Good simple game
I think this game deviates from the theme, because I cant get anthing in the end.And I dont like the audio, because it is too harsh
Game was super hard. I'm more impressed that you made this in C++ with Open GL in the time given, that is some legendary skills. I didn't quite understand what I was doing till I saw the silos, but I kinda got it from there. Oh and the enemies were brutal some red ball had me trapped and killed me while I was trying to jump over a ledge.
Other than that I liked the concept. I feel like if you had more time you could do something with this.
Amazing game! I am very impressed that you managed to make it in such a short time using OpenGL and C++
I can tell, This is not an easy game. It's hard to find wheat, and direction! Remind me about atari game!
Good job! Cheers!
As I lost myself in the Maze I found myself losing my Mind. But I liked it. Confusing, weird theme, cool textures. Overall, interesting but puzzling Gem. Good work. I look forward to seeing what strange things you do next...
Thanks for submitting your game on the stream! Here’s the start of your game if you wanted to re-watch initial thoughts youtu.be/gfUiPVIkyL0?t=5098
Amazing work, looks like a great foundation with your game engine for future games! Congrats!
First of all, very impressive that you managed to do this without an engine, so great job on that front!
However, I think that the game itself suffered a bit as a result. - It's hard to avoid the enemies as they are moving really quickly and in really tight spaces. - It's nice to be able to change the camera angles, but it gets hard to navigate if I change it too much, since the direction I'm moving into does not change with the angle. For this type of game, an ordinary 3rd person view would be much better, IMHO. - The sounds are very simple, harsh and repetitive. - I wasn't able to find the silo room (or I was there and didn't recognize it). I was never able to score any points, even though I was carrying the wheat. This is probably on me, but still I can't help but think that the individual rooms could use some variety (so that I can actually tell where I currently am and whether I was there before).
With some polish, balancing and perhaps a small tutorial, this has potential to be a great game.
Very impressive! Nice and simple, I enjoyed playing with the camera and trying different views. Game reminded me of retro Atari games (like Airball). Well done!
This is extremely bizarre. The camera options were an interesting addition. The maze made me feel like I was actually going insane because the repeating rooms made me think I was in some sort of magic house. I wouldn't say this game is fun as much as it is a spectacle but good job regardless.
Nice game, love the graphics and isometric layout. I got some wheat but don't really remember what wheat looked like
I think ive gone into every room and then i died. Not sure what to do or how to play :( The environments looked nice tho!

Thank you all for playing my game.
I have found this old papyrus that can help you in your hard task.

I was a bit confused as to where to go, i figured it out after a while. It would be nice with with a little message, sound or indication that you did the right thing by going into the silo room. But otherwise i really liked the game. It ran very smooth on my computer and looks great. A bit weird with the controls though, normally with isometric games with direct controls pressing up moves you directly up relative to the camera, and not up relative to global z or whatever. But i sort of got used to it.
Very impressive considering it's a roll your own engine.
Well done! :star2:
