The fact that there is no limit to how much force you can apply to the box made the levels trivial. I could, with a little bit of luck, just launch myself directly from spawn all the way to the end. Beating the first level legit was quite fun though.

The mechanics are fun!
It's funny that launching the package into space and letting it fall back doesn't harm it, but touching a slime does.
I like the art. It is cute!

This is actually a cool concept, but its way too easy to just yeet yourself right to the other side of the map in one go. There needs to be a max limit on how far you can fling yourself. Nevertheless its super fun.

Really fun, it was a bit annoying to have to zoom out every time on reset. Would be fun if you could kill the slimes at certain speed, but also had an integrity/health bar, to prevent just abusing the box with no consequences. For jam it's good though and it's really fun to play around in!
@potatocouch @hacktic Yeeeeeee, for proper gameplay I really should have limited the max force, the problem was that I was having a bit too fun yeeting the box across the map myself, lol. Glad you still enjoyed it :D
@theguy *Clearly* the slimes must be made of a special cardboard degrading acid. :P Glad you enjoyed it and it is nice to know someone likes my programmer art :D
@payaosito Those are good suggestions! Might have to make a post jam version sometime with that mechanic just for fun :D
I really like the mouse scroll wheel zoom in and out feature and wish more games had that control mechanic! It was also fun launching the parcel as far as possible in the air to complete the level quickly. Of course that didn't work so well on level 2 where there was a brick ceiling which is understandable as it makes the game more challenging. On thing I would like would be to allow the box to endure multiple slime hits instead of ending of the game with one hit which feels a little frustrating if you make it far in a level only to accidently get hit and go back to the very start.
Regardless nice work on getting this done for the COMPO and the music is nice and calming too :)
I spent the jam learning Godot too! I thought it was hilarious launching the parcel at light speed across the map. I tried minimizing the browser and dragging all the way to the right, and I was able to clip outside the map xD
Once I realized there was no limit on how far you could yet yourself, I couldn't stop cracking up! I really wanna see a video of someone completing level 1 in one shot. Level 2 on the other hand... omg I think I got close to the end but idk. I love that a roof was added so it couldn't just be a yeet-stravaganza again (and that it was left as an option for the first one!), and the way that it meant the box would roll and tumble as it hit it (or even as I shot low but far so it would have loads of forward momentum as it hit the ground) was just as hilarious and fun. Great job!

The movement method is very dynamic and satisfying. I'm also really glad that I can control the zoom with the mouse wheel. Furthermore, the pixel art style graphics had a very good atmosphere :)
The description got a laugh out of me already. This was a lot of fun! Wish it had more levels so I could play around a little more, but jams are always hard. Good job!
This was neat. I wish the box was a little more durable so 1 slime hit wouldn't end the level. Adding the bricks at the top of the second level was a goodd way to increase difficulty.
@ddesigndude @patrick-abernathy Yeah, that would probably have been a good idea, especially for some longer levels (if they existed) being killed in one hit is probablably way too harsh. :/
@sudocoffee Ah, frick, I did not think of being able to do that! But well, it's not a game jam without some bugs slipping through :P And especially when the engine is new to you as you have probably also experienced. :D
@cataclysmicknight @zundou @moonsheep I'm glad you got some enjoyment out of it! :D
I love this concept. It's enough fun to just fling the box around. I basically did level 1 in one long shot and tried to do the same on level 2 when I realized it wasn't going to be that easy. Wish it had another level or two, I enjoyed it!

Short but really enjoyable and well polished! I just wish there were more level :) Well done.
Thank you for not limiting the power of the launch when zoomed out.
It's hilarious to launch it with as much power as possible!
The second level was very hard though - hitting slime is almost inevitable.
Otherwise - it was quite good entry!

Lunching the package with as much force as possible is actually pretty funny :D And I agree, the second level was harder.
It's quite difficult and can get a bit annoying sometimes because of the random behavior of the slimes, but the gameplay is nonetheless pretty fun.

Played your game on stream, if you want to watch initial thoughts here's the link: (timestamps in the description to jump to your game!) [youtube link](youtu.be/N5dbipZkGKM)
@lomby Oh lord, watching my game getting played is among the most awkward feelings I have experienced but thank you so much for doing it! You gave good feedback and seeing how someone experiences the game for the first time gave me some interesting things to think about. :D I am indeed poor at leaving comments on other games though, I try my best but the social anxiety often says no. Leaving ratings is much nicer but I do understand why it's good that people give feedback and will try to push myself into doing more of that earlier next jam so that I don't have to stress this much over being rated myself. :)
