The webgl verison gives me this error on chrome ``` Error The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing: Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers) SharedArrayBuffer - Check web server configuration (send correct headers) ```
Decent entry, the robots is a bit fast though, hard to control and do precise pickups and drop offs. Also very quickly becomes repetitive.

Nice little puzzle game, the ambiance is pretty cool too !

@simeon-radivoev Yeah, we didn't figure out the Godot 4 web export on here yet. You managed to try it in the mini-test I was having, didn't think anyone would notice in some seconds. Thank you though! Sadly we ran out of time with the additional ideas to make it less repetitive, but perhaps that's an post-ludum task destined to be.
Thanks again!

@rhum Thank you! Now there's an need to make some actual puzzles haha.

I like the music, the pixel art. It's A bit hard to align the machine to use it in hurry. A little more randomness might reduce repetition, maybe you can let the friendly robot walk around in the level.

I really liked this! The music, art and gameplay loop all felt really polished even if the loop was a bit shallow. But it's a jam game so the fact that you got to this point is already impressive. I bet that with a bit more complexity this this would be an awesome game. I also hoped that the recycler and robots would have some kind of visual indicator on their progress  Maybe that could be an upgrade you could buy with the ideas given by the friendly robot? I really hope you expand this idea in the future!

@maxlin Thank you! Indeed some randomness could come handy there, sadly we didn't have time to do anything like that, but perhaps a post-ludum update on that may come, we'll see. Robots randomizing positions at times would be interesting.

@eloraju Thank you, I appreciate it! Oh an visual indicator, could be an upgrade indeed. Need to fiddle together some more upgrade ideas and make a shop for those~ We do have some post-ludum plans with it, but can't be too sure how far they'll go, hopefully at least to flesh out the experience more and some more activities in it. Thanks again!

I had a fun time ! really like the sprites and the ambiant sounds. I didn't fully understand the ligth bulb ("idea") mechanic and how much is needed to repair the ship.
svenerik
2023-01-10 15:50
@kastaff Lightbulb is an "idea" so depending where you bring it it gives you an idea for example of "upgrade" for the recycle machine or power station, or an idea of repairing the ship if bringing it there. You need to bring some for the ship look to change. You'll get them pretty fast once you've set up the chain of things.
Thank you!

I like the art style and the light system and how the game feels. Some kind of ingame help/guidance/tutorial would help it alot. (Maybe just display the image you build for this before the game starts or something if you run out of time to make a more interactive help/guidance/tutorial.)
greate work overall
sweeeeeeet pixel art, beautiful animations, gorgeous abandoned sci-fi base
and the humans...they expire and rot so fast...good thing that robots are eternal
I didnt read the description 100% so I had a nice "a-ha!" moment when i realized i could fix the second human trap and then the game became more tricky as i had to juggle 2-humans
gameplay-wise i had pleasure in understanding the situation and thinking of the optimal order of operations - after a while I just wished that the distances were a little shorter as a lot of time was spent on walking in the beautiful base
i was digging around hoping to find some lightbulbs in the crates or other places but no luck!!! only the 2 big guys, the BATTERY and IDEA brothers remained...i guess they ate all other things that were left in the base!
nice music as well!!
sweet entry, please keep making games!!! :love_letter:

So slick visual style! Also love your gameplay. Thanks!
love the pixels and the overall mood / ambiance that was created! i had to look at the cheat sheet but once i did, i got really into the game :) i thought the loop was super solid and the concept was fresh. moving around the world also felt fluid. there were a few humans that couldn't be put into the recycler, and i found that once my energy dipped below 15%, i was stuck in a loop where i had to keep getting batteries because otherwise i would die so i do think that that could be improved. i think a playthrough tutorial would've been really cool, too but i understand how those things tend to be de-prioritized during a jam. overall a really solid entry- congratulations!
The art is very cute. Tried to figure out things by myself but was not able to so in the end I still cheated and looked at the graph. Like the idea of capturing and murdering human to repair spaceship. I hope it can display how many more ideas are needed to repair the ship, so I would feel I am making progress. Noice job!

I found a lot of things interesting in this game, although I was completely lost because I couldn't see any difference in upgrading anything (except for the additional human catcher), the recycling and the battery kept giving me the same body part/approximately the same amount of energy. After feeding them for 10 minutes I felt like I wasn't making any progress and if I wanted to repair the ship as well it would have taken me a while (or maybe not but the lack of feedback made me lose my will to pursue after 2 repairs on the ship maybe 5 on the recycling and even more on the battery thingy), I would have like to play around the game mechanic not fighting to get to understand the core gameplay :/. To end on a brighter note, I think the game has a lot of potentials, the art was nice, and the game mechanics themselves are fun! Good job considering you were only 2 for that project!

@jan5366x Thank you! Yes we were indeed runnning out of time, but we also liked the idea of the player finding out themselves how the game works. But I agree, a bit more guidance would have been helpful, probably. Thanks for the feedback!

@cannibalgirl I'm glad you had fun and liked the game so much! Also I love your imagination and that you actually tried out a lot of things, curiousity is what you need in this game :D It's nice to hear that someone had "a-ha" moments while understanding the game. Thanks a lot!

