A very short platfomer! The idea is nice enough and the music and polish is cool, too bad there is no content/levels.

@indigo Thank you! Yeah I wanted to add in some more levels to make the game a bit longer but ran out of time :(
Lovely presentation! the look and feel is spot on!
This one doesn't seem to work for me. I see a quick flash of something, then it turns black. Screenshots look ace though!
@olivieryc Thanks!
@pinkemma Weird, are you trying the web version or the desktop version?
Concept fits well with the theme. Good visuals and audio for what's there. I wasn't expecting it to end so quickly, though :( would have liked to play more.
The web version is not loading in Firefox, the loading bar displays but then the screen is just black.
Very short game, not a lot of platforming required, but it looks amazing and the sounds work great. I like the application of the theme and I think that this could be an interesting baseline for a larger platformer, we don't see enough with inverted gravity. I thought that the sprites were very cool, and whatever effect was used over the screen really sold it. Well done!
@googlypoo Thanks! I definitely wish I had more time to add some more levels :(
@smilewood Yeah it looks like the shader for the scanline effect doesn't want to play nice with Firefox for some reason. I'd agree with your feedback though I'd definitely love to expand this out as a post-jam version!
@ex3d0 I have now read the Note and tried it in another browser than Firefox :D Super cute, but a bit short. The scanlines are a bit heavy though. Solid idea.
Graphics are lovely and it's a good concept. Shame it was so short but its a good start!
Short game, but the idea is already there. Really nice aesthetic, visually it looks good and the music is nice. Too bad it was a bit short!
Very short as others have said but definitely on the short and sweet side! Enough time to get the concept across and leaves you wanting more which is always a good thing. The visual style was nice and the whole thing had a slight VVVVVV feel but with a more relaxed and structured feel to it.
The gravity switching feels good and the level layout works really well with the 10 second timer. You should definitely make more levels after the jam ends! An overall great feel to it. Very fun!
really liked it!
@laurahur @bridgeonastick @elmoeinstein I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@sarah-alexa I'd definitely love to add more levels (I had a lot of ideas for possible levels but no time to make them sadly). It's funny you mentioned VVVVVV because that was actually my inspiration for this game :laughing:
The game can be described in a few words like this: "Damn, I just started." A good implementation of the theme, it's a pity that it's so short. The music goes well with the graphics, so overall I liked the game. Good job!
It was definitely an unique take on the theme. The gravity change can create numerous interesting puzzles in a platformer setting.
very short, but the bones of a great idea are here! Keep going
An idea is here but i can't really tell how well it would work from this little bit alone. I like the art though, it's quite nice
Really love the visuals here, especially scanline effect! I also really liked the good music, it was pleasure to listen to it! Movement was great too. The game could be a little bit longer tho, but this is Compo and the time is limited. Great entry!
Congrat ! :) This is a great idea !!.
Damn dude! I was really hyped for the game to get into the crazy puzzles. I think you could extend this into a 30 minute experience and sell it for $2 a pop on itch
a small and very pleasant platformer. I restart the game in order to check all the places where I can fall :D
Nice little game, wish it were less little =). Music and controls felt good. I would have liked it to be a little more difficult, I made it to the end with only one death, and it was because I was curious about my mortality vis a vis pits.
Very decent look and feel. Audio is simple but fits the aesthetics. I'd just like to play more of it .)
Super short game, maybe too short but that's understandable considering it's a Compo. But part of that feeling is because I wanted to play so much more! It's a cool dynamic, graphics were good, and it can really make for really interesting puzzles if you plan to expand the game post-jam.
Cool idea! I really liked it. I was really surprised when it was over, It'd be awesome to see this but with more content, nice job!
This was really fun and I wish there was more I could play! Fun concept and great art.
The game mechanic fits the theme really well and you did a great job on the graphics and audio. The look and feel of the game is cool, but it's toooooooo short.
Really liked the art and the retro look to the game -was a fun use of the theme and controlled great! Also liked the music!! Nice work! :D
Ah wow, I wish it was a bit longer. I love the gravity flipping on a timer, and I wish there was a few more screens to really explore the mechanic some more. The artwork is lovely, and I especially love how there are multiple background layers, so the stars don't move at the same pace as the window!
I made a video, and I mention it there, but the music is a bit repetitive. I usually aim for a 3 minute loop, though this Ludum Dare I only managed a 1 minute loop. Even so, a single measure on repeat will drive anybody crazy if there's no variety.
Anyway, here's the video I made:

Right when it got interesting, it stopped. But you really got something nice here. The sprites are super detailed and the space ship and its rooms look great. Hope to see more from you in the future!

Interesting concept and nice art! Good job!
