Great little puzzle game! Took a few tries to figure out that last level but got there eventually. Nice graphics, think it would really benefit from a few sfx and some spooky background music but it's difficult with such a short deadline! Great work!

Incredible game, loved every part of it! Was great how the music sped up each day to build up the tension and the difficulty curve for each day was perfect!

Fun game! Was not expecting those "containers" haha. Took a few attempts to figure out how to open the containers (I think I was clicking at the wrong location at first) but played very smoothly once I got that. Great models and sfx, had the upgrade button text disappear after a while, but other than that no issues. Congrats!
Great game, I really liked how the 10 second timer meant you had to plan which cards to use **and** when to use them, rather than just rushing each turn like you would in other games.
I did resort to a cheese tactic of leaving a slow attacking enemy alive at the end of the rounds to heal up and prep for the next round! Loved the style and variety of the cards and enemies.
Nice little animations and artwork. Loved the concept! As suggested by some others, I think either a sprint option or slightly faster movement speed would be nice. This could apply to the free-cam movement too.
Also loved the audio - found the sfx ramped up the tension massively when I left one of the characters shooting in what appeared to be an empty direction forward only for my next character to hear the shots hitting something off screen as I rushed to support! (I suppose that's a reason to not put the movement speed up too much to keep the tension! :D)
Maybe with a bit more time or if you decide to do any more on this some objectives around the city would be nice, but considering you did this all solo I think it's a great entry! Nice work!

Reckon it would be a little nicer with a different camera view so that it's easier to switch between stations (I found it a little tricky to get to the register) but other than that was really fun! Nice work!
Amazing game mechanics, such a great idea. Loved exploring the world, music was great and matched the aesthetic really well, and the animation of the plants growing where the player steps was cute.
I thought I'd got stuck / bugged out on my first run through (blinked into 3:G couldn't get back out) so reset the game, but it turns out that I just hadn't learnt one of the mechanics yet. Each of the clues lead me perfectly to that 'aha' moment that all great puzzle games should aim for and it was really well put together.
Platforming controls and feel were great, the whole flow of the game and the learned mechanics really make this game quite fun to replay and attempt to speed run too! (This was my best attempt!) :smile:

Ran into one small issue with 2:G on the climb that falling down skips a room down to the bottom of 2:B, rather than to the other 2:B room right below.
Only other thing that I could nit pick on is that walking up some slopes would sometimes trigger a jump instead, so would sometimes count as the first of the double jumps.

Great ideas for upgrades and the game mechanics! Platforming controls were well tuned and the layout of the items and collectables created a nice level of challenge. Nice work!
Fun game, found it a little difficult to control but when you get a good run and nail the landing it's so good!
As others have mentioned, a skip replay option would be nice. I managed to flip my car in the first few seconds on one of the runs and had to wait another 8 seconds for the run to end and then for the full replay where basically nothing happened :D
Also might have helped to have some way to get used to the controls / drifting on an un-timed tutorial/playground before starting the timed levels? I felt like I didn't want to experiment with controls because I would run out of time.

Amazing visuals (as expected) and really catchy music! Very polished and fun game, only issue I had was I had to refresh each time I wanted to play again (playing through a second time didn't load the song for me)
Difficulty ramp between songs felt good, first one was slow enough to get the hang of it, and the final song was manic enough to feel like a challenge to get a good score, needed a few attempts to even get a 3rd star!

Very fun game! Didn't realise for a long time that you could get points clicking on the spikes, I thought they were things that would destroy my character so I avoided them the whole time! Perhaps a more rounded shape might indicate that they are not obstacles to avoid?
Simple graphics but works very well, felt the difficulty was just right for me - not so easy that you can beat it first try, but enough of a challenge to complete and then plenty of replayability in optimising the route and finding times to collect points. Took a few tries, but think I got all the points!

Think it could be a nice tweak if your score rolled over each life, so you could try to maximize it by collecting the points in earlier lives, and then each life after the ghost runs will collect the points again further increasing your score? I think this would then encourage players to further strategise the run to pick up points as soon as possible, with the trade off of less time progressing forward.

I think it would really benefit from a tutorial or maybe even an intro section? It took me a little while to realise that I could process some of the materials on the train into different ones. Perhaps starting with fewer resources and single track for the first 2 or 3 stops to allow the player time to process what's happening, then opening up to the larger map and the rest of the resources after that?
I also found a few times that I would accidentally select my next route because I was trying to get one last trade in, but was too slow, so my up/down input was then actioned on the map screen, confirming the route choice immediately. Maybe different controls between the screens, a confirm route selection prompt, or a transition between them would help avoid that occurring?
There was also one route (from one of the bottom left stops) which went off the top of my screen, so I couldn't see the end point's happiness / resources to select. Perhaps some option to zoom in/out of the map screen could assist there.
Overall a great idea and was fun to play!
Fun game, took a load of attempts but finally beat the beholder. Very clear on how to play and felt great getting the timing right! Great music and art style! Congrats!
Loved the artwork and graphics! Felt a bit slow to get to the ending, I'd upgraded everything but the main block and had to wait a while for the last two resource types I needed.
As others have mentioned, I think a bit more range (or wider targeting arc?) for the gun turrets would help as it felt like I couldn't stop some of the asteroids hitting the ships. But I understand that the guns were added late.

Cool game, good level of difficulty for each of the mechanics. Thought the hover was bugged or I was doing something wrong for a while because I missed that it swapped with the day/night cycle and completely missed the big text at the top telling me which was active! Woops!
The attack hit box felt a little off sometimes, but other than that was great! Solid game!
Super cute game, great artwork and a really fun mechanic. Played a few times and managed to get down to 115 years.
Not sure if it was an intended strat, but I found that upgrading the resources first and then picking up the bunnies straight after they left meant I could click and drag the resources while they gathered more. Only comment I would make is that it got a little difficult to select the resources that were dropped by the statue at the end of the game because of all the bunnies trying to build, but that's probably down to the strategy I was using rather than any UX issue.

Enjoyable game, difficulty level felt right to me, and the music was soothing even when orders were rushed! Felt that the tutorial was a bit slow paced, would have been nice to be able to click through it rather than waiting. Good ramping up of the difficulty as the levels get unlocked. Great work!
Cool game, really like the aesthetic and the audio design! Was a little daunting how much info was given in the tutorial but it definitely helped for the game-play. Would possibly suggest just having one type of enemy on the first few nights so that the tutorial and mechanics could be split up a bit and the player could build up knowledge as they played. Last night was terrifying! Great work!
Hi everyone, thanks so much for playing our game and all the great feedback! As @jaked said above we kinda ran out of time to add all the features we wanted, so I've just added a kind of retroactive Dev Log in the description if you want to see what we had planned!
There is a slight shading difference between the player and the enemies, but it's clear by all of the comments ( @adamphoebe @russ-moonbase @matt-ravenhall @leonel @genpaku @ccsjk98 ) that it wasn't anywhere near enough!
(We actually weren't too sure if it might make it more fun if you couldn't easily see you character to add to the chaos / feeling of getting overwhelmed in the rumble, but on reading your notes we think we're going to try to make all the enemies at least different suits from the player).
The difficulty curve is definitely an issue too ( @mr-danh @crimoudin @rawb @logan-hughes @fadrikalexander @darkmax14 ). We're thinking of adding more potential spawning points above the ring, with a counter to track the number of enemies in the ring so that we can start spawning more enemies if the player clears the ring quickly, and fewer if they're struggling with it. Thanks also for the feedback @elmoeinstein @amarokczukay @house-trap-charlie for pointing out both issues above!
Great ideas @human-writes-code & @sohei , especially about limiting the player with either a cooldown / stamina bar. As you say it's a little too easy to just spam the throw to clear the ring at the moment!

Polished game, great entry! Feels a bit punishing to have to restart the typing on any mistake, especially with the time constraint, but it probably is more due to my typing skills needing some work!

Great game! Took a few attempts to get there but made it to the party in the end! Found some of the menus a bit difficult to click on, and ended up closing the actions a few times when only just missing the options which was a little bit annoying but I guess that adds to the difficulty of the game. Great work!
Some fun mini-games! Got tricked by the 'get caught' one and ended up just jumping my flag off the right side of the screen :D
Would be good to have a little bit more randomness in the games. Having the answers in the same place limits the replayablility a fair amount, but was fun anyway.

Great game! Really enjoyed playing.
As others have said, it was a little odd that the ghost runs would sometimes live and sometimes die, even if I just let them run ahead so that the enemies wouldn't have anything different to react to. This did however give a slightly different challenge of making sure that enough of the lives attacked the enemies to cover any differences.

Was maybe a little short, I'd suggest an easy way to extend could have been to do a second run through where the player has to hit more notes in the music and so making it more difficult, but I think the difficulty was right for a first level as submitted.
The looping of the tutorial section is a great idea to make sure that the player understands the mechanic, and playing a few more times I finally noticed the cute little design of the carrots! harvest-song.png

Loved the animations and designs of the enemies! The variation of the designs and their corresponding mechanics was great! Perhaps having upgrade options each time you level up could allow players to create different builds for their runs to give a bit more replayablility? I could imagine dumping all the experience into turning rate and being able to drive donuts around the enemies, or going full on the weapon and having more of a wave defense type run.

Definite fever dream vibes, loved the audio change going underwater. Felt like it could do with a bit of explanation (either on this page or in game), and disabling / unloading enemies off screen may help with some of the lag that was happening.

Enjoyed the atmosphere of the game, felt pretty spooky! Feels like a very solid foundation if you wanted to extend into a post jam game. As people have commented, some more feedback for the player would have been useful (i.e. which power is selected?, am I hitting the orbs when shooting?, what did I die to?) Perhaps cutting down the mechanics for future jams might help (for example I think the crouch mechanic, the mana system, and reloading might not have been necessary).
Loved the sfx too, as you saw I was pretty terrified by the sound when the last source was collected! Congrats on the great entry!

Amazing atmosphere, great audio design and voice acting! The sound of the arm moving out was perfect! Loved that the pick up points tended to breadcrumb me to the next item so I didn't get lost.
Would be good to have some indication when the audio logs had finished playing so that any other sounds could add to the tense atmosphere (I wasn't sure if the sounds were on the log or in the sub)
Loved the interplay between the story and gameplay! Really interesting idea. Also managed to get the secret? ending first time round so had to restart to see the expected one. Glad you had the level unlock code!

Enjoyed the planning and routing challenges here, loved the little drone models and the building designs, definitely want to see if I can optimise the methods I was using too!
I think it would maybe benefit from some small UI changes when programming the drones - an arrow on the routes to show the direction of movement would allow for faster sight reading of the current plan, and maybe showing a slight route map of the other drones while programming so that you can get an overview of what they're all doing?

Struggled a lot with the controls to start but glad I read some of the comments because it was my keyboard limiting me to 3 inputs. Swapped over to controller and really enjoyed the challenge! Unfortunately my stream stopped recording on title screen of the download version so most of it I only have my reactions, sorry! :sweat_smile: (Think there's some interaction with OBS and Godot fullscreen as it's happened on other games before, but I need to figure it out. Loved the models, animations and voice acting! Great game! Going to do another run through at the start of the stream today so will add another link in a bit!

Really fun game, had to replay a load of times to try to get my time down! Had a few little fps issues as I got to the top of the map, but nothing that a chrome restart couldn't fix. Best I could get to was around 83s, might have to try some more soon! lucky lefty.png

Spoilers: There's only 2 NPCs in this version (pink & blue), and only 2 active interaction points (where text is shown to you when clicking on it). More were planned but ran out of time! Hope you enjoy playing!

Definitely some janky interaction points in the first two scenes sorry @exilon! Ran out of time and just had to drop some prefab versions in to give some interaction options, and unfortunately didn't hook it up to remove the sprite after you collect the coin (if the dialogue says you take it, then it moves into your 'inventory') @zimny11 @scooters
With the flying creatures, you have to click on the ground underneath them to move to be close enough, then click them to shoo away. They were all added in like the last 2 hours so it was just whatever worked at the time :sweat_smile:
Hopefully going to be able to tidy up some of the animations and controls in a post jam version, but not sure when I'm going to get the time for it!

@svenerik - wasn't the intention to have any anti-aliasing, must have been a setting somewhere when I imported the pixelart! Will sort soon!

Sorry that I couldn't play much of it, but weirdly it all works fine now for me, so it must be something to do with my GPU/CPU being used by OBS when streaming? Nice level designs, the dogs were a menace! No way I was gonna get past them without sprint!

Great game, loved the character designs and the expanding play area idea. Felt like there was a slightly odd interaction with the dash, sometimes it didn't seem to do much, but I think I got the hang of it in the end!
