I loooove the retro cartoon styled art in this -it looks amazing!! At first the player felt waaay too slow but as I played it I really liked it! Being able to jet pack back to safety at any time was a really cool risk/reward mechanic that kept me pushing for more bolts to spend! Music was great too! I admit i went back and looked for instructions after clicking around a bit and then read and liked and agreed with what you said above about the experience of figuring it out -usually prefer that approach to games too and it worked here -was pretty easy to figure out and really fun! @shumarie Thank you for your detailed criticism! I did actually make it start storming a little bit in the middle -light rain and bigger clouds but it wasn't very dramatic and easy to miss. . I actually would have loved to do a lot of what you described, but I simply did not have enough time. I was actually making an entirely different game and started over in the middle of day 2 to make this game -but I might polish this one up after the jam and do a lot of what you described! @itooh Funny you say that -originally I had it so you had to avoid the stars and it was much more fun to me that way -but wanted to make it a more chill experience. However, am already messing with a spin off sort of game that is a more arcadey -game play focused use of this mechanic. The narration felt slow to me too -especially on the shorter parts but was trying to stick to the ten second theme there -probably should have approached it different but ya know how game jams are lol Anyway thank you so much! :D

This is a really cool way of making a puzzle game out of packing!! Really like the simple, clean graphics -very cohesive and makes it easy to read all the things going on -and wow there is a lot going on -especially depending on how you play -which is one of the most brilliant things about the way this is designed -there are a lot of different ways to play this to achieve the same result -which is rare and awesome for an action puzzle game!! I tried laying out lots of boxes first, then a strategy where i tried making the smallest shape out of just the pieces first and grabbing the right box after, tried keeping box fillers out and ready to easily grab even tried saving shapes for later to use so i'm not waiting on the conveyor belt -this kind of depth and freedom of strategy is rare and awesome in this genre! Amazing work! :D

This was great! Surprising amount of depth to this game!
One small issue in case it's helpful: on day 2 the tutorial/goal wanted me to harvest honey but I had already harvested it so I couldn't move forward -was able to just go back to sleep and collect the honey and move it forward the next day though!
Anyway, I looved the art! The humor was great! Called the boss a lot xD - The music was also great and really worked with the mood! You all did amazing -fantastic work! :D
i love the little penguins sprites and how snappy it feels to jump from grid to grid. Really fun and I liked the different rules/behaviors of the aquatic life -also I love the little penguin scene between levels -amazing work!! :D
This was great!!! Really challenging and fun! The graphics look good and sound design is satisfying when canning those tomatoes -the quiet subtle jump sound was appreciated as well as all too often obnoxious jump sounds are used in other games. The action was really fun and felt chaotic trying not to accidentally switch to that fn watering bucket xD
I did find myself wanting to be able to jump on top of the canners in level 2 as I found myself trying short cut to reach the high one in a panic by jumping from one of those.
I really liked the subtle polish to this game -satisfying without being overly juiced. The sun was a cool, natural way to do the timer too. Really enjoyed this but couldn't beat day five lol. Anyway, fantastic work! :D
This timed out for me in firefox but ran great in chrome! The art work and atmosphere was amazing -loved the way it walked! THe animations and effects were really good too. That was really cool!! The intensity of running from that giant combine and starting off with needing to run towards the camera created a really cool start to the game as I foolishly tried to run around it the first time. Felt fun to barely make it to a scarecrow and then wait for that giant mechanical beast to wander off. This was a really cool idea -I liked the different game play styles a lot! The levels were fun and challenging and it was fun upgrading at the shop between levels! The whole experience felt polished and really high quality and well thought out -little quality of life additions like letting the player lower their cards to look at the plants was appreciated. The upgrades were fun and the sound was good too! Awesome job on this!! :D
this was a really fun top down shooter! the harvest / closing in border was cool -really fun and like most good bullet hells it was intense but had a good flow for bullet dodging and keeping the action intense -awesome work!!
This was so fun!! My goal eventually became to make one full mega corn combo lol - kept getting so close but just couldn't get that last corn xD

Would say one quality of life feature would be having a small alert that lets you know you when on your last turn -there were several times I had crops to harvest and got a game over because I forgot to pay attention to the counter lol. Anyway, I really enjoyed this! Well designed! Excellent work!! :D

This was great! The chaos! xD I really liked the music -funky and went perfectly with the action! Really fun and challenging -the victory picture at the end felt well earned. Had a lot of fun crossing the bridge and piling up cars too! awesome game! :D

@tobius First off, thank you for taking the time to write such a well thought out review like that! I reread it again just to take notes some fantastic suggestions in here! I do plan to have future levels with little keys and doors that open alternate paths. Also, I loooved the idea of watering the audience! Putting that on the todo list! There was a lot of stats I wanted to add like capacity for how many crops you could hold for example -but was already over-scoping on this one lol -really really really liked your idea of upgrading harvester's width! There are 3 moments the crowd cheers: when you lap,drive really close to make them do the wave, or when you level them up -will have to think of more ways to include cheering! And Lastly, on humor totally agree! Already have a small list of unused puns! Anyway, thank you so much for your amazing feedback and kind words!

