gun knockback decrease is a weird upgrade, I liked my gun knockback, I was using it to get around faster :)
I really liked it fun game just wish there was audio I enjoied the up grade system but like @mostlikely said I actually like the gun knockback. Good Job!
the biggest issue i had with the game was the controls. for most games im used to left hand controlling player movement, and somewhere on right hand shoot, and interact, or interact with E key. would have been nice to have W as jump, and left click to shoot, and right click to harvest.

@JCMonkey - Actually, there are alternative controls: W can be used for jumping, A and D for moving, E for interaction, and F for shooting. In future updates, I might add the option to shoot with the mouse as well.
My initial thoughts were like "Ok this is another platformer shooter". And I was amazed how well done and polished the game was. Loved the crafting system, I didn't expect this game to be so deep. And absolutely adored the physics and control response mechanics. The shooting recoil and flying around with the jatpack felt so smooth and satisfying.
I think the only thing I would change would be the time between enemy waves. I understand that it's supposed to be noob friendly, but I always had like 40 seconds of just sitting and waiting. But that's just a minor thing.
Overall very well done game, with nice cute graphics and responsive controls.
Simple gameplay and art is not bad, I really want the game has some sound effects!

Nice graphics, and the game looks cool. It was not really playable for me however, due to the relative positions of the x, z and space keys on my keyboard (x is just above space key but z is at the other side of the keyboard for me).
@loig I've added an alternative control option for the game, so hopefully you'll be able to play now. Check the game description for more details. @jcmonkey You can now shoot and harvest using the mouse as well!
Game was really fun, I survived until wave 21! I found having to navigate the underground upgrade section was a bit tough, especially if an attack was coming soon. The enemies were super satisfying to kill. Very cool submission! :smile:

All the controls are on the point, the feeling of the attack was great. That knockback effect is a nice touch. It was really devastating to find my crops destroyed tho. Made me play second time and get updates. Keep up the good work!

Pretty fluid and fun. but I was cheesing it by spamming Z, C, and Lmb on every wave
Awesome game, really enjoyed the game loop, reminded me of Dome Keeper in a way. Great work.
Nice game! I liked the concept of the enemies trying to harvest your crops instead of just following you like most shooter games, and I had fun using the jetback and gun knockback to fly around. The time between waves felt too long for me, personally - adding an option to skip the timer would be a nice improvement (maybe with an additional reward for doing so, so you don't miss out on the crops you would harvest while waiting).
Fun wave defense game! I liked the upgrade system, and I wish there were more kinds of upgrades!
Reversing the knockback actually messed with how easy it was to farm the waves when they spawned, which I thought was kind of funny.
- Lovely graphics - A good amount of details shown in-game related to objective, controls - Some sounds / music would be helpful to increase the aesthetic of the game - Felt like the upgrades maybe are a bit too far to reach - Alternate controls were a nice touch - Wasn't sure what enemies are doing in the start (stealing your planted crops ? and if so, didn't find a way to tell how far they had until they completed said task) - All of this made in C++ is a pretty neat achievement in itself - Could shoot via all the types of controls available e.g. Z, C, B, click etc. (probably at a way faster rate by the looks of it)
Great take on the theme (sci-fi, anthropomorphic animals) and pretty darn fun game to play!

Nice game. The art is good, the upgrades were done well and the movement is fluid. I would have liked to be able to chose where to plant my crops. I had trouble defending the plants at the top due to always jumping too high and having to wait too long to drop back down again. A signpost on the right for the upgrades place would have been a nice addition.
i've had a lot of fun playing this one. the trade off between fight/harvest and upgrade is well designed, controls were nice. with sound, i think i would have been even more absorbed (but don't worry, i just spent 30 minutes playing haha)

Wow impressive entry. At first was a bit annoyed by the controls (knockback and directional shot) but after a few upgrades i started to have fun. End up playing until wave 35. The tool you used make it even more impressive. Congrats !
This was soooo cool!! I loved how you could go upgrade in a little outpost bunker and come back up and protect your harvest. Really fun and challenging! One thought if it's helpful: I think it would be fun to have a button that you press to skip the remaining time on the countdown til next wave that gives a small bonus based on the amount of time remaining til the next wave. Anyway, lots of fun with this one -amazing work! :D

Nice wave defense game! I guess more types of enemies, music, sound effects, and maybe other types of crops would be a nice addition, but I understand that time limit during LD has no mercy ;) Good job with the game!
