Congratulations on finishing your first game jam! I hope you had a fun time making this! :grin: This game is suprisingly fun, it feels really nice and smooth to play and the little minimap kind of thing is a fantastic idea. I couldn't get the embedding to work either but oh well haha.

With just a bit of music and/or sound, it would have much more potential. The base mechanic is fun enough for at short little highscore game.
Very cute! I enjoyed playing as the little pigeon. Had to go back and read what the icons meant, but that was fine.
The character controller feels great! Really fun to just fly around. I couldn't really figure out how to deliver the mail though, so my time was mostly spend just picking them up.

WELL DONE! It's a nice and fun game to play. It could use some game over screen but it's good anyways.
Really fun little game. With some update for the audio, and maybe the art a bit, it could be really nice. The feeling is already there and it's smooth. like @alyd-asmar, I even quit the game came here, see his/her comment and got back to the game trying to understand what it was :face_palm: I don't know why because your instruction are pretty clear but it felt like i had to pickup mail then go to the blue marker to deliver them but not. For those that still didn't get it, It's only the next spot the mail will appear. Great game and entry for the jam ! congrats !

Good entry for a first jam! I liked the addition of the bonuses, added a reason to pay attention to the map instead of just flying by the indicators. Took a while to get used to the controls, but thats probably just me expecting tank style accelerate and turn, instead of the virtual pointer.

I **could not** get used the the controls. Having a N S E W control scheme where you are a smooth-turning bird, really didn't feel good to me. You end up having the line up horizontally or vertically with the item then slowly inch towards it. When I lined up West of an item, then wanted to go faster, I did 'W', which then caused me to go north! Fly towards the mouse cursor would work way better, IMO.
@fruitflinger the buttons wasd were not meant as compas thingies but in the way they are mostly used in games were w north and a west etc. I didn't add the mouse controls since speed would then just be gained instantly(especially when turning) instead of gradually with the buttons.
Happy first jam! I quite like the controls, made flying around feel nice. Only major problem (that is not even a game breaker) I found is that the direction of the icons that show you where to deliver your mail do not update - so sometimes I passed flying too fast and far enough for the mail to not appear on my screen and then it was a challenge to find where it was. Loved the neighbor bird sound, I had fun imagining someone with a mic balancing themselves outside a window capturing a original birb song
After two openings I understood how to play this game and at that time I experienced the fun of this.Good design！
The minimalist art actually adds a lot to the ambiances, nice work!
I appreciated this one, especially given how similar a game I made - great job!

Good feelings. The flying mechanics work well as expected. The main gameplay is fun enough and fits with the theme. Maybe I am stupid, but downloading your game, I have had some difficulty in finding the executable. You should separate assets from binary. Just an advice. Thank you for your entry. Congrats on your first game submission! I was pleasantly surprised with the BIRB movement. I saw your note saying you added some audio, but I couldn't hear anything on the windows file I downloaded. I think this game is a really good effort, especially for a one-person submission on their first jam, so I hope you'll continue to build! It seems like all of the MVP elements are there, but even some simple details like menu fonts can make a big impression for player experience (it was slightly difficult to read). Nice controls and gameplay!
edit: idk what was going on, but I tried it again and the audio worked for me! very relaxing.
