Very nice idea, but it was a little too easy.
Nice idea. Next time you can try use Emscripten to compile your C++ code to JavaScript. :)
I tried that and it is working (as you can see in my entry)
There's no place where I can be, since I found Serenity.
Addictive gameplay! I like it :)
So scary! :)
One of my favorite LD games!
Reminds me of Dune and Sandworm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandworm_(Dune)
Very good graphics and gameplay, but player moves a little bit too slow.
Yea. Graphics are very good :) You're very talented!
Thank you for two players mode!
Also very nice graphics. :)
Very nice game! But there's a bug where right blocks are still darker after founding of the polar bear.
Very nice game, music and graphics!
Will it be Android port as usual? :D
This might be nice smartphone game ;)
Reminds me of Teselecta's bots from Doctor Who!
Very nice and a little scary!
Everyone hates me :(
Can you link libgcc libs to the .exe? I can't run it.
Check this: http://stackoverflow.com/a/4703059
@kristof Yeah. It was my intention :)
@strong99 I wanted to make normal game with worm collecting points, but Emscripten (C++ to JS compiler) didn't work well with "delete (*iterator)" or "free" so I redesigned it to this strange crasher. :) Sorry for the crazy Windows binary. For me it was just a little faster than web version.
@SmilingCat Secret keys are arrows (left and right).
@FileCorrupted Yea, I was using just GLFW for creating window context and... that's all! Everything is a raw, clean OpenGL (and of course WebGL in Web version).
I finally figured out what was the problem with memory leaks. :D
But I won't update this version. I will let worm live! :)
Now I am ready for the next Ludum Dare.
Thank you all for this nice comments. It is my first (and "symbolic") entry. I didn't know somebody would like this "game".
Also sorry for my english.
Thank you.
@GreatBigJerk As I said: secret keys are left and right arrow.
@StudioWolfox I don't know. :D It sounds weird, but I didn't thought about second meaning when I was making it.
@Bernhard Yes, it is a bug, because I "commented" (//) a delete operator in main loop.
Very nice game! :)
It might be very cool on smartphones.
Amazing art style!
Wow! Amazing gameplay!
I beat it in 20 minutes. ;)
Very nice gameplay. :)
And a little bit scary!
LOL, I'M DEAD :)
I like this retro roguelike style :)
Wow! Very nice graphics. I like the movement too.
It's impressive that you made this game from scratch! The gameplay is very responsive and satisfying. I encountered an issue with the Linux build, but it's likely due to my window manager not respecting unresizable windows. As a result, I resized the game window to fill the screen, which unfortunately made the game unplayable on the first attempt. Other than that the game was highly playable. Very nice!
Very cute graphics and paw-erful design! ;) #clawared
When you run the executable, the UE5 requirements will automatically install. It's also compatible with Linux through Proton.
I didn't know it was possible to use Unreal Engine 5 for a 2D pixel art game, but it's really interesting to see it in action!
On Firefox the game gives me an error: `The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing: Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers) SharedArrayBuffer - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)`.
It works correctly in Chromium.
The concept of the game is very interesting and I really enjoy the level design. The graphics are simple, but they fit the game well and do not distract from the gameplay. Overall, it's a great game!
I've managed to get 795 points in the first song and 917 in the second! Fun and challenging game. The decision to use two sets of inputs was a clever way to make a classic rhythm game more interesting. Well done!
This is a pretty nice game and I had a lot of fun playing it! Also works great on Linux via Proton ;)
@JCMonkey - Actually, there are alternative controls: W can be used for jumping, A and D for moving, E for interaction, and F for shooting. In future updates, I might add the option to shoot with the mouse as well.
@loig I've added an alternative control option for the game, so hopefully you'll be able to play now. Check the game description for more details. @jcmonkey You can now shoot and harvest using the mouse as well!
I can confirm that the Linux build works correctly! :)
The concept and implementation of the game are very interesting. Although, it seems that you can't lose since you can just wait for the bird to drop hearts. Other than that, I think the game is really cool!
The graphics are very nice. I also appreciate the planting mechanic, as well as the addition of the coyote jump and variable jump height - it's a nice touch ;) Great entry!
Well done! I really enjoyed playing it and found it to be very addictive. I also finished it! This game has the potential to be a really satisfying mobile game. One thing that could be improved is the length of the screen transitions, but overall it was a great game.
Very addictive and really enjoy playing it! I've played it multiple times and it's fun to try out different strategies. I did notice a minor bug when buying upgrades though - the price check isn't inclusive, so you need to have more gold than the upgrade cost to be able to purchase it (or maybe I'm wrong). Other than that, I think the game is really cool!
The gameplay is both clever and satisfying, with very impressive graphics!
Very satisfying! I like the graphics and overall atmosphere. The upgrade system is a great mechanic - very nice!
Great platformer with a responsive and visually appealing design. The tutorial is clever and effective at teaching through gameplay. To improve accessibility, it would be helpful to allow players to restart the level using not only the mouse but also the SPACE/X on their keyboard/controller.
The game has a great atmosphere, with nice music and a pleasant vibe. Pretty interesting game overall!
Works great on Linux via Proton ;)
I did it! It took me 117 seconds. Pretty fun and cute looking game. I like the graphics!
It doesn't load in Firefox, but works correctly in Chromium. Very interesting concept! I like the idea of using both HTML elements and canvas for the game. The game is enjoyable and has potential for future improvements.
Interesting and funny concept! Also great sound design (especially the frog ending sound)! Well done!
Awesome game with very engaging gameplay loop! Well done! I beat with and the beetles didn't eat any of my potatoes ;)
Very impressive! Nice and simple, I enjoyed playing with the camera and trying different views. Game reminded me of retro Atari games (like Airball). Well done!
Very nice concept! The building does have a few quirks (sometimes the autosnapping can be a bit confusing, and you can move your ship by moving an object with the mouse), but it's still a lot of fun to play. The idea of harvesting parts has a ton of potential and could easily be made into its own game (with more parts and maybe different resources to collect). Controlling the ship may take a bit of practice, but it's totally worth it! All in all, great game!
Delightful and highly enjoyable!
The graphics in this game are solid 5.0/5.0! It's an excellent game.
Wow! This game has a voiceover, which is impressive. The gameplay has a clever concept and is challenging, which makes it enjoyable to play. You could definitely make a full game out of this idea.
This is a visually stunning game with excellent asthetics. The background color of the page even matches the game's background, which is a nice touch ;) The gameplay is engaging and challenging, and I only had one issue with the tree that was mentioned by other commenters.
Overall, it's a really good game!
TFW I realized that I didn't have to press the fire button repeatedly and could hold it down instead! ;) The game is very well-designed and enjoyable. The tutorial isn't even necessary because the gameplay is self-explanatory. Very fun and satisfying, yet challenging game!
Pretty fun and challenging. I managed to beat it in 92 seconds, but unfortunately, I massacred one chicken. Overall, the game is very enjoyable.
@icxon Thank you for playing and for the feedback! Bunnies actually produce blue bullets periodically, so I might need to indicate this better to the player  Graphics are done exactly as you described, regular pixel art and pixel-art font, but upscaled with an HQ4X shader.
@ariast Thank you very much for your kind words!
