Fine I'll Do It Myself by axelrinaldo 2023-05-18T10:11:44Z
The description got a laugh out of me already. This was a lot of fun! Wish it had more levels so I could play around a little more, but jams are always hard. Good job!

Nice job! Very fitting to the theme and the car does feel very nice to control. Two things I'd suggest improving on would be 1) The camera does some very fast turns sometimes (specially when going in reverse) which can be a little disorienting. 2) The way the car feels to drive and the mission timers makes me wanna just drive around super fast but I feel that's a little hampered by the level design which has a few dead ends and a lot of buildings that give you little leeway to go off track. But yeah overall this is a great entry!
Amazing entry! The controls feel super intuitive and the premise is simple but works great. Specially love the UI and animations, they are well done and add an extra touch of polish that is super appreciated. Good work!
The theme interpretation is great, and the concept of the game is very innovative! Amazing audio and great visuals too. My only problem is that I couldn't figure out what my predictions were doing at all. It was fun to come up with combinations and interpret what they would convey, but I couldn't gauge the NPCs reactions to them.
This is great! My only suggestion would be adding a quick respawn button, because falls do happen pretty often (specially when youre still getting the hang of things) and the current behavior feels a bit too long.
The character controller feels great! Really fun to just fly around. I couldn't really figure out how to deliver the mail though, so my time was mostly spend just picking them up.
This was fun! The sprites are very cute, the music and SFX fit well and add a nice layer to it, and the loop + the concept of "defend your supplies for the next wave" just work great! There's some tactical depth missing and I felt the lack of a pause menu (with restart and exit options) but that's not the point of a jam, so all in all you did great here. Good job!
Thank you so much for the feedback everyone! Me and @dungeoneer64 are incredibly happy you all enjoyed the style/vibes :) We will try to improve the character controller and some other points that were raised here. In the meantime, we published the game on itch.io (maximecaux.itch.io/papercut) to fix some problems that the Ludum Dare embed was causing. Please try the game out there, I think you'll have a better experience!
