Super cool concept! I wish there was some indication of health remaining for the player - It was unclear how many hit points I had left when multiple ninjas were hitting me. Definitely a very solid entry. Well done!

Really cool art and animations! Hit feedback and a healthbar would have been cool but i guess time ran out.

Fun game ! I think it could have been nice to have a healthbar, i died too many times because i didn't know here I was at... This aside, i love the graphics, they were adorable !

The concept has SO much potential, I got really excited for the game as I read it. The artstyle is really pleasant, alongside the shading the whole map has. Even the main menu screen is really charming, I just wish there was a hit sound effect, cause I couldn't tell half the time if I was dealing any damage. Still, super nice game!

The art style and atmosphere on this is so stunning! I love the main menu as well, really felt super polished! Hit detection was really the main issue for me, I couldn't tell when I was doing damage or taking damage until I was dead, and seems like there might be an issue with actually hitting enemies.

Really nice art style and music and I think the game has a lot of potential, but as said above the hit detection is really strange, and didn't know if I was dying or if I was doing damage (some audio feedback could help this!). I also feel the controls we're really strange and couldn't really pick them up at all. Having to move my hands between the mouse and keyboard a lot as different hotkeys were in unusual positions.

I did love the main menu as well, thought that was a really cool addition. Good job overall though!

sweet pixel art, sweet animations, mad cyberpunk vibez (the rain!), tight character controls :heart:

but my brain...and my visual cortex...they crave more juice...more sweet sensory feedback when slashing the ninjas...if you add this, you creations will be on a very good way to conquer the hearts and minds of the players...

you probably know it already...but the youtube vid below has some juicy secrets...that applied to the ARKEON would work wonders...

It's a very pretty game, but the combat - the important part! - has zero impact whatsoever. I feel like I'm performing surgery with my hands under anesthesia - enemies don't have hit feedback, neither does the player, so the only way I really understand what's happening is when I get a big "DEAD - PRESS ENTER TO RETURN TO THE MAIN MENU" message (which cuts off on the left and right edges of the screen, whoops). I don't think I managed to kill a single ninja, and I'm not entirely sure I would've noticed if I had.

I should add, it seems like you can't attack while moving, which seems to me like a cardinal sin for sword-based gameplay.