@jamdong15 Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for your kind words! :) We had barely any time to "balance" the game out, so this was kinda like a "what feels right" for us, I'm glad it turned out the way it is - with some flaws. But yes, we definitely had it on our time-line to balance it out better, and make an in-game tutorial. Thanks for the feedback again! :)

2023-01-10 21:52
@tomatoomelet I think it's fine to look at the graph, as we actually planned to put some of that into the actual game. The amount the spaceship needs might not be super balanced, but in the next version we already have planned to visually show how much more repairs the spaceship needs. Thank you for the input <3

@ragenord Thank you! We were thinking of showing the upgrade state of the machines, but decided against it in the first place to keep some "mystery" in the game - but also because of lack of time. But now getting so much feedback about it, a faster upgrade would have been better probably. Because seeing better organs pop out is probably indicator enough that something is changing. But we have plenty of plans to improve the game anyway! :D I'm glad you still enjoyed it!
Very nice and dystopian atmosphere. The art is really cute! Some progress indicators for the ship repair would be much appreciated, having no feedback on how far you are felt frustrating.
interesting idea; I like the music, the idea of a multistep kind of puzzle, no directions (I like directionless games; I feel like they're an uncovered ground in terms of design) and the art looked really good

@timur-bahadir Thank you! Yeah I agree, indicators would help a lot. Had them in mind, but forgot them when time went by too fast.
@minidavid Thank you for the kind words!
Really good looking pixel art game. I had to use the cheat sheet though to figure out what to do as the first couple of times I just ran out of energy without really seeing how to replenish it. Maybe give some hint/popup at the start?
Great looking game and impressive you got this far in a weekend! SAdly couldn't figure out what to do so could do with a bit more 'teaching the player' maybe. Maybe i'm just tired.
This game is so cute I cannot believe you managed to do this much in such a short amount of time its absolutely amazing. It took me a little while to figure out what to do (thank you for the cheat sheet haha) but once I got it it was really fun to zoom around and pick up humans to process them. Amazing work~

It's cool, but there's not enough in-game training, since I wouldn't understand how to play at all and what you can click without a picture on the site). It would also be cool if there was a progress bar of how quickly this or that action would end. Or, for example, it was not clear at all that how much the ship needed in total. But it was fun to play in such a game loop.

Cool pixel art and lighting! You guys really put a lot of work into the sprites and animations. The cheat sheet was really helpful too, since the in-game time limit was relatively short and didn't allow much time to explore on your own. The harvesting mechanic was interesting, with each robot requiring different items and the player slowly learning which bot needs certain things and which will give you the appropriate tech to repair your ship. I could definitely see this one being interesting if you keep expanding on it after the jam; maybe you discover and repair more machinery around the factory over time, find better ways to automate harvesting, add more bots to your crew, and create tools and machines that require various amounts of batteries to stay powered. Nice job finishing your game!
It's a fun stressful game. I love that idea is an actual resource you can use. Good job!

@eeperdeheap @profhatchet @paulsams Thank you!
We actually ran out of time and are working on a post-ludum version now with some ingame tutorial at the beginning. We will put it on itch.io once it's done. We are also working on some visual indicators on showing the progress of upgrades and repairs.
@weefairyfabi Thank you ^^ we really wished we had more time though, so many more ideas but so little time to finish it. Glad you had fun and figured it out by yourself!
@chompdev Glad you enjoyed it, we kinda wanted to keep it a bit "find out yourself" how the mechanics work too, but it looks like you got that figured out anyway! Thanks for the ideas and the feedback, will definitely put those ideas into our post-ludum version. Thanks a lot!
@n-feofentov Thanks, it was a random idea during developing the game haha.
Hilarious concept. I like that the humans are still alive when you harvest them >:) Nice pixel art with some good effects. I like that you have to balance keeping the power of the ship up while doing other tasks. Keeps the game from being linear.
The art, music and sounds are great. But actually it was fun only in the beginning, later it starts to be very repetitive and also there is no progress of the ship repair so I don't know how long should I take the ideas there. The cover image is lovely and funny :D

@bo-dangles Thanks! The balance is important yup, but I feel like it still needs a bit more variety.
@richard-jedlicka Thank you! I agree, sadly time caught up to use at one point and we didn't have to put the other sprites in nor features we wanted to add, lot's of QOL stuff were missing. Post-ludum update will hopefully fix lot's of it and we're working on it atm. :) Thanks Again!
Cool game! As others said I wish there was a way to see the progress on the ship repair, even if it is just a bar filling up or something. Loved the style and the map, great job!

Thanks for submitting your game on the stream! Here’s the start of your game if you wanted to re-watch initial thoughts youtu.be/qbBq_nBKk5k?t=8505
Great foundation for the game, as we said on stream just a little more feedback to the player would help out lots! Congrats on the great entry!

Had a pretty good time with this one, the helpful cheat sheet image was definitely needed to make sure I was getting everything done. Sadly although I brought probably upward of ten ideas to the space ship nothing seemed to be changing or progress made, not sure how many you need to fix it but loved the sound, music and art style of the game. I think making the battery last a little longer at first while you're figuring things out could be helpful. Great premise and shows a lot of potential. Nice work!
First off, the cover art was great! xD This was pretty fun and by my second try it was a lot easier and more fun to speed through. Also, the graphics and art were soooo good in this and the lighting really carried the mood. The music and sfx were great too!
Also, in case it's helpful: couldn't get this to run in firefox but ran great in chrome.
Anyway, awesome job on this -really nice work! :D

Cool entry. It was a bit of a puzzle, figuring out how things work and what does what. I had a lot of fun figuring this out.
The one issue I had is that I wish there was better indications of how far along things are in progress (e.g., what level you upgraded each machine to, and what % of the repairs are done on the spaceship. Specifically the first few times I upgraded the machines the effect was so small I thought nothing really happened).
Thank you for making this game!