@amarokczukay Crap, sorry that happened! -if you don't mind me asking how did you get stuck? Like was it getting an upgrade like turn or speed, and then pressing the 'go' button to exit the pit stop menu and the vehicle wouldn't move? Also, I don't know why the browser loses sound on restart but refreshing the page is the only way I've found to fix it when html5 games lose sound. Anyway, sorry it broke on ya! but thank you for letting me know and thank you for the kind words! :D

@fancyreckless Thank you! I made it in magica voxel and then exported it as slices (which export flat without lighting/shading) then sprite stacked the slices. And lol yeah that teleporting collision bug was *driving* me crazy xD I was in such a sloppy hurry I'm probably going to have to just redo it. Anywa, thank you so much for your kind words! :D

@koboldskeep that's pretty much exactly what it does, it loses time every lap -after a bunch of laps the only way you can keep going is driving well and having items that generate more time each lap. Each item shows a little coin or clock pop up each lap but maybe it's not obvious enough as there is a lot going on the screen -i might have to make that pop out more -anyway thanks for playing! :D

@honey-pony First off that was all super helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time to write such detailed feedback. I'm working on a post jam update and am rethinking the bonus time aspect -at the moment it is essentially a diminishing amount every lap.
A longer tutorial is something I want to avoid as I don't like tutorials in games but I do want to make it easier to figure out and am thinking of ways to improve that. On that note, in case it's useful to you I skipped the tutorial on your game but it was designed so intuitively that I only made a couple small mistakes in the beginning but it was forgiving enough that I was able to master it and have a really good time discovering all the nuances to how the cards/farming worked. Btw, I loved your game!! I want a version that's fully decked out (pun) that I can buy on steam! :D
Also, thank you so much for the detailed description of the crashes (sorry it crashed by the way) super helpful!! I didn't even think of anyone using escape to cancel a purchase/building! I wanted to have a cancel building purchase button but by the time I thought of it I didn't have enough time to implement it. So, escape was escaping the pit menu but not canceling your purchase/build lol (face palm here -can't believe I missed that xD. Anyway, that was all super helpful and thank you so so much for all the kind words and helpful feedback! :D

This was great!!! I loved the characters faces/expressions -the art in this game was so good -and the music was really good too! It fit the vibe perfectly! Great dialogue / story/ humor xD -played it all the way through to the end! One bug I found (i think it was a bug) is that you can exploit the jump hover and pick up the sack while in air to hover while carrying the sack. Anyway, really fun idea and concept! -carrying around the other character and using them as a weight to solve puzzles lmao -brilliant idea making them also be your check point though -really cool/creative!! Also, liked the art a lot -the reaper's sprite was great and really liked the art down at the bottom of the world! Music was really nice too -excellent work on this!! :D

The strategy in this was really addictive and fun! I really like how you could group them together and take a chance that the seeds you pick each round would go in the spots you're hoping for -really satisfying to get large groups of them and an excellent design choice having similar colors work too -made it easier in a good way! I loved this!!! It was so fun trying to stealthily get the same person repeatedly -i think i played this around 20 times and still couldn't 100% -very difficult (in a good fun way!)
I really liked how you slowed down the mosquito the more blood it was carrying -also that game over screen with the hand whipping the mosquito off was a really nice touch!

There is a whole lot to appreciate here! :D First, I gotta say I like the title and the logo -amazing pun and the design with the sharp toothed 'aggro' in contrast to the kind, green 'culture' is fun and captures the spirit of this game nicely!
It was really fun to get as many pachira so I could load up on the wheat while trying to balance necessary defense vegetation xD Also, I was not familiar with pachira before this game -money tree lol perfect!

The game play was great and everything felt smooth and polished! I really liked the aspect of protecting your wheat to spend between rounds -made progression really fun! Ended up buying everything in the store lol (could not get the pumpkin to work btw) and was fun to read what the upgrades are going to be -some very cool ones in there! The music was great! The art was awesome -really had to have it full screen to appreciate some of the pixel work -like the cards looked amazing and even some of the ui touches like a gardening glove was great! Really liked that you could pick up coins by hovering over them instead of clicking on them too. Played this one for a really long time and had a lot of fun!

Getting used to picking plants was pretty much the opposite of what I'm used to with tower defense games as usually you don't want to remove units -even once I knew what to do it was still hard to think of removing units as soon as they were active -having to use them for money makes for a pretty brilliant balancing act!
