized keys are a nice touch, can't really memorize or prepare.

very nice vibes with the musical notes and overall minimal aesthetic. i liked the red backgrounds a lot.

i had fun making some snacks and serving them to the shaking, anticipating customers! good job with the graphics - beautiful consistent color pallete, nice readability, pleasure to look at the difficulty ramp up felt just right, not being too hardcore i was constantly surprised by the increasing complexity of my cafe and the orders combination

this whole course let me wanting for some more sweet visual feedback when doing things and fulfilling orders...but that is just my brain being greedy for dopamine!

very nice concept! I can imagine this being turned into a very engaging tactical / emotional game. I would love to see the encouraging / emotion managing part fleshed out more, instead of a "generic" encouragement.

the tutorial text was not very long and it's fast to skip when playing again, no problems there.

I'm imagining this fully fleshed out, with multiple dialogue options, visual-novel like scenes in the hangar between the missions, options to remotely administer some psychoactive drugs to the pilots... it would be a very interesting thing to play.

thank you Emily, this game hits too close to the truth right now. :heart: the notification texts were spot on. you put together a very nice package of stealth gameplay, social commentary story, nice pixelart gfx and fitting audio/music that forms a very pleasant jam experience, and my eyeballs and frontal cortex enjoyed every moment of it.

its great that there is a quick restart if you get influenced and not much progress is lost. I enjoyed the minigame without the hard "fail" state. I wish for more deep stealth/avoidance gameplay!

i will now go reflect about the state of modern media and human attention in a corner for a bit. thank you for this experience. :eye:

ok! strong vibes here! i became a mushroom-addicted spelunkinggirl for like half an hour! :two_hearts:

it reminds me of made in abyss x inscryption with some subnautica sprinkled it (NO MAP) and i liked it a lot!!!

the UX/interaction are really well designed and it was very pleasant to move around. it all responds to my micro movements and feels really good. also its possible to play with just the mouse using only one hand which is neat ;3

contrary to earlier comments i didnt have any issues with the speed of the movements, the system allowed me to move really fast trough the cave, the only moment that i wished it went faster was when climbing up the rope (but i get it, i'm climbing the rope so it's not that easy!)

the gfx and minimal sounds contributed nicely to whole low-fi atmosphere which i like a lot!! the flare effect is really good, with the subtle effect of eye adapting to the darkness of the cave again afterwards which was really immersive (bw i tried all the trick that i know to make the game fullscreen but no luck, i considered changing the resolution for a moment but i didn't do it in the end:sweat_smile:

you totally need to use this system in a longer game!!! i think its super good and fingers crossed for next ideas that you will make with it :fingers_crossed: !!!

My body was asking for more quick action like with clicker type games, to make the "working day" more intense

sweet graphics, audio and theme contribute to excellent lighthearted, bright mood. mechanics were easy to understand but hard to execute perfectly with the added physics aspect. i appreciate that dropping an apple doesn't cause a "MISS" as it happened quite often for me :face_palm:

I didnt read the description 100% so I had a nice "a-ha!" moment when i realized i could fix the second human trap and then the game became more tricky as i had to juggle 2-humans

gameplay-wise i had pleasure in understanding the situation and thinking of the optimal order of operations - after a while I just wished that the distances were a little shorter as a lot of time was spent on walking in the beautiful base

i was digging around hoping to find some lightbulbs in the crates or other places but no luck!!! only the 2 big guys, the BATTERY and IDEA brothers remained...i guess they ate all other things that were left in the base!

nice music as well!!

ok so every jam you find a couple of games that you absolutely LOVE

this one is first one like that in ld52 for me

but i have to admit i am a huge sucker for space games :D

so! very very very solid production. the minimal graphics, the vibe, the aestheticc and the postprocess fx all come together to create an unique, crisp, well designed sci-fi vibe that pleases my eyeballs and ears

the moment i realized i could have _m u l t i p l e_ grappling hooks was amazing. never before i enjoyed hauling heavy objects in space as here (and never before i took so many risks and tried to carry _way_ too much)

the subtle touch of having the "anchor" of the hook _stay_ after disconnecting is also very satysfying (and sometimes embarrasing after multiple attempts :D)

i enjoyed the freedom, and practiced a bit before looking for the blackboxes (didn't know exactly what i was looking for - at first i thought that the red boxes will damage me if i hit them so i avoided them - only then i realized the truth...)

my best was carrying 4 sattelites at the same time :sunglasses:

I played and the timer went to zero and I thought "ok probably it will give me the hight score" BUT THEN THE THING HAPPENED AND I WAS TOTALLY SURPRISED BUT I MANAGED TO WIN

amazing experience, I like a lot the front "shield" that the harvester has so the pro move is to reverse really fast and MOW ALL THE CARROTS DOWN HAHAHAH

very good entry, respect for putting this together in such a short time!!! everything comes together as a very neat horror package

one run i decided just to sprint like crazy eveywhere and it kind of worked - i managed to kite the monsters near the house but they would never go out of the field so they got stuck on the border

good to have a "safe" zone but it a was a little anticlimactic :D

when i found tommy his model without face was a separate horror element for me xD

i would love some more challenge for the late game and more randomized levels (even if not fully procedural) would really make me spend a long time with this game

would be great to see the HP of player structures to know how much more they can resist.

beautiful minimal aesthetic, my eyeballs were very pleased, small touches like the source getting brighter during the night if powered properly, the elegant and delicate motion of the light particles, it was a beautiful experience

i like the fact that everything is bound to one resource - that serves the role of healt, collectibles, building resource etc - very elegant

the core gameplay loop is very nice and elegant and I enjoyed surviving as long as possible - and I knew that every mistake was my own, the game is very fair

only thing that was missing was some ambience in the background to pair with the beautiful audio effects and it would be pure heaven!

@hmrpf thank you for playing! very weird, usually the HARVEST ZONE had no issues but i'll look into it! you can always skip to the next level in the menu in case something weird happens (or if you just feel like it)

Super nice entry! Simple, yet hard to master mechanics, quick round time so it's fun to try again. For a first jam entry and first game with a fresh engine, it's a v e r y good result!!!

Don't worry about the GFX too much, it is aesthetically pleasing and instantly understandable / readable - that's a lot already.

It would be extra fun with a friend if it had 2-player couch vs mode (disable the AI and e.g. WASD for the second harvester controls)! Maybe something for a small post-jam update?

In my mind, I also imagined the harvester drifting. That would be glorious as well.

yass a very nice combination of overall game progression/upgrades and quick platformer shooting action

i felt overpowered when i got the TRIPLE upgrade just to pick up a SINGLE again after a few kills, nice

the visuals are clean an aesthetic and sounds effect fit the overall mood

i feel that some visual feedback on enemies being hit would go a long way and make it even more enjoyable!!!
